The aim of this research is to develop web-based learning media using the blog and the feature of information and communication technology which is combined with discovery learning model to teach English lecture in non-English class in STKIP PGRI Trenggalek. The research design used is research and development invented by Borg and Gall which is modified with ASSURE method. The instrument used are interview and questionnaire. The collected data then be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The result of the development is a learning blog with 5 menus, they are Home, Site guide, Chapter, Forum dan Credit. Within the use of media, students will experience learning which utilizes discovery model namely 2W3L. The final product of this learning media has been validated by blog-basis media expert with the score of 83 which means the media is good and there is no revision, meanwhile, the expert of learning content gives 88.8 points which means the learning steps of discovery and the material are very good and no revision. This valid and proper media is also accepted by the students very well.

We all realize and feel that today the world is moving fast towards the formation of a science-based society, science-based business activities and the realization of a new culture based on science and technology, especially information and communication technology or also known as information and communication technology whose main form is the internet. One form of using internet technology to support the learning process is E-Learning. With this E-Learning, educators or tutors can put learning materials, give assignments, collect assignments, and quizzes for evaluation. In the process of this research, the author uses a methodology that is commonly used by other research, the methodologies used include the method of literature study, observation, interviews with teachers, and literature studies. The purpose of this paper is to create a web-based learning media (e-Learning) that can be used by teachers as a learning tool with various sources for providing learning materials. The results achieved are the authors try to design a web-based learning media or better known as E-Learning. It is hoped that later the school can implement this E-Learning so that it can improve the performance of teachers as teachers and increase the absorption of students in mastering the material. The conclusion of this paper is that with E-Learning teachers and students are given convenience in the teaching and learning process and increase creativity for teachers and students.

Penguasaan terhadap Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi perlu diajarkan pada semua tingkatan agar suatu proses dan kegiatan dapat dilakukan dengan lebih cepat, mudah dan efisien. Para siswa kelas XII SMK Taruna Bangsa dituntut untuk memiliki kompetensi yang dapat dikuasai sebelum lulus sekolah. Salah satunya kompetensi adalah dapat membuat website atau aplikasi berbasis web. Disamping itu, kepala program jurusan RPL SMK Taruna Bangsa menyampaikan perlu adanya pendalaman dan pengetahuan lebih dalam pembuatan website selain yang dibekali di sekolah seperti mendesain website front end. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan mendesain website menggunakan framework Bootstrap. Pelaksanaan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini dijalankan sesuai dengan wujud implementasi MoU yang telah dilakukan antara SMK Taruna Bangsa dengan Universitas Bina Insani. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 dilakukan secara online melalui media konferensi www.zoom.us dan www.youtube.com. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 78 peserta dengan hasil akhir memberikan hasil yang positif, ditunjukkan pada umpan balik peserta terhadap materi yaitu pada nilai 4 (Baik) sebesar 32,1% dan nilai 5 (Sangat Baik) sebesar 60.7%. Berdasarkan paparan tersebut kegiatan PkM ini telah memberikan kemampuan dan penguasaan terhadap siswa dalam mendesain website dan memiliki bekal dalam mengimplementasikan pada bidang Teknologi informasi yang pada akhirnya mendorong smart education kota Bekasi. Kata kunci—bootstrap, pengabdian kepada masyarakat, website Mastery of Information and Communication Technology needs to be taught at all levels so that processes and activities can be carried out more quickly, easily and efficiently. Class XII students of SMK Taruna Bangsa are required to have competencies that can be mastered before graduating from school. One of the competencies is being able to create a website or web-based application. In addition, the head of the RPL department program at SMK Taruna Bangsa said that there is a need for more in-depth and knowledge in making websites other than those provided in schools such as designing front end websites. Therefore, training in designing websites using the Bootstrap framework is necessary. The implementation of Community Service (PkM) is carried out in accordance with the implementation of the MoU that has been carried out between SMK Taruna Bangsa and Bina Insani University. The implementation of activities during the Covid-19 pandemic was carried out online through the media conference www.zoom.us and www.youtube.com. This activity was attended by 78 participants with the final result giving positive results, shown in the participants' feedback on the material, namely a value of 4 (Good) of 32.1% and a value of 5 (Very Good) of 60.7%. Based on the explanation, this PkM activity has given students the ability and mastery in designing websites and has provisions in implementing it in the field of information technology which ultimately encourages smart education in the city of Bekasi. Transaction cost theory has often been used to support the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to reduce imperfection in the economic system. Electronic markets and hierarchies have repeatedly been described as solutions to inefficiencies in the organisation of transactions in complex and uncertain settings. Far from criticising this assumption, this paper highlights the limits associated with this application of transaction cost theory that has been prevalent in IS research. Building on the concepts first proposed by Ciborra, the paper argues that information-related problems represent only some of the elements contributing to transaction costs. These costs also emerge due to the interdependencies among the various factors contributing to their growth. The study of the consequences associated with ICT design and implementation, grounded in transaction cost theory, should consider the overall implication associated with the adoption and use of ICT and not only the direct effect on problems associated with information flow, distribution, and management.

Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have proved their cost effectiveness in extending the reach of the traditional classroom education to thousands of learners across the globe. However, many questions have been raised regarding the educational effectiveness of these MOOC models. In particular, the lack of personalization, social interactions, and credibility have been cited as some of the most important factors that create uncertainties regarding the viability of the MOOC based educational models. In the last couple of decades, Web-based businesses including online retailers, electronic marketplaces and online portals have successfully integrated information and communication technology (ICT) led initiatives and evolved to become viable business models. The focus of this chapter is to analyze the challenges of the current MOOC based educational models and suggest how they can adopt ICT tools to transform into MOOC 2.0 - the next generation of MOOCs.

