One indicator states that professional teachers / educators have the ability to manage classes, namely providing a conducive atmosphere for effective and efficient learning processes. If it is not yet conducive, then a teacher or lecturer must work optimally to master, regulate and improve, and create a conducive atmosphere so that the learning process can run optimally to achieve the desired learning goals. Class management is not an easy and easy thing, let alone for teachers who have just fielded themselves into the world of education, for teachers who are already professional, they have felt how difficult it is to manage classes, but never teachers feel dry and then deter from managing classes every time they teach in class. The failure of a teacher to achieve teaching goals is in line with the inability of the teacher to manage the class, from failure it is achievement, learning of students is low, not in accordance with the standards or size limits that are determined, therefore classroom management is very important teacher competency mastered by the teacher within the framework of success teaching and learning process. A comfortable classroom environment cannot be separated from the role of the teacher in managing the learning environment. Heterogeneous classroom conditions are a challenge for teachers to create a conducive and meaningful learning atmosphere. This is because each student has different characters, needs, and potentials that need to be developed. On the other hand, the heterogeneity of students if not managed properly can be a source of various problems in the classroom. Starting from bullying, the learning atmosphere is uncontrollable, even the attitude of antipathy to diversity triggers other negative attitudes, such as discrimination and injustice. Therefore, to overcome this problem, it requires the ability of teachers to create a classroom environment that respects diversity (multicultural). Based on this view, multicultural class management is needed. This is because multicultural classroom management is believed to be able to foster student diversity while still adhering to universal human values that are just and in favor of equality. Multicultural classroom management is also able to provide educational services that are by human needs, and respect differences with the human approach. On this basis, this study discusses teacher strategies in managing the diversity of students using a multicultural classroom management approach. Multicultural classroom management needs to be developed to create a more humanist and democratic learning atmosphere which is needed to foster the diversity of students in the classroom. Among the multicultural class management strategies that can be carried out are managing gender diversity, social status, ethnicity, including intelligence

This chapter is going to focus on the topic of gamification in classroom management. In this context, firstly, the definition, characteristics, theories of class management, and the strategies used in classroom management are going to be defined, and then gamification as the next generation strategy is going to be discussed. Although there are many studies on classroom management strategies that have been designed to make the education environment more effective in the literature, the use of these strategies in classroom applications may vary according to the practitioner and the classroom climate. However, it is seen that gamification has become increasingly important with the change in the perspectives and expectations of people and the advancement of the methods and techniques used in education.

Pesantren are traditional Islamic educational institutions which are never used up to be discussed and studied. One of the exciting things to study is how pesantren design basic "classes" so that they can make effective and efficient learning while staying oriented towards learning goals. And how do pesantren make "class" a secure emotional connection between teacher (kyai), student (santri), and teaching material (kitab kuning) in the class so that class harmonization appears within the typical scope of pesantren-style learning. Kitab Kuning learning in pesantren has a unique "model" in carrying out its education; this particularity is then interesting to be used as study material as another alternative in organizing education. Kitab Kuning learning in pesantren adheres to management that is different from class management in general, both in terms of curriculum structure, class construction, and interaction of existing learning components. In general, Kitab Kuning learning in pesantren is divided into 3 (three) levels, namely the primary level (Ula), the intermediate level (Wusta), and the upper level (Ulya). However, this research focuses more on the basic level (Ula), because this level is a determinant of success at the next grade level. Santri at the elementary level are not directly taught the Kitab Kuning, but were introduced first how to read and write the ‘Pegon’ Script. So, students who just entered were conditioned in such a way as to be more familiar with the ‘Pegon’ Script. Therefore, it will be discussed about the patterns and models of class management in the learning of the Kitab Kuning at As-Sunniyah Kencong Pesantren and Baitul Arqom Balung Pesantren in Jember Regency using behavior modification, socio-emotional, and group process approach, which is seen in the classroom conduciveness based on class conduciveness, the element of spirituality, namely the synergistic and harmonious interaction between the kiai, the teacher, and the santri in achieving the learning objectives.

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between classroom management and student achievement in the Building Engineering Education Department, The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Manado, and look for obstacles or obstacles that inhibit the success of student learning while looking for efforts to overcome these problems. This research method is correlational research. The results of a simple linear regression analysis of the variables of classroom management and student achievement in the Building Egineering Education Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Manado obtained the equation of the regression line ỷ = 34.80 + 0.42 X, which illustrates that if class management increases by one unit, student achievement will increase amounting to 0.361 units. Similarly, the results obtained that the regression model is good enough, because based on the model deviation test shows that the deviation is not significant at the 5% test level in this case F (Calculate) = 0.73 <F (Table) = 2.43. Thus, the regression equation above can be used to estimate or predict learning achievement (Y) if class management (X) is known. The results of testing the hypothesis, it is evident that the classroom management variables (X) have a positive and significant effect on student learning achievement at the Building Egineering Education at Universitas Negeri Manado. Based on these results, there is a significant and positive relationship between classroom management and student achievement in the Building Egineering Education Department students at Universitas Negeri Manado.
