Dual-Resource Constrained (DRC) systems consist of two resources: workers and machines (stations). DRCs have become common in manufacturing and service firms that emphasise flexibility, where workers perform different tasks. Although having a flexible workforce is beneficial, it comes at a cost. When workers alternate between different jobs the productivity of the system is affected. On one hand the system becomes more responsive to changes (internal/external), and on the other hand worker productivity and system throughput deteriorate because of the loss of knowledge and workers’ fatigue. This subjects workers to conflicting phenomena. When workers are performing a task they are learning but also accumulating fatigue, which may result in error or injury. When transferred to another task, or on a break, workers may forget what they have learnt but at the same time recover from fatigue, either fully or partially. In particular, forgetting and fatigue are interesting to be considered as they directly affect the quality of products. This research investigates the effects of workers’ learning-forgetting and fatigue-recovery on DRC systems. First, it modifies a known learning-forgetting model by accounting for fatigue and recovery. Second, it assumes that the quality of a production process may deteriorate and generate defective items that require rework. Third, a human error model is developed that considers human learning-forgetting and fatigue-recovery in producing defective items. Fourth, a comprehensive model is developed that integrates learning, forgetting, fatigue, and recovery into a DRC system with quality consideration. This model is investigated for different transfer and flexibility policies. Numerical results provide insights and guidelines that may help operations managers with decisions on how to improve a system’s performance and throughput, while considering worker welfare. Results indicate that it is important to consider workers capabilities and limitations when designing manufacturing systems. They also suggest that ignoring human restrictions and abilities results in unrealistic production planning and erroneous cost estimation.

Background: Nowadays, manufacturing industry is much more fiercely competitive and global than ever before. For sustainable increases in market share and profitability, manufacturers are aiming to improve the quality of products and maintain the reliability of manufacturing systems. Objective: Therefore, how to jointly optimize the quality and reliability for manufacturing systems becomes an important research topic in recent years. Method: This paper presents an overview of the methods for modelling manufacturing systems, especially considering the system reliability and the product quality. And then we review the optimization methods for manufacturing system maintenance and production strategy. Conclusion: Finally, optimization methods and some challenges are summarized for future study.

Приведены результаты исследований по изучению влияния промышленной технологии возделывания картофеля на развитие, урожайность и качество продукции. Выявлена положительная реакция растений на подкормку K2SO4 в период посадки. Корреляционно-регрессионный анализ урожайности и качества клубней выявил высокую степень достоверности результатов опыта. Содержание нитратов и тяжелых металлов в клубнях было ниже допустимых величин.The results of studies on the impact of industrial technology of potato cultivation on growth, yield and quality of products. There was a positive response of plants to fertilizer K2SO4 in the period of planting. Correlation and regression analysis of yield and quality of tubers revealed a high degree of reliability of the results of experience. The contents of nitrates and heavy metals in tubers was below the permissible values.

The accuracy in administering the diagnosis code was the important matter for medical recorder, quality of data was the most important thing for health information management of medical recorder. This study aims to know the coder competency for accuracy and precision of using ICD 10 at X Hospital in Pekanbaru. This study was a qualitative method with case study implementation from five informan. The result show that medical personnel (doctor) have never received a training about coding, doctors writing that hard and difficult to read, failure for making diagnoses code or procedures, doctor used an usual abbreviations that are not standard, theres still an officer who are not understand about the nomenclature and mastering anatomy phatology, facilities and infrastructure were supported for accuracy and precision of the existing code. The errors of coding always happen because there is a human error. The accuracy and precision in coding very influence against the cost of INA CBGs, medical and the committee did most of the work in the case of severity level III, while medical record had a role in monitoring or evaluation of coding implementation. If there are resumes that is not clearly case mix team check file needed medical record the result the diagnoses or coding for conformity. <em>The objective of this is research was conducted to find out how the influence of the price and quality of products against customer loyalty at PT. Alakasa Extrusindo Jakarta. This research was conducted in Alakasa Extrusindo PT by doing data collection, through the primary data and secondary data.  The research results showed that the simultaneous price variables  and product quality  has a positive and significant effect against the variable customer loyalty. partially showed that price variables has a positive and significant influence towards customer loyalty. The introduction of the newest technologies of organic pig breeding has the basic principle of minimizing the use in pigs of chemicals, trace amounts of which in pig production adversely affect the quality of products and the health of consumers. The transition to herbal remedies, the maximum possible rejection of chemical synthesis products, is inhibited, in the main, by the relatively small spectrum of plant compounds with the investigated activity. According to the results of previous studies, six working solutions of Juglans regia L phytosupply extracts - potential phytosine disinfectants were developed: To investigate the bactericidal activity of the experimental preparations of Juglans regia, flushes were made from the internal structures and technological equipment of the housing of the pig stock of the experimental base v. Takhtaulove. Obtained samples of typical banal microflora of the pig complex were mixed to obtain a bacterial-containing suspension averaged over the concentration of microbial bodies and the spectrum of types of microflora in the microbiota. When cultured on nutrient media, with the superficial sowing of a suspension of banal microflora of a pig in the presence of a potential phytodisinfectant, processes of development of individual colonies of the microflora are observed. The amount and intensity of their development, the degree of inhibition of life, assess the level of bactericidal activity of the extracts. The highest bactericidal and fungicidal activity, and consequently, the potential efficacy as a possible disinfectant in the technology of organic pig breeding was revealed by the extracts of phytosupply Juglans regia L No. 2 (extractant - acetic acid to 5 %, nut of wax ripeness) and 4 (extractant, alcohol 20 % nutrient wax ripeness (proven after obtaining the primary extract of up to 5 % alcohol), which have bactericidal properties against gram-positive cocci and gram-negative sticks, but have a weak effect on the spore-forming bacilli. Key words: organic pig breeding, bactericidal activity, phyto-disinfectant, commonplace typical microflora of a pig complex, phyto row materials, walnut extract.

Device-to-Device (D2D) communications, which enable direct communication between nearby user devices over the licensed spectrum, have been considered a key technique to improve spectral efficiency and system throughput in cellular networks (CNs). However, the limited spectrum resources cannot be sufficient to support more cellular users (CUs) and D2D users to meet the growth of the traffic data in future wireless networks. Therefore, Long-Term Evolution-Unlicensed (LTE-U) and D2D-Unlicensed (D2D-U) technologies have been proposed to further enhance system capacity by extending the CUs and D2D users on the unlicensed spectrum for communications. In this paper, we consider an LTE network where the CUs and D2D users are allowed to share the unlicensed spectrum with Wi-Fi users. To maximize the sum rate of all users while guaranteeing each user’s quality of service (QoS), we jointly consider user access and resource allocation. To tackle the formulated problem, we propose a matching-iteration-based joint user access and resource allocation algorithm. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can significantly improve system throughput compared to the other benchmark algorithms.
