The article is devoted to the effective analysis of trench and trenchless pipeline laying technologies. In the course of the work, an analytical review of pipeline assembly was performed, the main technological parameters, the scope of each method, and their advantages and disadvantages were determined. List of considered pipeline laying methods: trenching, horizontal directional drilling, mechanical puncture, hydraulic puncture, microtunneling and punching. The article analyzes the classical trench method and the most widely used trenchless ones: horizontal directional drilling; mechanical puncture; hydraulic puncture; microtunneling; punching. Each of these methods has several advantages and disadvantages. The choice of the optimal method of laying the pipeline depends on many factors: the physical and mechanical properties of soils and hydrogeological conditions, the length and diameter of the pipeline, the presence of other communications, buildings and structures, as well as the budget that customers have. Work time is the last deciding factor. Based on the results of the analysis of pipeline laying technologies and expert survey of construction industry experts, the cost table of each method was compiled, outlining the main characteristics of the technology: length of pipeline, speed of work, scope, cost, and the advantages and disadvantages of each of the considered methods. The conclusions about the use of each of the pipeline laying methods were made. Each of the methods has its advantages and disadvantages, so to choose the method of work it is necessary to conduct a comprehensive assessment of technological parameters, cost, scope and timing of work. The cost of lay-ing the pipeline consists of the following factors: conducting research; selection of diameter and determination of pipeline length; choice of laying method and equipment necessary for the works; selection of equipment, shut-off and control equipment and other materials arranged on the pipeline; terms of performance of works. Taking into account these factors, an estimate is made, which determines the cost of installation of a particular pipeline. After the analysis, we can conclude that among the methods of trenchless laying of pipelines can be identi-fied horizontally directional drilling, it is this method of laying the pipeline will be appropriate to use for our region. The drilling technique allows to carry out pipelines under obstacles, to pull long segments of networks, to repair site damage. This method is universal and can be used in almost any environment. Keywords: trenches, horizontal directional drilling, mechanical puncture, hydraulic piercing, microtunnelling, punching, pipeline.

The issues of using data analysis methods to find and correct errors in the reports issued by meteorologists are considered. The features of processing various types of meteorological messages are studied. The advantages and disadvantages of existing methods of classification of text information are considered. The classification methods are compared in order to identify the optimal method that will be used in the developed algorithm for analyzing meteorological messages. The prospects of using each of the methods in the developed algorithm are described. An algorithm for processing the source data is proposed, which consists in using syntactic and logical analysis to preclean the data from various kinds of noise and determine format errors for each type of message. After preliminary preparation the classification method correlates the received set of message characteristics with the previously trained model to determine the error of the current weather report and output the corresponding message to the operator in real time. The software tools used in the algorithm development and implementation processes are described. A complete description of the process of processing a meteorological message is presented from the moment when the message is entered in a text editor until the message is sent to the international weather message exchange service. The developed software is demonstrated, in which the proposed algorithm is implemented, which allows to improve the quality of messages and, as a result, the quality of meteorological forecasts. The results of the implementation of the new algorithm are described by comparing the number of messages containing various types of errors before the implementation of the algorithm and after the implementation.

AbstractPurposeTo establish whether the use of a passive or active technique of planning target volume (PTV) definition and treatment methods for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) deliver the most effective results. This literature review assesses the advantages and disadvantages in recent studies of each, while assessing the validity of the two approaches for planning and treatment.MethodsA systematic review of literature focusing on the planning and treatment of radiation therapy to NSCLC tumours. Different approaches which have been published in recent articles are subjected to critical appraisal in order to determine their relative efficacy.ResultsFree-breathing (FB) is the optimal method to perform planning scans for patients and departments, as it involves no significant increase in cost, workload or education. Maximum intensity projection (MIP) is the fastest form of delineation, however it is noted to be less accurate than the ten-phase overlap approach for computed tomography (CT). Although gating has proven to reduce margins and facilitate sparing of organs at risk, treatment times can be longer and planning time can be as much as 15 times higher for intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). This raises issues with patient comfort and stabilisation, impacting on the chance of geometric miss. Stereotactic treatments can take up to 3 hours to treat, along with increases in planning and treatment, as well as the additional hardware, software and training required.ConclusionFour-dimensional computed tomography (4DCT) is superior to 3DCT, with the passive FB approach for PTV delineation and treatment optimal. Departments should use a combination of MIP with visual confirmation ensuring coverage for stage 1 disease. Stages 2–3 should be delineated using ten-phases overlaid. Stereotactic and gated treatments for early stage disease should be used accordingly; FB-IMRT is optimal for latter stage disease.

fiber concrete is one of the types of effective building materials that ensure the operational reliability of structures due to a set of unique properties. However, the maximum physicomechanical characteristics of this type of products are achieved only if the fiber is evenly distributed in the concrete matrix and the optimum ratio of raw materials is reached. In this connection, the aim of the work was to increase the production efficiency of fiber-reinforced concrete by optimizing the formulation and technological parameters of its manufacture. The optimal method of introducing the fiber into the concrete mix and the type of superplasticizer were previously determined, which allowed ensuring the maximum physicomechanical characteristics of the products. Optimization of prescription parameters was carried out using the method of mathematical planning of the experiment, where the amount of cement, superplasticizer and basalt fiber were varied. After processing the results, the dependences of the compressive strength on variable factors were obtained, which would allow to select the optimal dosages of raw materials for given mechanical characteristics of the products.
