This study assessed the impacts of HIV/AIDS programmes on sexual health among youths of Obiyebe community in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni LGA of Rivers State. The purpose of the study was to identify HIV/AIDS programmes on sexual health, to assess the knowledge of HIV/AIDS programmes on sexual health among the youths and to examine the impacts of HIV/AIDS programmes on sexual health among youths. The study adopted a descriptive survey study design with a sample size of 83 participants which are selected through a simple random sampling technique. A structured questionnaire was used as the instrument for data collection, while a frequency table and simple percentage were used as the instrument for data analysis. The findings of the study revealed that HIV/AIDS programmes on sexual health are; HIV/AIDS testing programmes, HIV/AIDS treatment programmes, HIV/AIDS prevention programmes, and United Nations Programmes on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS). Another finding of the study showed that sexuality, condoms, sexual anatomy and sex, and adolescence sexual features and puberty are the knowledge of sexual health among the youths that enhance their good sexual health and prevention of HIV/AIDS. Again the study revealed that the impacts of HIV/AIDS programmes on the sexual health of the youths were that their understanding of sexuality is increased, they understand the importance of using condoms if sexually active, there is a reduction in unwanted teenage pregnancies, they are informed of their normal sexual features development, puberty, reproductive anatomy and physiology, they are informed of the option to delay sexual activity until they are ready (matured), and there is a reduction of new HIV/AIDS/ other STI infections. The study made some recommendations and suggestions.

Understanding statistical tables is a main component of statistical literacy, although related research dealing with secondary school students is scarce. The purpose of this study was to investigate secondary school students’ performance when translating graphs to tables and then interpreting the resulting table. Using content analysis of the responses to a questionnaire given to a sample of Spanish students, we analysed the correctness of the constructed table, the semiotic conflicts that appeared in their construction, the interpretation of the table elements, the ability to argue on the basis of the information in the table, and the reading level exhibited by the student in this task. Most students correctly translated a pictogram to a frequency table, and a half of them a double bar graph to a two-way table. The main semiotic conflicts were misinterpretation of the icon in the pictogram and incorrect computation of marginal frequencies. About 40% of the sample correctly justified a statement using the data in the graph and then reached the upper reading level of the graph and table, but only a minority achieved that level when the question required knowledge of the context. The findings of the study suggested points to reinforce the teaching of statistical graphs and tables.

This study aims to: 1.To know the basic technique skills of crawl style swimming in the Kebumen swimming club association students. 2. Knowing the factors of difficulty experienced by students in learning the basic motion skills of crawl style swimming 3. Students are able to apply the basic movements of swimming with the right steps. This research was conducted on the students of the Kebumen swimming club association in Gossi Kebumen. The research plan is carried out in November 2021. The sample referred to in this study is 20 students in the 10-12 year age group who take part in basic swimming skills training. Descriptive data analysis was entered to get an overview of the data including the average, standard deviation, maximum data, minimum data, range, frequency table and graphs. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded: 1. Freestyle swimming skills measured using a stopwatch on students aged 10-12 years at the swimming club association in Kebumen showed that 50% of students had very poor swimming skills, 25% students have poor swimming skills and 25% of students have sufficient skills. 2. The category of skills that dominates the most in students is very low ability. Contributing to further research is to conduct research on more intense exercises on crawl swimming style techniques need to be done by athletes and also strategies to improve the ability of athletes in crawl style swimming.Keywords: Swimming, Crawl Style, Basic Swimming Technique

Fertility is an essential tool of population growth which levels and patterns can assist to formulate and evaluate policies related to population change. Fertility decline in Nepal has been tested and tried with different studies gives different figures like demographic health survey and national census data but varies data in provincial level. This study describes number of children ever born and number of birth before 12 months who were given birth by reproductive (15-49) age group of women. The study has utilized census data from CBS that were conducted in 2001 and 2011. These national household censuses were carried out in 12.5 percent of total household. From census data files 1,063,903 and 1,304,079 number of reproductive age group of women were identified through analysis. The study was carried out adhering to the Arriaga method and changing P/F ratio method. Age sex pyramids and frequency table represent demographic scenario of provincial 2. The TFR values of province 2 exact years 2016, 2021, 2026 and 2031 were obtained by linear interpolation and extrapolation by 2031, it will to reach TFR replacement level.

