In this study, it was examined whether the teachers' in-class practices towards multicultural education in Kosovo differ according to gender, professional seniority, mother tongue, level and branch variables. Descriptive screening model was used in the study. The study group consisted of 975 Turkish, Albanian and Bosnian teachers working in the provinces of Prizren, Pristina, Mamusha, Reçane and Restelitsa in the 2016-2017 academic year. The education In-Class Practices Scale m developed by the researcher as a data collection tool to determine the classroom practices of teachers for multicultural educational practices was applied in this study. The results of the study showed that some variables differed significantly on classroom teaching practices. These are the mother tongue, the level, and the branch variables. On the other hand, it was determined that gender and professional seniority variables did not cause a significant difference in classroom practices. As a result of the study, it has been suggested that in-service training for teaching cultural differences for Turkish, Albanian and Bosnian native language teachers, the number of activities aimed at teaching cultural differences in activities related to different cultural values in schools textbooks should be increased and new program designs for multicultural education should be developed. Since the advent of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), teaching and learning have somewhat taken a paradigm shift. It is, thus, imperative for teachers in all disciplines to appreciate the essence of integrating ICTs in teaching and learning. In this regard, this study sought to explore Basic School Ghanaian Language teachers’ perceptions of ICT integration in Ghanaian language teaching. The study employed a descriptive survey design. Stratified random sampling was used to obtain data from 205 teachers in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo region of Ghana. Analysis of data collected through a self-developed questionnaire reveals that Ghanaian language teachers exhibit a positive perception of ICT integration in education. However, in practice, they tend to integrate ICT in their instruction on occasional basis. Also, it was revealed that a lack of financial support for ICT resources and lack of in-service training on ICT use were factors that militated against ICT integration in Ghanaian language teaching. Finally, the study revealed a statistically significant difference between degree holders and diploma holders’ perception of ICT integration in teaching and learning Ghanaian language.

The aim of this research is to evaluate creative drama studies in virtual museums with teacher opinions in order to ensure the revival of national cultural values through art. Qualitative research method was used in the study. The data were collected by the semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher. The study involved 25 elementary school classroom teachers working in various primary schools in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, in the 2020-2021 academic year. As a result of the research, it was revealed that teachers found themselves inadequate in virtual museums and creative drama, but considered the use of these applications in education extremely positive. In-service training programs to be prepared for teachers to gain competence in the field of creative drama in the virtual museum will enable them to use this method more effectively in education, which they find effective in learning. Numerous donor-sponsored in-service training programs have been operated in Bangladesh for English language teachers. EIA was the last donor-funded project that incorporated school-based training. It claimed to acquaint teachers with technology coupled with a lot of interactive activities to be incorporated in the classroom. The aim of the study was to identify the challenges faced by the secondary-school English language teachers in incorporating the elements learned in EIA training into their classroom practices and to identify the solutions to overcome the challenges. The present study undertook reflective theory developed by Wallace (1991). To conduct this study, semi-structured interview with the teachers and semi-structured classroom observation were carried out. Teachers reported some issues that potentially precluded them from employing different activities in their classrooms. In addition, teachers elicited suggestions to overcome the challenges. The interview data were organized thematically. This study was intended as an eye opener for the policy makers in the small states.

The aim of this research is to investigate the mental well-being levels of individuals who are educated in university preparatory classes according to different variables. In the research, a descriptive screening model has been used. The study group consists of male and female participants in preparatory classes at Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University in the 2019-2020 academic year. To evaluate the Mental Well-Being level, "Personal Information Form" prepared by the researcher and the data of the research, "Mental Well-Being Scale", a scale -original name being "Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-Being Scale" -developed by Tennant and his fellows (2007) adapted to Turkish by Keldal (2015) was used. Independent Samples T Test for frequency distributions, normality analyses and binary group comparisons, and one way ANOVA test for more than two group comparisons were conducted to provide descriptive information about the participants. As a result, there has been no significant difference in the answers given to questions such as gender, age and division variables, number of close friends, who help you the most when you encounter a problem, which sport branch you are engaged in, who encouraged you to exercise, how long you spend on your daily workouts, and specify some of your reasons to exercise. However, it has been determined that there is a meaningful difference in the answers given to the question of how long you have been playing this sport.

