Although extensive research exists on vocabulary instruction during book reading in preschool classroom, comparatively little research has been conducted on vocabulary exposure in classroom play contexts and child vocabulary outcomes. The purpose of this study was to examine Head Start teacher and child vocabulary use in dyadic play sessions and the relation between teachers’ vocabulary use and children’s vocabulary outcomes. One Enhanced Milieu Teaching (EMT) session for each of 53 teacher–child dyads was transcribed and coded for teacher use of target and sophisticated vocabulary, use of teacher strategies to support vocabulary development, and child use of vocabulary. Descriptive data indicate variability for both teacher and child vocabulary use in the play sessions. Both teacher total number of vocabulary words and vocabulary supports were significantly related to child vocabulary use within sessions. Implications for practice are discussed.

This makes learning, which was a face-to-face system, must be changed to distance education. In order for learning to continue optimally, of course, the teacher must be able to apply different learning strategies. In the pandemic era, schools implement online learning strategies, including at the Playgroup level. Online learning for children, of course, presents its challenges for the teachers. This is obtained by exploring various sources from several literatures from the results of research and thought where the results can be used for early childhood parents and teachers to be more precise in assisting and designing learning for early childhood so that the pearl of early childhood learning, namely playing while learning can be achieved.

In this study, this paper focuses on the study of euthanasia of COVID-19 patients, which causes the endless spread of COVID-19 and the possible practice of euthanasia assumed by Western medical personnel, as well as the ongoing debate over euthanasia because it is related to religious views. The above-mentioned motives are some factors that the paper attempts with an analytical descriptive writing method that cites references from several literatures such as books, journals, previous research and digital literacy. The study concludes that in Indonesia, although the Criminal Code does not explicitly mention the word euthanasia, however, based on the provisions of Article 344 of the Criminal Code, doctors should refuse to take this action even if the patient's family wishes. According to law, social norms, religion and ethics of doctors, euthanasia is not allowed. It is because the country of Indonesia, which has a majority Muslim population and religion, is in conflict with the issue. <p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0820/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>
