The recent progress of modern algebra in analysing, from the algebraic standpoint, the foundations of algebraic geometry, has been marked by the rapid development of what may be called ‘analytic algebra’. By this we mean the topological theories of Noetherian rings that arise when one uses ideals to define neighbourhoods; this includes, for instance, the theory of power-series rings and of local rings. In the present paper some applications are made of this kind of algebra to some problems connected with the notion of a branch of a variety at a point.

AbstractBased on the ongoing techniques among control theory, communication networks, and sensor design, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unmanned undersea vehicles (UUVs) and unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) are experiencing rapid development. Research on these unmanned systems and those intelligent sectors inside has absorbed interests and investments from not only military but also civil organizations. The well-applied fields include surveillance and reconnaissance, surface warfare, antisubmarine warfare, mine countermeasures, oceanic environment monitoring, search and rescue, hydrographic survey, and so on. Comparing with those studies on UAVs and UUVs, the one focusing on USVs was started later and has been developed quickly in the past 20 years. Since 2013, USV has advanced considerably in China, particularly in the marine survey field. Owing to its characteristics of light-weighting, intelligence, and unmanned operations, USV is attractive for shallow water, extreme environments, and marine accidents. This paper comprehensively summarizes the recent progress of the marine survey USV in China. The structure of the paper is divided into three parts. First, we briefly recall the developing history and introduce several excellent USVs of China in recent years. The marine survey USVs invested by the State Oceanic Administration (SOA) are then summarized in the next section, along with the details of hydrographic survey in the South China Sea, Antarctic marine survey, and oil spill emergency response. Finally, the paper points out current deficiencies and future directions of the potential technique.

ABSTRACTSilicon carbide has long been a promising material for semiconductor applications in high-temperature environments. Although silicon carbide radiation detectors were demonstrated more than a half century ago, the unavailability of high-quality materials and device manufacturing techniques hindered further development until about twenty years ago. In the late twentieth century, the development of advanced SiC crystal growth and epitaxial chemical vapor deposition methods spurred rapid development of silicon carbide charged particle, X-ray and neutron detectors. The history and status of silicon carbide radiation detectors as well as the influence of materials and device packaging limitations on future detector development will be discussed. Specific silicon carbide materials development needs will be identified.

In recent decades, C–H borylation has undergone rapid development and has become one of the most important and efficient methods for the synthesis of organoboron compounds. Although transition-metal catalysis dominates C–H borylation, the metal-free approach has emerged as a promising alternative strategy. This article briefly summarizes the history of metal-free aromatic C–H borylation, including early reports on electrophilic C–H borylation and recent progress in metal-free catalytic intermolecular C–H borylation; it also highlights our recent work on BF3·Et2O-catalyzed C2–H borylation of hetarenes. Despite these recent advances, comprehensive mechanistic studies on various metal-free catalytic aromatic C–H borylations and novel processes with a wider substrate scope are eagerly expected in the near future.

Laser induced fluorescence (LIF) detection technique is one of the most sensitive detection method in micro total analytical systems (μTAS) as its good monochromaticity, strong collimation and high optical density. It is widely used in biochemical analysis systems and the detection limit could reach 10-9-10-12mol/L. Due to the important role in μTAS, different optical structure arrangements of LIF detection techniques were continuously developed. We reviewed the recent progress of the optical structure arrangement and the applications of the LIF detection techniques.

The introduction of alien species to New Zealand's terrestrial ecosystems has caused rapid loss of native biodiversity since human settlement. Faced with this crisis, conservation managers and scientists have responded by developing innovative techniques such as translocation of native animals and the eradication of introduced mammals from islands. We review recent progress with conservation of New Zealand's terrestrial flora and fauna (especially birds) and consider future prospects for ecological restoration of islands and mainland areas. We stress the value of linking species and ecosystem approaches to conservation and we reinforce the importance of maintaining a dynamic partnership between researchers and conservation managers in the development of conservation initiatives.

Abstract With the rapid development of Internet and electronic technology, the Internet of things (hereinafter referred to as IOT) has become an important way of many intelligent devices, which can improve people’s application of intelligent devices. Through the IOT, we can carry out the research on the centralized monitoring system of central air conditioning [1]. Through the IOT, we can realize the IOT of indoor and outdoor units of central air conditioning, which can realize the important application of practical engineering projects. Through fuzzy algorithm, this paper can improve the overall improvement of the project. Through the cooperation of MCU and GPRS module, we can complete the wireless transmission of data., This can realize computer terminal monitoring and mobile terminal monitoring. Through engineering application, we can realize the automation and information integration of system monitoring, which will greatly improve the monitoring efficiency. Through the development of acquisition device, we can improve the comfort and security of central air conditioning, which will enhance the communication between the physical equipment of the system and the upper server network. Firstly, this paper analyzes the flow of fuzzy PID algorithm. Then, this paper specifies the system diagram of the central air conditioning control acquisition system [2]. Finally, this paper puts forward the important work of system acquisition.

In recent years, perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have experienced rapid development and have presented an excellent commercial prospect as the PSCs are made from raw materials that are readily and cheaply available depending on simple manufacturing techniques. However, the commercial production and utilization of PSCs remain immature, leading to substantial efforts needed to boost the development of scalable fabrication of PSCs, pilot scale tests, and the establishment of industrial production lines. In this way, the PSCs are expected to be successfully popularized from the laboratory to the photovoltaic market. In this review, the history of power conversion efficiency (PCE) for laboratory-scale PSCs is firstly introduced, and then some methods for maintaining high PCE in the upscaling process is displayed. The achievements in the stability and environmental friendliness of PSCs are also summarized because they are also of significance for commercialization. Finally, this review evaluates the commercialization prospects of PSCs from the economic view and provides a short outlook.
