This research is motivated by the number of students who have difficulty in working on mathematical story problems. Students' difficulties in working on the problem indicate that there are errors in the teaching and learning process so that improvements are needed. This study aims to determine student errors that often occur in working on mathematical story problems based on Newman's type. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive. This research was carried out in several schools included in cluster 1 of the MarpoyanDamai District in Pekanbaru. The sample in this study amounted to 74 people. Based on the results of the study, the most frequent errors made by students in working on mathematical story problems were transformation errors with a percentage of 22%, followed by 15% answer error, 14% error understanding, and 13% process skill errors. If the total number of student errors is totaled, which is 65%, this number is included in the category of very high errors because the percentage is> 55%.

The study of motivation has a very important role in understanding of school success. The teachers and the education of parents and tutors are the key elements that influence the motivational dynamics for student learning, which is a crucial aspect to self-regulate the learning process in a positive way. This research aims to analyze the influence of the school context on the development of the motivational autonomy of Secondary Education students in the municipality of Baía Farta, Benguela province, Angola. For this purpose, a quantitative descriptive methodology was developed through a Likert scale questionnaire administered to teachers and students. The total sample of the study consisted of 650 students (60.1% men and 39.9% women) and 72 teachers (54.2% men and 45.8% women). The main results point to the commitment and active participation of students through motivational strategies that are implemented through the activities planned by the school. Creating a supportive environment for the student to be motivated requires the development of a role of the guiding teacher, guide and support in the teaching and learning process, as opposed to a traditional conception of teaching more closed and hierarchical.

Improving the quality of education will be achieved if the teaching and learning process by the teacher held in the classroom is truly effective and useful for achieving the expected knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Because basically, the teaching and learning process is the core of the overall education process, while the teaching and learning process is carried out in many formal activities in the classroom where the teacher is one of the important factors in determining the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore teachers are required to be able to improve their roles and competencies, competent teachers will be more able to create an effective learning environment and will be more capable of Classroom Action Management so that student learning outcomes are at an optimal level. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of classroom action management on Indonesian learning outcomes, the subject of story listening skills in SD Negeri 1 Kaobula. The method used in this research is quantitative descriptive which is used as a research design that clearly and clearly describes the research variables in the form of numbers and statistics. The population of this research is the fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kaobula which consists of 24 students. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the influence between the X variable (classroom action management) and the Y variable (Civics learning outcomes) has a strong influence between the two variables. If we look at the amount of oxy obtained, namely: 0, 620 it turns out to be between 0.40. 0.60. It can be stated that the correlation between variable X and variable Y is a relatively strong influence. Thus, the authors can simply give an interpretation of the oxy, namely that there is a significant positive effect between variable X and variable Y.

The great challenge in these last decades in education is the growing search for innovative teaching methodologies that enable a pedagogical praxis able to form subjects with ethical, historical, critical, reflective, transformative and humanized profile. The present study stems from the following problematization: what is the contribution of the active teaching methodology called “World Café” in teaching and learning processes, so that it favors teaching innovation in remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic? In facing this problem, the following objectives were listed: a) understanding the contributions of the World Café Method in teaching and learning process innovation; b) analyze the viability of the World Café Method in remote learning. A quali-quantitative, descriptive and applied methodological strategy is employed, drawing on Barbosa (2013), Berbel (2011), Brown and Isaacs (2007), Minayo (2010), Moran (2014) and Triviños (1987). The data were analyzed using discourse analysis techniques (Bardin, 2016). We conclude that it is possible to use the World Café Method in virtual, remote learning, as it enables the promotion of ideas, discussions, reflections, questions, and engages participants, that is, a collective learning process.

It is not easy for students to understand the questions in the form of stories so that errors often occur in the process of solving problems. This study aims to describe the factors that cause vocational students' errors in solving story problems based on Anne Newman. This research is a qualitative research. The instrument used in this research is a test which consists of 3 questions and an interview guide. The subjects in this study were students of class XII TKJ SMK Patria Gadingrejo. Analysis of the data using the analysis of the location of student errors based on Anne Newman's procedure, namely a) reading the problem, understanding the problem, b) transforming the problem, c) process skills, and d) writing the final answer. The factors that cause student errors at each stage are: 1) misunderstood the problem, the cause of which is the lack of understanding and thoroughness of students; 2) problem transformation errors, the reason is that students do not master the concept and do not have mastery of the material; 3) process skill errors, the cause of which students are wrong in doing the initial steps of work; 4) errors in writing the final answer, the reason is that students are not accustomed to writing conclusions.
