The methodological approaches and tendencies of the study on communicative needs are analyzed, their essence in the structure of intercourse process is revealed in the article. It is shown that communicative needs are an integral part of the motivational aspect of communication, and they cause to establish relationships with other people, express the need for communication and demonstrate its significance and value for a person. It is revealed that intercourse is an integral mechanism, which is studied in the integrative unity with need and motivational aspects. The role of the need sphere in the system of communicative interaction is specified. It is proved that needs are the main driver of communicative activity of participants in intercourse. The levels of formation of communicative needs among boys and girls are determined, and the role of communication in the youth is confirmed on the basis of the experimental analysis of the problem. In the course of the study, the significance of different types of communicative needs for students is established. The leading role of their ego-directed needs in the process of intercourse is stated, including the need to be heard, and understood; the desire to receive help, support and care; the need for empathy and compassion. According to the results of their experimental research, it is found that the vast majority of subjects under study is observed to have higher mean and average levels of communicative needs, that confirms the importance of intercourse at this age. According to the results of the differential-content analysis, two groups of communicative needs are characterized. It is established that ego-directed communicative needs are more important, among them there are: the need to be heard and understandable; the need for care, assistance and support from others; compassion and empathy. It is found out that the needs in care of other people; help and support others; joint leisure activities take the first place among sociogenic needs. All of them have a sensual-emotional coloring. According to the results of the study, it is found that the average indicator of the importance of ego-directed needs is in priority than the average indicator of value of sociogenic needs. This indicates the ego-oriented character of the need and motivational component of intercourse. On the basis of the data of the methodological and empirical research and the generalizations carried out, the program of experimental work is developed. It is used to study communicative needs as important drivers of the communicative process. It is proved that at the same time, the needs of the collectivist-status orientation occupy the last ranks, which should be noticed in correctional and developmental work. Therefore, we consider appropriate to formulate the need for establishing business relations; leadership, domination and control; belonging to a particular community, which is important for the communicative self-determination of young people as the basis of a professional communicative competence.

Under “the Belt and Road” initiative, China promoted cooperation between domestic enterprises and international ports vigorously, which brought back fruitful results, while the rational selection of strategic pivots ports and the optimization of the layout of the port network are important guarantees to a further promotion to the economic development of “the Belt and Road” ports and give full play to the driving and radiation role of strategic pivots ports. On the basis of constructing a network of 155 ports in the world, according to the number of ports crossed by the shortest path and betweenness centrality in the network, this paper uses K-Medoids clustering algorithm to train the strategic importance of ports and verifies the reliability of the analysis results. On this basis, the joint coverage analysis of strategically important ports is carried out, 17 ports are identified as strategic pivots ports of the global port network, and, finally, based on the two attributes of “the Belt and Road” and “Chinese enterprise participation” of strategic pivots ports, the leading role of strategic pivots ports in geographical location, path coverage, development potential, cooperation stability, and control is analyzed, and instructive suggestions are put forward.

Background Intracranial arterial dissections might be attributed to the particular biomechanical properties of their specific layers. Also, knowledge of adventitia properties would be crucial in the context of intracranial balloon angioplasty. Aims The purpose of this work was to determine the rupture pressure of separated adventitia and compare it to intact cerebral arterial segments. Methods Brain specimens were harvested from 14 autopsy subjects (age range from 23 to 86 years). Pressure-inflation tests were conducted on proximal segments of middle cerebral arteries and separated adventitia layers from contralateral arteries to assess the rupture pressure values. Results The averaged rupture pressure of adventitia layers was 1.41 SD 0.25 atm (1072 SD 190 mmHg), whereas for intact arterial segments it was 2.32 SD 0.70 atm (1763 SD 532 mmHg) and diminished with age according to nonlinear regression trends. The difference beetween the aformentioned rupture pressures was positively correlated with rupture pressure of intact arterial segments ( R2 = 0.88; p < 0.001). Conclusions The obtained experimental results indicate a leading role of adventitia in building arterial strength under supraphysiological pressure conditions. The greater the rupture pressure of complete cerebral arteries, the smaller the contribution of adventitia in overall wall resistance.

cThe article is devoted to the study of the current situation in the drug use by juvenile onvicts serving sentences in educational colonies. The data of official statistics illustrating the growing dynamics of the number of persons convicted of crimes related to drug trafficking are presented. The leading role of socio-psychological factors in the development of drug-addicted behavior of juvenile criminals is noted. The aim of the study is to identify the most significant socio-psychological factors contributing to the determination of drugaddicted behavior, to determine possible areas of work for personnel of educational colonies to prevent the drug-addicted behavior. The methodological basis of the research was formed by the questionnaire, statistical method, analysis, synthesis, induction, system-structural and formallogical methods. As a result of the work carried out, it was established that the level of drug use among convicted juveniles is significantly higher than both officially recognized and declared by the adolescents themselves. The most significant sociopsychological factor leading to such behavior is the family, mistakes in family upbringing, family problems or lack of education. Attention is drawn to the fact that one of the areas of educational colonies work in the prevention of drug addicted behavior can and should be the work not only with the inmates, but also with their parents. It is proposed to strengthen the responsibility of parents for drug addicted behavior of children. Implementation of the conclusions and proposals made will help stabilize the situation and reduce juvenile delinquency related to drug trafficking.

