The purpose of this research is to describe understanding by new students of nonformal education at Bengkulu University about nonformal education. As for the scope studied in this research was students understanding about the scope nonformal education which consist of understanding , characteristics , goals , roles, programs , institution and education facilities . Furthermore , reviewing the understanding of students at bengkulu university about the graduate competence and employment opportunity of S1 non formal education.  The design of this research was descriptive quantitatif research, this method carried out with the main goal to make an idea of situation objectively , the respondents of this research were new students of non formal education study program at Bengkulu University. The result and discussion of this research that understanding of new students of non formal study program at Bengkulu University about scope of informal education was high enough with percentage 69.4% , understanding about the graduate competence  of S1 non formal education  was sufficient with  percentage 51% and understanding about employment opportunity of S1  non formal education was highwith percentage 67.5% Key words : understanding , eldery work

Al Qur’an Learning Centres for Children (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an) was supposed to be a complimentary nonformal education for both formal and informal education  that many shared in society. This article was to analyze whether a feasibility study in terms of learning situation or education environment based on nonformal one. The research used a qualitative with descriptive design. The informants were derived from the managers Al Qur’an Learning Centres for Children , social figures and students’ parents. The results showed that Al Qur’an Learning Centres for Children as a informal education facility that complements formal and informal education was feasible to be maintained and developed to complete the religious-based on learning material both formal and informal education. In conclusion, learning situations or learning environments influence the feasibility as a learning resource for non-formal education. Sight Singing is the ability to read the notation and immediately sing the tune in accordance with the melody on the sheet music. Sight Singing is the activity of singing with solmisasi or movabel "do". This study aims to improve the ability to read beam notation in learning mandatory piano instruments using the Sight Singing approach. The Mandatory Piano Instrument course is one of the practical courses that must be taken by all Music Education Study Program students, ISI Yogyakarta. Not all new students in Music Education Study Program can read the beam notation, so this Piano Compulsory Instrument course course is always feared by students who have not read fluent notation. Sight singing as a strategy to enhance the learning of Piano Mandatory Instruments. This research is focused on the application of Sight singing in learning Mandatory Piano Instruments in Music Education Study Program. This research uses Classroom Action Research which can be categorized as a qualitative-experimental research by applying the Sight singing method. The results of this study are the learning process of the Mandatory Piano Instrument with the application of the Sight singing method more effectively to improve the ability to learn to read notation while playing the Piano Instrument, and students can be more expressing, impressed singing by accompanying themselves.

Learning vocabulary is the important aspect for the students when they are studying English. The students need fresh method to make them enjoy in learning process. The teacher should be able to deliver the material well. Using media appropriately is also needed for teachers. The objectives of this research are to know whether English song can improve the students’ vocabulary at the second semester of English education study program in University of Muhammadiyah Metro, to reveal whether English song English song influence the students’ motivation at the second semester of English education study program in learning process, to portray how much English song influence the students’ vocabulary mastery and students’ motivation at the second semester of English education study program in academic year 2015/2016The population in this research is 40 students. It is consist 2 classes and each class consists of 20 students..The result of the data analysis proved that the value of t-test (tobs is 8,742 and ttable is 2,021). It means that tobs is higher than ttable(8,742>2,021). Based on the criteria for testing hypothesis was if the value of t obtained is higher than t table at significant level 0,05 the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and hypothesis alternative (HI) is accepted. After viewing the result of One Sample t-test, the writer came to conclusion that “there was significant Influence of English Song Toward Students’ Vocabulary Mastery and students’ motivation at the second semester of English education Study Program in the Muhammadiyah University of Metro Academic Year 2015/2016”. Key words: English song, Students’ Motivation, Vocabulary Mastery.