AbstractThe basic aim of this research is to determine teachers’ educational beliefs and their perceptions of multicultural competence. Also, it was investigated whether teachers’ educational beliefs and their perceptions of multicultural competence varied depending on some variables such as gender, department and professional seniority. Research was conducted in relational screening model. Research population was comprised of teachers who work at publich school in Atakum district in 2015-2016 academic year. Data were collected via “Perceptions of Multicultural Competence Scale” which was developed by Başbay and Kağnıcı (2011), “Educational Belief Scale” developed by Yılmaz, Altınkurt and Çokluk (2011) and “Personal Information Form” developed by the researchers. A statistical software package was used for the analysis of the data. The analysis of datas were used to descriptive statistics as mean, standart deviation, frequency, percentage as well as Mann-Whitney U and Spearman-Brown correlation coefficient. The results of research were revealed a significant correlation between teachers’ educational beliefs and their perceptions of multicultural competence. The obtained results were discussed in the light of literature and given some suggestions.Keywords: Belief, educational beliefs, multicultural education, multicultural competence, teacher.

Multicultural awareness is the foundation of communication and it involves the ability of standing back from ourselves and becoming aware of our cultural values, beliefs and perceptions. Multicultural awareness becomes central when we have to interact with people from other cultures. People see, interpret and evaluate things in a different ways. What is considered an appropriate behaviour in one culture is frequently inappropriate in another one. this research use descriptive- quantitative methodology to indentify level of students multicultural awareness specifically will be identified by gender and academic years. This research will identify multicultural awareness based on differences of gender, academic years.  This research use random and purposive random sampling of 650 students from university. These studies identify of multicultural awareness 34, 11, 4% in high condition, 84, 1% medium and 4, 5% in low. Further, there is a significant difference in the level of multicultural awareness based on gender and academic year. These findings could not be generalized because of the limited sample and ethnicity; it should need a wider research so that can be generalized and recommended the efforts to development and improvement of multicultural awareness conditions for optimization the services.

This study aims to investigate the levels of organizational happiness of teachers working in primary, secondary, and high schools and to determine whether there is a significant difference in terms of some demographic characteristics. The screening model was employed in the study. The study population consists of teachers working in the Küçükçekmece, Bağcılar, Avcılar, and Esenyurt districts during the 2017-2018 academic year. The sample of the study comprises 297 teachers working in the Küçükçekmece, Bağcılar, Avcılar, and Esenyurt districts and selected via the convenience/incidental sampling method. In the study, the “Personal Information Form” created by the researchers and the “School Happiness Scale” developed by Bulut (2015) were used as data collection tools. The SPSS packaged software was used in the data analysis. According to the results of the data analysis, teachers’ general happiness perceptions and organizational happiness perceptions were observed to be high according to the subdimensions of management processes, attitudes towards the teaching profession, communication, commitment and economic provision of the School Happiness Scale. Teachers’ perceptions of organizational happiness differed significantly according to the level of education taught by teachers in the subdimensions of management processes and economic provision of the School Happiness Scale. Teachers’ perceptions of organizational happiness differed significantly according to professional seniority in the management processes subdimension of the School Happiness Scale. Teachers’ perceptions of organizational happiness differed significantly in the subdimensions of management processes, attitudes towards the teaching profession, commitment, and economic provision of the School Happiness Scale and according to the branch variable in the overall total. Teachers’ perceptions of organizational happiness did not differ significantly according to the variables of gender, educational status, age, and seniority in the school where they worked.

<p><span>This study aimed to reveal preservice Turkish Language teachers' attitudes toward the use of Anatolian dialects in education in terms of their genders and years at university. The participants of the study are 201 preservice teachers who are 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year students studying at Turkish Language Teaching undergraduate program at Tokat Gaziosmanpasa University in the 2017-2018 academic year. The study is a correlational survey employing a descriptive research method. The data of the study were collected employing a scale named Attitude Scale Toward Anatolian Dialects. Using SPSS 22.0, t-Test for independent samples and One-Way ANOVA for independent samples were employed to analyze the data.  As a result of the study, it is found out that there is a significant difference between the attitudes toward Anatolian dialects in favor of males; and being only between 2nd and 4th-year students, there is a significant difference between the attitudes in favor of 2nd-year students.</span></p>

This case study examines and illustrates within country regional cultural differences and cross border cultural similarities across four western European countries. Drawing on the data from the World Values Survey (WVS), we refer to the Schwartz Cultural Values Inventory in the survey. The demographic variables of age, gender, education level, marital status and income vary across the regions and hence, have significant effects on the cultural value dimensions across regions. The findings help a better understanding of the homogeneity and heterogeneity of regions withinand across countries. Both researchers and managers will have to justify their sampling methods and generalisations more carefully when drawing conclusions for a whole country. This case study underlines the limited knowledge about regional within country cultural differences, while also illustrating the simplification of treating each country as culturally homogeneous. Cross-country business strategies connecting transnational regional markets based on cultural value characteristics need to take these similarities and differences into account when designating business plans.
