Abstract The current scientific findings show a high probability of a recurrence of a suicide attempt with a police officer, who has already tried to commit suicide. They problematize the reliability of psychological examinations for limited firearm access. The article presents good practice of confronting the issue of suicide among members of the Slovenian Armed Forces, which could serve as a model for the police officer protection measures. Since 1991, the number of suicides in the police has been gradually decreasing. However, in the period 2009-2020, the number has been moderately increasing, mainly due to the higher number of suicides in the period 2018-2020. With the statistic method Chi-squared test, we have established that the number of suicides in the period 2018-2020 is not statistically significant in comparison to the period 2009-2017, or its significance is borderline. Key words Suicide, suicidality, police.

The Ministry of Defence has always been involved in terminology. However, terminology has not been collected in any termbase in the past years; it has only been collected in internal databases used as a basis for dictionary production. Having in mind the desire to establish systematic terminology work and subsequently systemize it, the linguists at the ministry have devised a terminology management model. The paper presents the strengths and weaknesses of the model, and the challenges of terminological work. It compares the model to foreign terminology practices within NATO and cites examples of good practices of foreign armed forces, thus proposing improvements to the Slovenian terminology management system and outlines the way ahead. Key words Term, terminology, terminology management model, working group, termbase

- This study analyses 37 questionnaires administered to the same number of auxiliaries of the Judge for the preliminary investigations with reference to the probatory incident on alleged minor victims of sexual abuse. The research wants to examine the real care and protection measures of the alleged victims during the period of time that goes from revelation to judicial hearing and to the moment of the same hearing. Besides, it aims to verify to what extent hearing is a hardship for the child and the eventual correlations between that and some variables about the procedures for the collection of witness, the need of protection and the setting features. The results show, even within the judicial course, a low, late or failed activation of the assistance, protection and care already provided by national rules and international conventions.Key words: auxiliary, probatory procedure, protected hearing, interview.Parole chiave: ausiliario, incidente probatorio, audizione protetta, intervista.

AbstractObjective:All suicide attempts cannot predict suicide, therefore we examined those characteristics of suicide attempt which could most accurately predict completed suicide.Subject and methods:Subjects were all individuals registered as committed suicides (N = 16,522) or attempted suicides (N = 15,057) in the register of suicides of the Republic of Slovenia between 1970 and 1996. Log linear analysis of a frequency table was used to uncover relationship between categorical variables. Results:The model we found fit between variables: mode, number of repetitions and type, then between number of repetitions, type and gender, and between mode, type and gender.Discussion:The risk of suicide in those who previously attempted suicide is approximately 773 times higher than the risk of suicide without a previous suicide attempt. Those who attempt suicide by hanging (hanging being in Slovenia the most frequent mode of completed suicide) are at even greater risk to commit suicide. Conclusion:Our data suggests that clinicians should heighten their awareness that any suicide attempt can in some 20% predict suicide. Someone who has attempted suicide by hanging is at the highest risk of suicide.

The article examines the process of formation of identity of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan – a charismatic leader, an adept of “moderate Islamism” one of the founders of the Justice and Development Party. Historically strong centralized authority was always normal for Turkey and the need for Turks in the charismatic leaders is evident even at the present time. Erdogan is stubborn and consistent, thanking to religious education in his family and in religious Lyceum Imam Hatib. He was always religious and since his student years, joined Islamic politicians. In his student years he became the head of the Istanbul Youth organization of the Islamist National Salvation Party, in whose ranks and files he received good practice of a political organizer. The crisis in the ranks of the Islamists after repeated bans of the Islamist party led to a split in its ranks and Erdogan and his associates established the Justice and Development Party (AKP). Creating the AKP, Erdogan and his colleagues received a very important support from the well-known Muslim preacher, writer and philosopher Fethullah Gülen living in Pennsylvania (USA). The political support of Gülen who has millions of followers in Turkey and a well-organized educational system of the “Hizmet” Movement operating not only in Turkey but also in 140 countries helped the AKP to win the elections to the Turkish Parliament. Numerous graduates of private schools, colleges and universities of F. Gülen has occupied leading positions in business, police, juridical structures and the armed forces of Turkey and became supporters of Erdogan. Economic reforms of the AKP has substantially strengthened the Turkish economy, increased the income of the population and managed to cope successfully with inflation. On this ground Erdogan’s credibility consequently grew in the face of voters who saw him a successful leader and skilled politician. However, Erdogan gradually returned to the daily life of Turks the Islamic religion, which caused discontent among the supporters of secular development of the country. Repeated attempts to remove the AKP from power were not successful. Using strong support from F. Gülen’s structures in the judiciary, Erdogan managed to organize high-profile lawsuits against the army leadership, politicians, and journalists – supporters of secular development of the country. In a popular referendum, the army was excluded from influence on the political system of the country. However, constant criticism of the policies of Erdogan from the side of F. Gülen led to the crisis of union between the two leaders. Using the failed coup attempt Erdogan accused in its organization Fethullah Gülen and began a wide crackdown against his supporters.

Abstract Since the 1990's, several changes have occurred in armoured formations. The scope of tank capabilities has been reduced considerably, while at the same time the presence of light armour and armour in combat support and combat service support units has increased. The percentage of armour in the battlefield has thus increased considerably. Nevertheless, doctrine-wise anti-armour combat is not a high priority for NATO and it is not even mentioned in the Slovenian Armed Forces doctrine (2006). The article deals with anti-armour combat from a doctrine perspective, and provides an analysis of anti-armour capabilities of modern armed forces. Building on this, it puts forward some conclusions and recommendations for the Slovenian Armed Forces. Key words: Anti-armour doctrine, anti-armour weapon systems, Slovenian Armed Forces, combat effectiveness coefficient.

The main theme of the paper is the Concept of Military Leadership in the Slovenian Armed Forces, which currently represents the highest substantive and guiding normative act in the field of military leadership in the Slovenian Armed Forces (hereinafter referred to as the SAF). Due to the enormous importance of this field in working with people and the aim of influencing the change of the concept, the paper analysed and compared the concepts of military leadership in other selected armed forces and looked for similarities and divergences, especially in two segments - substantive and normative. On the one hand, we have shown the substantive obsolescence and inadequate normative rank of the Concept of Military Leadership in the Slovenian Armed Forces and, on the other hand, the necessity of substantive updating with concrete proposals and arguments for the development of the Doctrine of Military Leadership in the SAF. Key words Leadership, armed forces, Concept of Military Leadership in the SAF

In the article, we analyzed the national strategies for the prevention of suicide that exist in the world. As a result of the analysis, we presented the concept of "Suicidal passport of the territorial community". It is a dynamic accounting system for signifi cant indicators that not only characterize the suicidal situation in the regional community, but also infl uence it. We have identifi ed two preferred categories for recording suicidal activity in the territorial community: "Characteristics of the suicidal situation in the territorial community" and "Resources for suicidal prevention". The authors propose to consider the concept of "Suicidal passport of the territorial community" as a supporting element of the National Strategy for the Prevention of Suicide in Ukraine. Key words: suicide, suicidal accounting, suicide prevention, suicidal passport of the territorial community, territorial community, self-annihilation
