The origins of human culture and the foundation of freedom can be traced back to the religious nature of the species. Human ability to create an entirely worldly one, separate from the great synthesis, came only after a long period of experimentation and thought. Certainly, this is seen as a positive development in the current conception of culture and its historical context. Today, it is being debated whether the detachment of human work-from science to morality to education to the state to economics to art-from religious connections and connections has been beneficial both to culture itself and to human personality progress in the direction of higher concrete achievements and human development. The author utilized deductive reasoning to create a link between religion and the aspects of culture and the foundations of freedom in this research work, which uses a qualitative technique based on a deductive research methodology.

This chapter begins by providing a historical context for the Millennial generation. Growing up is different in the 21st century than before; it takes much longer. Given how many years youth take to explore their identities before they emerge into adulthood with stable jobs and committed partners, the chapter reviews what we now about “emerging adulthood” as a stage of human development. The chapter also highlights a debate in social science as to whether Millennials are entitled narcissists or a new civically engaged generation that will re-energize America. The chapter concludes with an overview of another debate, whether Millennials are pushing the gender revolution forward or returning to more traditional beliefs.

Abstract.ORGANIZATIONAL STRATEGIES FOR AN INCLUSIVE SCHOOLInclusive education is a hanging task within the Spanish Educational System, and nowadays it presents a stalemate. On this initial hypothesis let’s sense beforehand a theoretical and descriptive research work, based on bibliographical study of previous research on the subject, in order to know how the principle of diversity care is developed in Spanish Compulsory Education System schools, and therefore inclusive education, and what this pointed stagnation can occur. The study parts of a shared conceptualization of inclusiveness, and aims to collect information, analyze and reflect on it, and make innovative and assumable proposals on the basis of the obtained results for the development and evolution of the subject. The purpose of our research will be the inclusive school. We document the evolutionary process in the development of Spanish inclusive education, until the stalemate that is currently observed, analyzing some research on the subject made in the last decade. We start from a general survey of the situation of the Spanish educational system regarding the issue of the inclusiveness, analyze contributions of some contrasted authorship, and reflect on the achievements and work to be done. This task allows us, while validating the initial hypothesis of the study, substantiate somewhat firmly the relevance of contributing strategies that collaborate in the positive development of an inclusive school project. To design these proposals, we depart from a few prerequisites, primarily within the realm of belief and unwavering principles, and subsequently we develop a catalogue of basic sequenced strategies, which like mandatory decalogue, are essential in order to define our institutions as an inclusive school. Keywords: diversity care, inclusive education, inclusive school, educational centers, organizational strategies.

The present research work Subjectivity in Construction of heterosexual relationships is an attempt to understand the gender positions taken up by men and women with regard to desire and pleasure in heterosexuals. This requires an insight into the developing sexual selves of the participants. Using the qualitative technique of discourse analysis, the focus was to cultivate an image of the sexual life of these young people such that one is able to see how the elements in the construction of their sexuality have coalesced resulting in the current positions. It became evident through an analysis of the narratives, that women were very much creatures of desire and pleasure who thought about their sexual nature, their needs and fantasies. They had no qualms in admitting and accepting the same to not just themselves but also to the external world. Among the men, it was seen that men were not uni-dimensional, single-minded and self-centered with regard to sex. Intimacy and emotionality were very much part of their sexual repertoire. Thus, the focus here has not been to complete the jigsaw but to understand how these pieces have come to be a part of this puzzle, being completely aware that the results would only be an entry point to understanding how these complex structures come about.

This chapter traces the historical context within which the conceptual evolution of the human development and capabilities approach took place. It highlights the fact that the human development paradigm brought back to development a value-based concept that focused on the Aristotelian notion of human flourishing, thereby transcending the narrow interpretation dominated by economic growth. This chapter also compares the human development approach with other people-centric approaches, such as Human Resource Development (HDR), Basic Needs, Human Rights, and Human Security. The human development paradigm assumes renewed relevance for the twenty-first century world that is at the crossroads, plagued by the multidimensional challenges of inequality, environmental degradation, and increased vulnerabilities.

Purpose – This special issue of Chinese Management Studies aims to focus on entrepreneurship in China by addressing a variety of topics. The purpose is to provide some insights for entrepreneurship research based on the context of China as a representative emerging economy. Design/methodology/approach – Review and reflection. Findings – The research presented in the eight articles that constitute this special issue concern different topics, including entrepreneurship in the Chinese historical context, entrepreneurship in the context of networks and relationships and entrepreneurship in specialized industries. These articles provide valuable contributions to theory construction in entrepreneurship research for emerging economies, not just for enterprises in China but also for people and ventures around the world. Research limitations/implications – Developing an indigenous understanding of the opportunity for entrepreneurship research in an emerging economy such as China, we would argue, is only the beginning for the research work based on the historical context, networks and relationships, and specialized industries that could boom in the wide open workspaces of the developing world. Originality/value – The studies published here provide valuable contributions to theory construction in entrepreneurship research, as well as some basic ideas for concept definition and structural comparison in entrepreneurship research in other different domains.

I hasten at the start to point out that I am not an ecclesiastical historian, but a historian of America who is interested in church history since the field in which I work - educational history - desperately needs to be studied in a wider historical context. Then, as now, educational ideas, and the functions people ascribe to education, cannot be dissociated from the political, social, and economic background. Of all the many factors bearing upon the evolution of education in New England from approximately the 1780s to the 1880s religion was in several ways of central importance. Most studies have been interested in the religious nature of the mass of colleges founded from 1780 to 1860. My interest here is entirely different. Although the rhetoric naturally changed in emphasis, it seems to me that right from the seventeenth century to the late nineteenth century religious forces in New England, but of course not just there, used schools and colleges as cardinal agencies in efforts to restrain secularism and a growing materialism.
