This study aims to analyze the students’ feedback to the teachers’ performance in teaching recount text. This study was conducted by descriptive qualitative method through phases; gathering information and data and analyzing data. The subject of this research was at eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 35 Medan. The instruments for collecting data were students’ written feedback and questionnaire. The data then was analyzed by using checklist.. The results of the data analysis showed that there were 62,97% of students’ used the negative feedback in giving their opinions. There were only four of twenty seven students that could enclose at least five indicators of a good feedback.

The article presents the different approaches to the definition of teacher professionalism. The article analyzes the publication activity on the subject of pedagogical professionalism of teachers in higher education. There is a discussion of the problem of understanding and definition of pedagogical professionalism of a high school teacher. The article also describes the typical problems of a modern high school teacher. Analyzes the requirements of the professional standard "Teacher of vocational training, vocational education and secondary vocational education" to the modern high school teachers. The article presents the classification of professional competences, which should have a higher school teacher, and considered ways to solve the problems identified.

This paper is an empirical and analytical study of the uses of written feedback by Moroccan high school EFL teachers. It tries to investigate how EFL teachers in Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi high school respond to students’ compositions. Strong emphasis is laid on the types of teacher written feedback, with a focus on integrated feedback (form and content) as an effective way to respond to students’ written work. The ultimate goal of this paper is to ascertain the types and forms of teacher written feedback prevalent amongst Moroccan EFL high school teachers. In this light, the study seeks to investigate the following research questions: (1) Which types of written feedback do Moroccan high school EFL teachers employ to respond to students’ compositions? (2) Which forms of written feedback do Moroccan high school EFL teachers’ employ to respond to students’ compositions? To answer these questions, the present study used a mixed method approach that included: classroom observation checklist, document analysis of corrected writing productions and students’ questionnaire. The key findings illustrated that teachers at Abu Hayyan al-Tawhidi high school relied heavily on form-focused feedback. It also revealed that teachers opted for correction symbols and commentary.

Descriptive Approach

Purpose of this study to determine how the facilities and infrastructure for softball learning in Senior High School Jepara Regency. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, with the subject of this research is the Senior High School teachers in Jepara district. The collecting data using interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis using methods that are carried out continuously with data reduction, data presentation and make a conclusions. The results showed that (1) From 9 State Senior High Schools in Jepara Regency had good softball facilities and infrastructure, because there were several schools that did not have the facilities. (2) The main inhibiting factor in the procurement of softball facilities is the price of equipment which is expensive and in large quantities. (3) Softball learning in the school has not run optimally, due to inadequate facilities and infrastructure. (4) The teacher is innovative enough in learning to modify the tools and how to play. The conclusion is that the price of softball equipment is very expensive and the amount of equipment is not small, so the implementation of softball learning in the schools has not been carried out properly, because of the lack of softball equipment and also requires a large field. It is hoped that schools whose facilities and infrastructure for softball learning are still inadequate should be available to immediately organize softball facilities and infrastructure while still considering the level of need, so the quality of learning outcomes for sports and health, softball material can run well and can also lift branches Softball in Jepara Regency has become a popular sport not only among students but also among the local community.

Go Pong: Learning Media for Basic Techniques of Table Tennis Based on AndroidThis research used development research which was Research and Development (R&D) with 8 stages. The subject of this study was the eighth grade students of Junior High School of 1 Juwana. The data analysis techniques used were test and non-test techniques in the form of interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The results showed the effectiveness test of Go Pong media on learning outcomes that obtained an n-gain index was 0.486 and 0.374 with moderate criteria. While learning outcomes used book got the results 0.263 and 0.07 with moderate criteria. The percentage of Go Pong media completeness was superior at 60% while using books was only 40%. The conclusion of this study is that Go Pong media is very effective to be used for learning compared to book media.Keywords: learning outcomes, Go Pong media, basic techniques of table tennis. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) dengan 8 tahap. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Juwana. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan adalah teknik tes dan nontes berupa wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan uji keefektifan media Go Pong terhadap hasil belajar yang memperoleh indeks n-gain sebesar 0,486 dan 0,374 dengan kriteria sedang. Sedangkan hasil belajar menggunakan buku mendapatkan hasil 0,263 dan 0,07 dengan kriteria sedang. Presentase ketuntasan media Go Pong lebih unggul yaitu 60% sedangkan memakai buku hanya 40%. Simpulan penelitian adalah media Go Pong sangat efektif digunakan untuk pembelajaran dibandingkan menggunakan media buku.Kata kunci: hasil belajar, media Go Pong, teknik dasar tenis meja.

