The collaboration between renewable energy (RE) and an electric vehicles battery switch station (BSS) is a win-win strategy for both. In order to effectively coordinate and manage RE and BSS belonging to different investors, a new cooperative operation mode considering a multi-stakeholder scenario is proposed. By analyzing the relationship of cooperation and competition between them, their pursuit of maximizing their own interests is modeled as a Stackelberg game model. As the leader, the RE company determines the charge/discharge prices to guide the demand response of BSS. As the follower, the BSS optimizes its charge/discharge strategy according to the prices to maximize its own profits. The proposed model no longer requires that the RE company and BSS belong to a same interest subject, and there is no need for unified coordinated control between them. To solve the game equilibrium, a solution combining the backward-induction method and genetic algorithm is proposed by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of the strong and weak Stackelberg equilibriums. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed model was validated by case studies. The simulation results show that both the RE company and the BSS have the motivation to participate in the game, and that a win-win outcome can be achieved automatically in the process of pursuing their own interest maximization in the game.

This paper proposes a novel multi-radius density clustering algorithm based on outlier factor. The algorithm first calculates the density-similar-neighbor-based outlier factor (DSNOF) for each point in the dataset according to the relationship of the density of the point and its neighbors, and then treats the point whose DSNOF is smaller than 1 as a core point. Second, the core points are used for clustering by the similar process of the density based spatial clustering application with noise (DBSCAN) to get some sub-clusters. Third, the proposed algorithm merges the obtained sub-clusters into some clusters. Finally, the points whose DSNOF are larger than 1 are assigned into these clusters. Experiments are performed on some real datasets of the UCI Machine Learning Repository and the experiments results verify that the effectiveness of the proposed model is higher than the DBSCAN algorithm and k-means algorithm and would not be affected by the parameter greatly.

Conductive fabrics usually exhibit two types of electrical resistance: the length-related resistance and contact resistance. The length-related resistance increases with the applied extensile force, whereas the contact resistance decreases with the contact force. The resistance of conductive knitted fabrics could be modeled by the superposition of the length-related resistance and contact resistance. Three experiments were conducted to investigate the resistance of conductive yarns: two overlapped conduct yarns and conductive knitting stitches under unidirectional extensile forces, respectively; and the corresponding empirical equations were developed. The relationship of the resistance, tensile force, fabric length and width were established. The fitting curves with high coefficient of determinations (>0.94) and low standard errors (<0.18) given by the modeling equations were achieved. Therefore, the proposed model could be used to compute the resistance of the conductive knitting fabrics under unidirectional extension.

Two peptidoglycan-lytic enzyme activities were isolated from spores of Bacillus megaterium KM. Surface-bound lytic enzyme was extracted from dormant spores and hydrolysed a variety of peptidoglycan substrates including isolated spore cortex, but did not cause refractility changes in permeabilized spores. Germination-specific lytic enzyme activity appeared early in germination and had minimal activity on isolated peptidoglycan substrates, but caused refractility changes in permeabilized spores of several Bacillus isolated peptidoglycan substrates, but caused refractility changes in permeabilized spores of several Bacillus species. The germination-specific lytic enzyme was shown to be a heat-sensitive 29 kDa protein with maximal activity at pH 6.5. It catalysed post-commitment muramic acid delta-lactam synthesis and displayed an inhibitor profile similar to that for post-commitment A600 loss. The relationship of the germination-specific enzyme to a recently proposed model of spore germination is discussed.

The present study aimed to establish a theoretical model for the causal relationship between the three variables of study: self-confidence, psychological empowerment and job burnout; and then verify the validity of the proposed model by examining the direct and indirect impact of self-confidence on both psychological empowerment and job burnout; and determine the nature of the course of their relationship; and to see if self-confidence is mediator variable in the relationship of psychological empowerment and job burnout. The study sample consisted of (140) teachers from special needs teachers and used the following questionnaires: self-confidence, psychological empowerment and job burnout that prepared by the researcher. Results of the study indicate that there is a positive relationship between self-confidence and psychological empowerment, and a negative relation between self-confidence and job burnout, and a negative relationship between psychological empowerment and job burnout. Results of the regression analysis showed that self-confidence and psychological empowerment contribute to the prediction of job burnout, and the results of the study showed that self-confidence plays the role of the partial mediator variable in the relationship between psychological empowerment and job burnout among teachers of special education in Gaza governorates.

Core self-evaluations have predictive value for crucial work outcomes. However, less attention is given to examine the relationship between employee core self evaluations and employee engagement. Based on trait activation theory present study propose a research framework that examines the relationship of employee core self evaluations with employee engagement accompanied by organizational culture as a moderator. It was assumed that employees core self evaluation traits significantly interacts with their perception about the organizational culture and produce valuable work outcome like employee engagement.  Confirmatory factor analysis was performed to demonstrate validity and reliability of proposed model and structural equation modeling was used to examine hypothesized model. The proposed model was supported empirically by data collected from 537 employees working in different branches of Pakistan Telecommunication Company limited (PTCL). The result indicated core self evaluations of employees as predictor of their engagement levels, also innovative and supportive organizational culture were found to have positive moderating effect on the relationship of employee core self evaluations with employee engagement.

The breakneck pace of digital technologies has created a dramatic shift in marketing campaigns to engage users through unique and innovative experiences. Focusing on the same grounds, this study relates the market engagement with users’ loyalty (UL) for Facebook social media. Market engagement has been measured through four constructs of innovative engagement (IE), functional engagement (FE), emotional engagement (EE), and communal engagement (CE). Blogging has been included as a moderator in the relation between IE, FE, EE, CE, and UL. To measure these relationships, study proposed two models and developed five hypotheses. Data were collected through structured questionnaire aimed at referral groups i.e., habitual users of Facebook. A total of 309 responses were included in the analysis through purposive sampling. Model 1 was tested with simple regression and it was found that the overall model was statistically significant and explained 65 percent of variation in UL. It was concluded that for online users, loyalty is affected by IE, FE, and CE, while EE is of least concern for them. Model 2 was tested through hierarchical regression after the inclusion of a moderator of BE in model 1. It was concluded that blogging acted as a partial moderator in between the relationship of IE, FE, EE, CE, and UL as the proposed model 2 was found to be significant. However, only CE yielded significant relationship with UL while IE, FE, and EE yielded insignificant relationship with UL in the presence of a moderator. The study concedes new insights for those social platforms and marketing companies that are seeking innovative and unique ways to retain their online users for long time.

Abstract A microgrid with parallel structure operating under islanded mode is considered in this paper. Under microgrid islanded operation mode, lines bring adverse effect for power distribution between microsources (MSs). Because traditional droop control ignores this effect, MSs adopting this method can not achieve satisfactory power distribution. A kind of droop control including line compensation applied to this microgrid is proposed. It can eliminate this effect to obtain satisfactory power distribution. The relationship of two kinds of droop control with power distribution is analyzed. The reference voltage generated by droop control is applied to control output voltage of MSs. Comparison of two kinds of droop control through MATLAB/Simulink simulation is made to verify the superiority of droop control including line compensation for power distribution. The relationship between PCC voltage and output power of MSs is also presented.
