Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran pada tema 9 untuk siswa kelas iv sd dengan konteks Pop-Up Book yang valid dan praktis. Penggunaan media Pop-Up Book di lakukan karena di lapangan guru belum mengembangkan media pembelajaran ini. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan hanya buku pegangan guru dan buku penunjang untuk siswa, buku ini kurang menarik bagi siswa dan isinya sulit dipahami. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dengan tahapan analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah ahli media, ahli materi, ahli bahasa, guru, dan siswa. Instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi dan angket. Data yang diperoleh di analisis menggunakan teknik analisis statistic. Nilai rata-rata hasil uji validitas adalah 89,5% dengan kategori sangat valid. Dan hasil uji kepraktisan guru kelas IV SDN 02 Koto Tangah Batu Hampa yaitu 91.42% kategori sangat valid, dan angket kepraktisan respon siswa yaitu 95,71% kategori sangat valid. Sementara itu berdasarkan respon guru Kelas IV SDN 04 Koto Tangah Batu Hampa di peroleh persentase 94,28%, dan angket respon kepraktisan siswa 92,42% kategori sangat valid. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membuat siswa lebih memahami materi yang di sampaikan guru. Penelitian ini menghasilkan media pembelajaran Pop-Up Book yang belum ada dalam pembelajaran.

This study aims to describe the way to apply contextual teaching and learning approach on natural science learning of 6th-grade students of Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were researcher, teacher, and all of 6th-grade students of Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School totaling 34 students. Data collection technique which used in this study are two techniques; they are direct observation technique and documents analyze. Instruments which used in this study are direct observation sheet and documents. Based on data analyze obtained, learning planning that uses the contextual teaching and learning approach needs to attention about the continuity between the learning material with the student’s experience in real life and the determination of efficient time allocation. The steps for implementing the contextual teaching and learning approach to natural science learning in Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School have generally been well implemented and have an impact on the mastery of the material even though it has not been maximally individual.

This research presents the user interface design for natural science learning media in the form of snakes and ladders game for 4th grader of elementary school. Natural science becomes a problem for children because the way the teacher explains and media used is not maximal. The result is presented when students got poor grade and understanding. Elementary school children characteristic is playful, playing become the most effective way for children to learn. Snakes and ladders game developed by Daluti Delimanugari is used as learning media of natural science but this media still lack flexibility and practically. Technology is interesting to children because it presents motions, dimensions, sounds, colors, songs and varying materials. Children do not get those advantages from using other media. Therefore, this paper suggested a solution which is snakes and ladders game application as learning media for natural science. User-centered design used for designing the user interface focuses on the characteristic, task and environment of the users. The results of usability testing of the ladder snake game application that has been built obtain an average of 88.8%.

ABSTRAKTeknologi smartphone berbasis android dapat dikembangkan menjadi berbagai macam aplikasi sesuai kebutuhan penggunanya seperti aplikasi media pembelajaran pada sekolah dasar (SD). Metode pembelajaran siswa pada SD Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto masih menggunakan metode ceramah merupakan metode pembelajaran masih tekstual dan tidak interaktif  dengan media buku pelajaran sebagai buku panduan dalam proses pembelajaraan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada kelas 2. Pembelajaran dalam kelas masih mengalami hambatan pada proses komunikasi antara siswa dan guru ketika menyampaikan materi ajar, Maka perlu mengembangkan metode pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) menggunakan suatu media yang lebih interaktif dan animatif yang dapat menarik minat belajar siswa. Dengan adanya aplikasi m-learning yang lebih interaktif dan animatif dapat membantu siswa dalam belajar tidak harus menggunakan buku tetapi juga dapat belajar melalui smartphone untuk memeroleh materi belajar dapat dimana saja dan kapan saja.Kata Kunci : Mobile, Aplikasi, Multimedia, Pembelajaran.  ABSTRACTTechnology smartphone based of android can be developed into various applications as needed by users such as learning media applications used in elementary school. Student learning method at elementary school of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto uses conventional lecture method which remains textual and less interactive by using textbook as a guidebook in learning process of natural science subject in the second grade. Barriers to communication process between students and teachers emerge in learning process when teacher is delivering teaching materials. Therefore, it is necessary to develop proper methods for Natural Science learning by  using more interactive and animated media that can attract students’ learning interests. With the m-learning application that is more interactive and animatic, it is expected to help students in learning so that they do not have to use a paper book for learning but they also can learn by using smartphones to obtain learning materials anywhere and anytime.Keywords: Mobile ,Application, Multimedia, Learning.

This research is motivated by the problem of the low learning outcomes of students in natural science learning at elemantaryschool 58 Balai Makam, Mandau District. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning process and improve thelearning outcomes of science in the fourth grade students of elementary school 58 Balai Makam through the application ofdemonstration methods. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students totaling 26 people. This study consisted of twocycles. Student learning outcomes in cycle I obtained an average of 67.42 with 16 students who were completed and 10 studentswho were not completed, while in cycle II obtained an average of 75.80 with 22 students who were complete and 4 students whohad not complete. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that through thedemonstration method it has been proven to be able to improve the learning outcomes of students in grade IV elementary school58 Balai Makam.

Elementary school students’ achievement in natural science in the academic year of 2015/2016 at Cluster V, Buleleng regency, Bali province was considerably low. An early observation also revealed low motivation, negative attitudes towards teachers, low self-esteem and low confidence in self-capability. Therefore, a breakthrough approach was urgently required to improve the students' performance in natural science learning. The current article aimed at investigating the effects of the (Nature of Science) NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the Numbered Head Together (NHT) on the elementary school students’ achievement in natural science. The study was a quasi-experimental research adopting the post-test only control group design. The research conducted in elementary schools in Cluster V Buleleng sub-district, Buleleng regency, Bali, Indonesia. The research subject was 137 students in Grade 5 consisting of six classes from  5 elementary schools. The hypothesis was examined using an inferential statistics, the t-test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the learning results of natural science between the students taught with the NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the NHT type and those with the conventional learning model (t count = 7,048 >t table = 2,000). The students taught with the NOS-oriented constructive learning model with the NHT type achieved better than those with the conventional learning model. Therefore, it concluded that the NOS-oriented cooperative learning model with the NHT type gave positive effects on the fifth year students’ achievement in natural science learning.

The research aimed to study the effects of learning model and achievement motivation on natural science learning outcomes. It was a 2 x 2 factorial experimental design. The research was conducted at two state Islamic elementary schools in Medan, Indonesia, namely: Medan Tembung State Islamic Elementary School and Medan Sunggal State Islamic Elementary School. Samples in the research were 60 students at the two schools. Data in the research was collected by using an achievement motivation scale and a learning outcome test. Then, the collected data was analyzed by using a two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The research found that (1) natural science learning outcomes of students who were taught by using a cooperative learning model were higher than those of students who were taught by using a direct instruction model; (2) natural science learning outcomes of students with high achievement motivation who were taught by using a cooperative learning model were higher than those of students with high achievement motivation who were taught by using a direct instruction model; (3) natural science learning outcomes of students with low achievement motivation who were taught by using a direct instruction model were higher than those of students with low achievement motivation who were taught by using a cooperative learning model and; (4) there was an interaction between learning model and achievement motivation and its effects on natural science learning outcomes.