Abstract:  This study aimed at describing the usage of smartphone and internet in the community of college students which can be the basic on the development of an application. This qualitative-descriptive study was conducted through interviews with teacher staff and surveys with 54 students of History Education Study Program in the Teacher Training and Educational Sciences Faculty. The study result shows that: (1) 47 students (87%) owned Smartphone of their own, while the rest of the students as much as 7 persons (13%) do not have Smartphone, (2) 42 students (87%) stated that they  have Smartphone which connected to internet all the timet, while the rest of the students as much as 6 persons (13%) stated the vice versa, (3) Smartphone application which can be developed is the multi-platform semi-online application with  HTML5 base.   Key words: smartphone, history learning media, and multi-platform Abstrak:  Penelitian ini berusaha untuk menggambarkan tentang penggunaan smartphone dan internet di kalangan mahasiswa yang dapat dijadikan dasar dalam pengembangan sebuah aplikasi. Penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif ini dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan staf pengajar dan survei terhadap 54 orang mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sebelas Maret. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat 47 orang (87%) telah memiliki smartphone pribadi, sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 7 orang (13%) tidak memiliki smartphone, (2) terdapat 42 orang (87%) menyatakan bahwa mereka memiliki smartphone yang selalu terhubung dengan internet setiap saat, sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 6 orang (13%) menyatakan tidak, (3) Aplikasi smartphone yang dapat dikembangkan adalah aplikasi multi-platform semi-online berbasis HTML5.   Kata kunci: smartphone, media pembelajaran sejarah, dan multi-platform

Analysis of new student registration based on data, that new students of FPMIPA IKIP PGRI Jember in many registration forms dropped first choice in biology education study program and second choice in other faculties, based on that matter is an evaluation material that must be done by FPMIPA whether students new students who choose biology education study programs also have good basic math skills with the aim of improving the quality of new student admissions at FPMIPA, so it needs to be analyzed about the basic mathematical abilities possessed by new students who are in FPMIPA Especially new students of biology education study programs. The formulation of the problem in this case, is how to analyze the basic abilities of mathematics to improve the quality of new students of FPMIPA, with the aim is to find out the results of the analysis of the basic mathematical abilities of new students of FPMIPA  to improve the quality of FPMIPA new student admissions each year. Descriptive qualitative research design with 6 research subjects, the results of the study that the structure of solving mathematical problems that are owned by new students of biology education study programs, 4 subjects have basic mathematical abilities. The study concludes that new students of FPMIPA who have an interest in choosing biology education study programs also have basic mathematical abilities, which is an effort to improve the quality of new student admissions at FPMIPA.

The topic of this Phenomenology Research Topics is the Extensification of environment education with respect to ESD over nonformal education systems. The title of this paper Eco Camp Educational Tourism Phenomenon in Indonesia. This research will reveal the reality of the expansion of non-formal education system in the form of a visit to an environmentally friendly area in northern Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. The research will answer questions about the phenomenon of eco camp educational tourism in Indonesia, the people who are specifically linked to eco camp educational tourism, how eco camp educational tourism affect the learning behavior of children and parents involved, changes that the parents and the children feel after participating in eco camp educational tourism, how eco camp educational tourism affect others around them, their feelings when participating in eco camp educational tourism, their opinion about eco camp educational tourism, and changes and circumstances that children remember when participating eco camp educational tourism. The key informants in this research are representative of 3 communities which are 4 children aged 5-9 years old and parents aged 29-38 years old. This research describes experience of present reality related to the phenomenon of non-formal education system in order to provide insight into the environment for the younger generation. The findings of this research have implications for educational technology. In the future, the concept eco camp educational tourism will be oriented towards education that can be adapted by formal and also informal education.

Authentic assessment is an essential component of effective learning that links theory to practice. As information technology has developed, portfolios have been considered authentic environments to enable learning students to reflect their potential through the evidence presented in the e-portfolio. This research's general objective is to produce an e-portfolio based authentic assessment model for the PNFI Learning Media Development course in the Non-formal Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pattimura. The method used in this research is the development research method. It uses three main stages of the Tjeer Plomp model: 1) preliminary research, 2) prototype design and development and expert validation, and 3) testing and revision. This study involved 71 students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pattimura, and three experts in assessment, media, and learning technology. The research data were obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and observations. This study found that Mahara is a suitable platform to be used in the learning process and is recommended to be developed as an e-portfolio based authentic learning model in the Non-formal Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Pattimura