The purpose of the study is to determine the significant effect of SAVI learning model on mathematic communication skill of the eighth grade students of Karang Dapo State Junior High School in academic year 2016/2017. The study used True Experimental Method with design of control group pretest posttest. The Data analysis techniques used include normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. This research was carried out in class VIII Karang Dapo state Junior High School in academic year 2016/2017. This study was conducted in 5 (five) meetings, including 3 (three) learning meetings, 1 (one) pretest and 1 (one) posttest. 103 students as the members of 4 groups of eighth grade randomly selected to have equal opportunities to be the sample. Based on the results of data analysis with a significant level of α = 0.05 it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of SAVI learning model on the mathematic communication skills of eighth grade students of Karang Dapo State Junior High School in Academic Year in 2016/2017.The average score of students' mathematic communication skills in the experimental class was 25.64 and the control class was 17.02. The research aims to find out the positive and significant influence between simulation methods on the Christian Religious Education learning creativity of eighth grade Tarutung 2 Junior High School 2019/2020, the hypothesis that there  positive and significant influence between the use of simulation methods on student creativity of eighth grade Tarutung 2 Junior High School 2019/2020.The research used a descriptive quantitative inferential techniques, with population of all eighth grade students of Tarutung 2 Junior Hugh School with a total 194 people, with asample of 49 people.  The results of data analysis have positive and significant influence between simulation method and the Christian religious education learning creativity of eighth grade students of Tarutung 2 Junior High School in 2019/2020 learning year determination coefficient (r2) = 38.68% and a significant test of influence is obtained Fcount Ftable of  29, 37 4,05, Ho is rejected Ha accepted.Keywords: Simulation method, learning creativity

The aim of this research was to find out the roles of songs in teaching listening at Senior High School. Teachers can use some media that are suitable with the condition of the class and students. For that reason, song is one of media that is familiar for students. Descriptive qualitative was the approach of this research. The data were derived from interview, observation and documentation. The interview were conducted by 7 participants consisting of 6 students and 1 teacher. The subject of this research was the twelve grade students of one of Senior High School in Surabaya. This study found 3 roles and 5 benefits of songs in teaching listening at Senior High School. The result of roles are 1) song is a cozy medium to teach listening. 2) song is used to entertain students in listening class. 3) song is used to motivate students to learn English in the classroom. Besides, the result of benefits are 1) the students can learn vocabulary and meaning. 2) the students can learn pronunciation. 3) the students can train their listening skill. 4) the students can enjoy the listening class. 5) the students became active and confident in the class. In conclusion, songs became one of  good media in teaching listening because the students can feel comfortable, happy, and do not feel bored when they are in listening session. To all intens and purposes, there is a need to be conducted with having many participants for further research both different school or level. This is to get rich of the data in order to have more concrete data.  Keywords: Roles of song,  listening media

This study examines the influence of leadership and integrated management information system on the performance of Klaten State Senior High Schoolteachers. To create a good teacher performance is done with the utilization of information technology through integrated management information system as a means to provide services and improve teacher performance. The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the significance of leadership influence on teacher performance in Klaten State Senior High School , (2) to see the impact of the use of integrated management information system on the performance of Klaten State Senior High School teacher, (3) to know the effects of leadership and system combined management information on the performance of Klaten State Senior High School teachers. The number of samples is 95 people with data collection methods through distributing questionnaires, digging from documents and interviews. Data analysis technique in a prerequisite test of data analysis using Parson Product Moment correlation (r). Testing data normality using Chi-Square analysis with 5% significance level, and multiple regression. The results showed that leadership has a positive and significant impact on teacher performance, integrated management information system has a positive and significant effect on the performance of Klaten State Senior High School teachers, leadership and integrated management information system together also have a positive and significant impact on the performance of Klaten State Senior High School. Implications of command and integrated management information systems are vital factors that can affect the performance of Klaten State Senior High School teachers.

Abstract:The aim of this study are analyzing (1) the influence of discipline to the satisfaction of teachers’ performance, (2) the influence of motivation to teacher’s performance satisfaction, (3) the significant influence of profession allowance to teachers’ satisfaction performance, (4) the influence of discipline to the teachers’ performance, (5) the influence of motivation to teachers’ performance, (6) the influence of profession allowance to teachers’ performance, and (7) the influence of work’s satisfaction to the junior high school teachers’ performance in Tapin regency. The population was all of the state junior high school teachers in Tapin regency which consisted of 275 teachers and the sample used was 163 teachers were taken by using slovin formula. The data analyzed using the software of SPSS 22. The activities of data analysis were using path analysis. The results of the study show that: (1) discipline has direct influence to the work’s satisfaction teachers’ performance (2) motivation has direct influence to the work’s satisfaction teachers (3) profession allowance has direct influence to the work’s satisfaction teachers in Tapin regency (4) discipline has direct influence to teachers’ performance (5) motivation has direct influence to teachers’ performance (6) profession allowance has direct influence to teachers’ performance in Tapin regency, and (7) work’s satisfaction has direct influence to the state junior high school teachers’ performance in Tapin regency.   Keywords: Discipline, motivation, profession allowance, satisfaction and teachers’ performance   Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis(1) pengaruh disiplin terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, (2) pengaruh motivasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, (3) pengaruh sertifikasi terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, (4) pengaruh disiplin terhadap kinerja guru, (5) pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja guru ,(6) pengaruh sertifikasi terhadap kinerja guru SMP di Kabupaten Tapin, dan (7) pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMP Negeri yang ada di Kabupaten Tapin yang berjumlah 275 orang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 163 orang diambil dengan menggunakan rumus slovin. Analisis data menggunakan software SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Disiplin berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru (2) motivasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja  guru, (3) sertifikasi berpengaruh langsung terhadap kepuasan kerja guru, (4) disiplin berpengaruh langsung dantidak langsung terhadap kinerja kerja  guru (5) motivasi berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap kinerja  (6) sertifikasi berpengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap kinerja guru, dan (7) kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja guru SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Tapin   Kata kunci: Disiplin, motivasi, sertifikasi, kepuasan dan kinerja guru
