In the article, the authors consider mobile learning as a form of resource-based learning of university students in the study of professionally-oriented disciplines. The advantages of mobile learning are revealed: using the latest technology in training; using lightweight, compact, portable devices in training; delivering blended, resource-oriented learning; providing a quality support for training in any format; teaching students with special needs; reducing the costs of educational support; using the new ways of educational content developing; providing the continuous targeted support for the educational process; creating a fun, exciting and comfortable learning experience. The conditions necessary for organization of mobile education in the educational environment of a modern university are described: availability of mobile devices for students and teachers; access to developed electronic educational resources (electronic textbooks and manuals, educational websites, distance learning courses); organization of feedback between the teacher and the student. On the example of the discipline "Fundamentals of Leadership" at the University of Ukoopspilks "Poltava University of Economics and Trade" (PUET), Ukraine, the authors propose ways of organizing mobile learning for distance students. The developed distance course (via distance learning platform Moodle) and the electronic manual on "Fundamentals of Leadership" for mobile devices (program Dr.Explain) are offered. The opportunities and benefits of Dr.Explain program, which allows you to create e-learning manuals for mobile learning, are demonstrated. The article states that Dr.Explain is a convenient and effective tool / aid for developing a variety of electronic educational resources, ranging from electronic lectures and manuals to complete electronic courseware package and educational Internet resources. The authors emphasize that for mobile learning, it is necessary to create electronic teaching aids in the formats supported by mobile devices.

The article deals with the features of the mobile learning technology emergence. The genesis of mobile learning in the field of distance and e-learning and its development in the field of blended learning are clarified. The foreign experience and research of domestic scientists on the introduction of mobile learning in the educational process of Ukrainian educational institutions are analyzed. The relevance of the application of this innovative learning technology is clarified according to carried out the literary analysis, but there is a lack of study of mobile technologies using in the educational process, in particular in natural sciences study. The author conducted an experimental study in the form of questionnaires to find out the state of mobile education in general secondary education and to identify the readiness of natural subjects’ teachers to use mobile technologies to teach students. Teachers use mobile technology in lessons, mainly for organizing work with e-textbooks and searching for material online, and less often for demonstrating video experiences in the classroom. The barriers to the use of mobile technologies are the follows: lack of information about the educational opportunities of mobile technologies, lack of methods for its use, the influence of administration policy on the educational process, as well as the age of teachers. The article presents examples of mobile technologies that are appropriate to use in teaching natural sciences. Mobile applications are analyzed and their didactic capabilities are identified during specific lesson activities. The results of the study confirmed teachers' readiness to use mobile learning, in particular by using mobile technologies during the lesson. This paper describes the advantages of mobile devices in the application of its distance learning capabilities. The prospects of using mobile technologies in the educational process during pupils study are proved. The article outlines the prospects for future research of the methodology development for using mobile devices in teaching natural subjects.

This paper discusses approaches to economic and mathematical modeling skills development among students of universities of economics. The need for this competency among specialists in the digital economy is shown. The motivation of the student the future specialist in the digital economy in mastering the basic techniques of economic processes and systems modeling is outlined. The sections of the school course in mathematics are given, which are the basis for the development of these skills. Mathematical courses are examined; their study is considered to be the foundation for the development of the competence in economic processes modeling. The author describes the main types of mathematical models that are studied at the present stage at universities of economics and are widely used in the digital economy. The author also presents a classification of the models used in the educational process while studying mathematical courses. The main requirements for economic-mathematical models are discussed and substantiated. The author has listed necessary requirements for teachers of mathematical departments of universities. These requirements can help them to teach basic mathematics and its applied sections (e.g. mathematical modeling) to students successfully. The main conclusions and results of the study can be used in the practical work of teachers of mathematical departments at universities of economics when creating electronic teaching aids of economic and mathematical modeling and methods of their application in the educational process.

Mobile learning is becoming more prominent in all levels of education. While educators strive to keep up with the learning needs of twenty-first century students, research on best practices for mobile devices in the classroom is limited. There is a great deal of research on traditional note-taking, but mobile devices have changed the way students take notes. While electronic note-taking began with simply typing notes on a laptop computer, it has quickly transformed into a multitude of options with various note-taking applications (apps). The purpose of this chapter is to provide a brief review of mobile devices and note-taking in K-12 classrooms. Additionally, it reviews and compares features of eight note-taking applications. These apps change how notes are taken, organized, stored, and accessed. This chapter provides an overview of each application with specific examples using Notability, as well as the advantages and disadvantages of taking notes on the iPad.

The global spread of coronavirus infection has paralysed the work of many areas of economic, business, and, of course, educational activities of almost all countries on the planet. Unfortunately, Ukraine is no exception and a quarantine regime has been introduced in this country. The way out of the current situation in education in Ukraine was the introduction of distance learning in all educational institutions, which created new challenges for both teachers and students. The purpose of the paper was to study information technologies, tools and methods of learning that can be used for distance learning in educational institutions under quarantine. As a result, authors analysed world practices in ensuring the educational process within the framework of distance learning. The advantages and disadvantages of distance learning technologies for both higher education institutions and higher education seekers were identified.