There are several reasons that lead to the importance of implementing a gender-oriented poverty alleviation program, one of which is that it can stimulate the emergence of empowerment. So the purpose of this research is to formulate the empowerment of poor women with the Pro-poor Capacity Improvement model in an effort to alleviate poverty in rural areas. The formulation of the model is based on the analysis of potentials, barriers, opportunities, threats, and policies in empowering poor women. Research in Gadingkulon Village, Dau District, Malang Regency was carried out through questionnaires, in-depth interviews, observations, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and literature studies. The first stage uses quantitative analysis to present the frequency table, and the second stage uses qualitative analysis in gender analysis by Sara Longwee. This research resulted in a model for empowering poor women, which was designed in the Pro-poor Capacity Improvement ((PCIM) model which consisted of several components in the model in order to improve family welfare. These components consisted of the results of an analysis of potential, opportunities, obstacles, intervention in entrepreneurship, and welfare.The formulation of empowerment of poor women in Gadingkulon Village can be implemented in poverty alleviation efforts.

The process of searching on the World Wide Web (WWW) is increasing regularly, and users around the world also use it regularly. In WWW the size of the text corpus is constantly increasing at an exponential rate, so we need an efficient indexing algorithm that reduces both space and time during the search process. This paper proposes a new technique that utilizes Word-Based Tagging Coding compression which is implemented using Parallel Wavelet Tree, called WBTC_PWT. WBTC_PWT uses the word-based tagging coding encoding technique to reduce the space complexity of the index and uses a parallel wavelet tree which reduces the time it takes to construct indexes. This technique utilizes the features of compressed pattern matching to minimize search time complexity. In this technique, all the unique words present in the text corpus are divided into different levels according to the word frequency table and a different wavelet tree is made for each level in parallel. Compared to other existing search algorithms based on compressed text, the proposed WBTC_PWT search method is significantly faster and it reduces the chances of getting the false matching result.

This study aims to describe the role of MATHLAB software in numerical method lectures, improve students' ability to solve numerical problems through learning assisted by MATHLAB software, improve students' abilities in formulating algorithms through learning assisted by MATHLAB software, improve students' abilities in programming through assisted learning MATLAB software; and describing student responses after numerical learning assisted by MATLAB software. This research is a quantitative research. To prove the hypothesis and answer the problems in this study, several statistical tests were carried out as follows:1. Test the description of the data, namely: making a data frequency table, testing the average value, and standard deviation.2. Prerequisite test, namely: normality test with Liliefors table and homogeneity test.3. Hypothesis testing, namely: statistical tests to see how much improvement in student competence is using the MATLAB software application in the numerical method course. The tests used are regression and correlation tests to see the increase in student competence using the MATLAB software application. The research method used is experimental. The population of this research is UMSU 7th semester students in the 2019/2020 academic year as many as 98 students.

Abstract Corrosion in stainless steel, abbreviated as SS, is still an exciting topic to study. Even though SS is a corrosion resistance material, this property will be degraded when exposed to high temperatures for a long time because of σ phase, such as a Fe-Cr compound, formation. The presence of this phase can be observed using a special chemical etchant solution that will give five specific colours to this phase: light brown, dark brown, bluish brown, light blue, and dark blue. In this study, the specimen sample is from ASTM A297. Furthermore, the metallography process is carried out to obtain microstructure images that describe the σ phase. Here, two grains were taken as objects to discretize with one of them was around the specimen sample center and the other was close to the boundary with the environment. The discretization resulted in a 2 x 5 frequency table, called contingency table, that is analysed by the independence χ2-test. The contingency table is also represented geometrically in cartesian. The study shows that two grains were not independent. The grain which was around the specimen sample center contained many σ phases dominated by light blue colour (43%). In other words, the prolonged heating did not give homogeneous corrosion level.