The multilevel framework proposed in this chapter is particularly useful for research involving complex and multilevel interactions (i.e., interactions involving individuals, groups, organizations and networks at the community, regional or societal levels). The framework is influenced by three theoretical perspectives. The core foundation comes from the structurationist view of technology, a stream of research characterized by the application of structuration theory to information systems (IS) research and notably influenced by researchers like Orlikowski (2000) and Walsham (2002). In order to extend the framework to encompass research at the community/societal levels, concepts from social shaping of technology and from contextualism have been integrated. Beyond sharing a number of ontological and epistemological assumptions, these three streams of thinking have been combined because each of them offers particular concepts that are of great value for the kind of studies the authors wish to put forward: investigating the influence of information and communication technology (ICT) from a structurationist standpoint at levels that go beyond the organizational one.

The rapid development of the computer world that brings every individual or group of people will use information and communication technology in every activity. Likewise in the world of education, including libraries that utilize information and communication technology in managing the process of borrowing and returning library books. The benefits of making a web-based library information system include being able to save time where there is no need for manual recording, making it easier to find book data or library members, making it easier in making book loan reports and other reports and other benefits. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). The making of software is done by a waterfall model consisting of: (1) needs analysis, (2) design, (3) implementation, and (4) testing. Then UML visual modeling is used which is the standardization of modeling language for object-oriented software development. The expected results of this study produce a web-based library information system using the YII Framework with MVC (Model View Controller) method in SMA Karya Pembangunan Ciwidey that can solve existing problems. The formulation of the problem of this research is how to build a library information system in SMA Karya Pembangunan Ciwidey so that it can present accurate and efficient information. The purpose of this research is to produce a library information system.

Abstract. In an effort to provide an understanding of GIS to students through discovery learning, teachers can take advantage of information and communication technology (ICT), Text-books (Students' Books and Teachers' Books ), as well as student worksheet (LKS) as learning resourceS. Therefore, the objective of this research is the application of the discovery model of learning in improving the understanding of the Geographical Information System in SMA Negeri 1 Subang. This research used descriptive method and observation technique for data collection which referred to the work stages in geographic information systems. The result showed that the application of discovery learning learning model in teaching the utilization of GIS for inventory of natural resources and development planning can facilitate the students in studying and under-standing the materials in depth. This can be seen from the students’ learning outcome in the form of paper writing and daily test scores. Based on the papers that have been collected, it was found that they were able to observe and identify the data that would be needed to form a GIS database and during the learning process, most of the students were active, creative, and enthusiastic in learning the materials. The results also suggest that the teacher is expected to continue to im-prove their competence, especially pedagogical, so that teachers can develop strategies, ap-proaches, models, methods, and techniques of active learning, creative and innovative, so that learning becomes meaningful and fun and learning objectives can be achieved well and satisfac-tory.Abstrak. Dalam upaya memberikan pemahaman SIG kepada siswa melalui discovery learn-ing, guru dapat memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK), Buku Teks (Buku Siswa dan Buku Guru), serta lembar kerja siswa (LKS) sebagai sumber belajar. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan model discovery learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman sistem informasi geografis pada siswa SMA Negeri 1 Subang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode desktiptif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi dalam pengumpulan data dan mengacu pada tahapan Kerja dalam Sistem Informasi Geografis. Dapun hasilnya diketahui Penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dalam materi pemanfaatan SIG untuk inventarisasi sumber daya alam dan perencanaan pembangunan dapat memudahkan siswa dalam mempelajari dan memahami materi tersebut secara mendalam. Hal ini dapat terlihat dari perolehan hasil belajar siswa dalam bentuk karya tulis dan nilai ulangan harian dimana siswa. Berdasarkan kar-ya tulis yang telah dikumpulkan, dapat diketahui bahwa mereka mampu untuk melakukan ob-servasi dan identifikasi data yang akan dibutuhkan dalam membentuk basis data SIG. dan selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sebagian besar siswa terlihat aktif, kreatif, dan antusias da-lam mempelajari materi pemanfaatan SIG. Sedangkan saran yang dapat diajukan adalah Guru diharapkan terus meningkatkan kompetensinya, terutama kompetensi pedagogik, sehingga guu dapat menyusun strategi, pendekatan, model, metode, dan teknik pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, dan inovatif, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi bermakna dan menyenangkan serta tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai dengan baik dan memuaskan.

This research is useful to discuss the use of information and communication technology in Arabic learning in Islamic University by using the literature study method with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sources in this research are research literature and theory books. This study aims to obtain written information related to the use of information and communication technology as a media for Arabic learning in Islamic University. In addition to answering questions about the media that can be used in Arabic learning as an effort by Islamic Universities to make Arabic easy to understand, to know, to practice and like students in their learning. The researcher concludes that with advances in information and communication technology, Arabic lecturers must be able to develop effective Arabic learning models in an Islamic university, and use appropriate methods to realize learning objectives and use media that are compatible with learning methods that are accordance with information and communication technology advancement. information. The development of technology and communication provide great potential to change the way students learn and obtain information. Various learning media that can be used for effective Arabic learning are computer, internet, television, and Arabic e-learning.