This article examines the problem of representation of chronotope using language means. The object of this research is a series of novels “The Chronicles of Amber” by Roger Zelazny in English language. The subject of this research is the lexical units and stylistic techniques used by R. Zelazny for visualization of representation of the chronotope of Chaos. The article substantiates attribution of this series of novels to postmodernist based on the analysis of characteristic features of the text and realization of the ideological concept. The goal of study lies determination of the universal principles of representation of spatial-temporal continuum of the Chaos, as well as establishment of dependence of the choice evaluative connotation of language means on personality of the narrator. The work is conducted at the intersection of linguistics and literary studies. The novelty consists in recognition of the leading role of chronotopic subject in determining tonality of representation of the chronotope. The main conclusion is defined by the fact that the key principle of representation of spatial and temporal components of the chronotope of Chaos in R. Zelazny’s series of novels is the destruction of realistic perception of space and time. It was also established that change of voice of the narrator leads to the shift of evaluative paradigm. An extremely negative attitude of the first narrator to the Courts of Chaos as a representative of the chronotope of Chaos, expressed through the negatively connoted epithets, is justified by its affiliation to Amber as a representative of the Order. Dual position of the second narrator leads to the change in tonality of description of physical personification of the chronotope of Chaos. Counterbalance of negatively and positively connoted lexical units creates the effect of objectivity, essential for realization of ideological content of the novel.

The largest companies that are part of the energy sector are defined by Forbes as those associated with the production of energy from nonrenewable sources and they play a very significant role in the world economy and in the generation of the command and control (C & C) function of cities. No comprehensive studies are available at the present time illustrating changes in financial performance in relation to the share of the largest firms in the energy sector in terms of their role in the generation of the C & C function. Thus, the aim of the paper is to show changes in financial performance and the impacts of energy sector companies on the C & C function of cities as well as to show spatial variances in the sector’s geography. The energy sector is developing most rapidly in Chinese cities, although it does not play a major role in the most important cities in the world via its impact on the C & C function—this may be due to rapid growth in other sectors of the economy. It is, however, very important in smaller cities. On the other hand, a large share of the energy sector involved in the development of renewable sources of energy may disturb the position of cities whose C & C function relies on energy sector companies. Thus, forecasts are needed for the sector and its impact on the command and control function of cities for the period of transition from nonrenewable sources to renewable ones. One new area of research is the formulation of methods that would allow the determination of the effects of economic recessions in the future on the financial health and C & C function impacts of the energy sector.

Modelling the nucleation and growth of nanoparticles in liquid-phase laser ablation is very important to optimize and control the size and the structure of nanoparticles. However, the detailed formation process of nanoparticles after laser ablation is still unclear. In the present study we investigated for the first time the kinetic growth of nanoparticles synthesized by laser ablation in water, emphasizing the leading role of the plasma medium and in particular the electrostatic agglomeration due to the charging of the nanoparticle in the plasma plume. The importance of the confining role of the liquid medium on the plasma plume is revealed, showing how an isothermal expansion is able to produce smaller nanoparticles compared to an adiabatic cooling.

Bronchial asthma as the most common respiratory tract disease is an urgent problem of modern medicine. Matrix metalloproteinases (MMР) play a significant role in the processes of inflammation maintaining and bronchi remodeling in children with bronchial asthma. Objective: To study the role and inheritance of MMR9 in the bronchial asthma pathogenesis in children.Characteristics of children and research methods. The authors carried out the prospective study of 54 children with bronchial asthma and 56 healthy children with the determination of the MMP-9 level in blood serum, as well as the polymorphic variant 8202A>G of MMP9 gene.Results. Children with bronchial asthma had significantly higher content of MMP9 in the blood serum (431.76 [306.15; 612.93] ng/ml), as compared to the control group (276.05 [160.33; 397.02] ng/ml). When studying polymorphism 8202A>G of MMP9 gene in the examined patients it was found that the children with bronchial asthma had the G allele a little more often (57.5%) than A allele (42.5%). Heterozygous carriers of the MMP9 gene polymorphic variant predominate both among the patients with bronchial asthma and in the control group. When comparing the frequency of genotypes and alleles in the group of children with bronchial asthma and control group the authors revealed no statistically significant differences.Conclusion. The disease mechanism significantly depends upon the MMR9 concentration in the serum of patients with bronchial asthma and the peculiarities of this enzyme inheritance.

LABURPENA: Espainiako bake-justizia krisian dago. Bake Epaitegien eredu portugaldarra oso alternatiba egokia izan daiteke gure ikuspegitik. Bi ereduen arteko ezberdintasunak nabarmenak dira: Portugaleko bake-epailea epaile profesionala da, zuzenbideko tituluduna; hainbat alorretako eskumenak ditu, baina alor zibilekoak denak; bere jurisdikzioaren barruko eremua malgua da; Bake Epaitegian prozedura informala eta malgua darama, bi aldeen arteko akordioa laguntzea baitu helburu, horregatik, Bake Epaitegiek bestelako metodoak erabiltzen dituzte Portugalen, esate baterako, bitartekaritza edo adiskidetzea. Epaitegi bakoitzean prozesu bitarteko bitartekari-zerbitzua dago, aldeei ados jartzen laguntzeko. ABSTRACT: Spanish Peace Courts are in crisis. The Portuguese model of Peace courts might be an acceptable alternative from our perspective. The differences between both models are remarkable: the Portuguese judge is a professional who holds a degree in Law; with a flexible determination of its territorial jurisdiction; the procedure before the Peace Court is informal and flexible and it aims to favour the agreement between the parties; therefore, the Peace Courts have the leading role of introducing alternative methods like mediation and conciliation. In every peace court there is an intraprocedural mediation service with the purpose of favouring the agreement between the parties.
