One of the main threats to ecological safety is the increased emissions of greenhouse gases. Promoting the purchase of electric vehicles and increasing their share among all cars in a given country can be considered as activities reducing the emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere. Based on Environmental Performance Index, in 2021, Poland is in 37th place among the most climate-friendly countries in the world, and 30th among similar countries in Europe. The aim of the article was to model the prices of electric vehicles as one of the elements of promoting climate security in Poland. For the purposes of the study, an analysis of data from electric vehicle sales advertisements on one of the Polish automotive services was carried out. Moreover, on this basis, the most important factors influencing the price of the vehicle were analyzed. For this purpose, forecasting models were built based on neural networks and selected models of decision trees based on the CART algorithm, boosted trees, and random forest. We assessed the developed models and compared their prognostic abilities.

This overview article shows the advantages of a modern electric car as compared with internal combustion cars by the example of the electric vehicles of Tesla Motors Company. It (в смысле- статья) describes the history of this firm, provides technical and tactical characteristics of three modifications of electric vehicles produced by Tesla Motors. Modern electric cars are not less powerful than cars with combustion engines both in speed and acceleration amount. They are reliable, economical and safe in operation. With every year the maximum range of an electric car is increasing and its battery charging time is decreasing.Solving the problem of environmental safety, the governments of most countries are trying to encourage people to switch to electric cars by creating subsidy programs, lending and abolition of taxation. Therefore, the advent of an electric vehicle in all major cities of the world is inevitable.

THE PURPOSE. Charging infrastructure is one of the factors influencing the transition to electric vehicles, as the electric vehicles in operation are characterized by a small range and a long battery charge period. Today, the development of the charging infrastructure depends only on the networks of stationary charging stations, which also have disadvantages (high cost, lack of mobility, etc.). Therefore, the purpose of this work is to study the design features of mobile electric vehicle charge units (MCSEU) for the development of draft design documentation for the creation of a new MCSEU project. This issue includes the study of the world market of manufacturers of modern mobile chargers, the study of technical and operational features that are today presented to modern energy storage and storage systems.MATERIALS. The authors of the article processed and analyzed data on the current state of the charging infrastructure in Russia and the world, based on materials from Russian and foreign authors, as well as information on the development strategy of the electric transport industry in Russia and the world, in particular, data from Madison Gas and Electric.RESULTS. The obtained analytical results are one of the aspects that will be taken into account when developing mobile charging devices for electric vehicles. This mobile charger technology significantly expands the possibilities of using electric vehicles, in particular electric vehicles, and also solves various problems of the fuel and energy complex associated with autonomous power sources and distributed generation systems.CONCLUSION. The charging infrastructure is one of the factors influencing the transition to electric vehicles, as the electric vehicles in operation are characterized by a small range and a long period of charging the traction battery. However, this process will be long and in the near future networks of charging stations will be created, including mobile charging units for electric vehicles.

According to the Environmental Performance Index (EPI), Indonesia is listed at 133, from 180 countries in the world. The Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic Indonesia has established a company performance rating, namely, PROPER, whose assessment aspect is almost equal to EPI such as environmental permits, water and air pollution, and waste management. The purpose of this research is to see the effect of profitability, solvency, and liquidity toward firm value with PROPER rating as a moderation variable. Research was conducted over 45 companies in Indonesia from 2015-2019 using multiple regression analysis. The results showed profitability and solvency had positive significant effect on the firm value. Meanwhile, liquidity had negative significant effect towards firm value. PROPER rating positively moderates the effect of profitability and solvency on firm performance. However, it negatively moderates the effect of liquidity towards firm value.

Introduction. Modern world development is being influenced by global processes, which reflect the specifics and directions of its functioning. First and foremost, it is a matter of interconnecting the interests of the world community to achieve common goals of economic, political, environmental, social, and cultural development. The discrepancy between the system of economic activity and the ecological capabilities of the world requires justification of such implementation directions on a global scale, which would take into account the need to ensure the rational development of the ecological component of this process. The current crisis is the result of modern industrial civilization, which, unfortunately, does not guarantee humanity a decent eco-future and the prospect of self-preservation of the ecosystem and reproduction of resources, taking into account the needs of future generations in a planetary dimension. Purpose. This research was conducted to investigate and identify the relationship between ‘greening’ and economic development. The article traces the dependence of the Gini index on the Environmental Performance Index. It is proved that the natural environment not only influences, but is crucial for social life. Methods. Research methods that examine and investigate the problem of environmentalism and economic development are an analysis of their relationship; comparison to describe the Gini coefficient and income inequality; statistical for the calculation of the interdependence between EPI and NIGI. Results. The results show that the lower the Environmental Performance Index is, the worse the situation is in the areas such as economic, environmental, social and others. Consequently, globalization has a statistically significant impact on economic growth. High- and middle-income countries benefit from globalization, while low-income countries do not. Discussion. In fact, countries must receive an adequate level of income to benefit from globalization and ecologization. Globalization processes are making adjustments to global economic growth and, accordingly, to global economic development. Not only does globalization directly contribute to economic growth, but it also indirectly does so through various additional reforms.

The article deals with the decision problems of estimating the energy expenditure of low-emission fleets in urban service companies due to environmental safety. One of the most important problems of today’s transport policy of many city authorities is the ecological safety of its inhabitants. The basic measures are aimed at banning high-emission vehicles from city centers and promoting the introduction of zero-emission vehicles, such as electric or hybrid cars. The authors proposed an original approach to the decision model, in which the energy expenditure from the use of electric vehicles was defined as a criterion function. The boundary conditions took into account limitations typical of an electric vehicle, e.g., maximum range or battery charging time. To solve the problem, the authors proposed an efficient hybrid algorithm based on ant colony algorithm and genetic algorithm. The verification was made for the example of a utility company serving a medium-sized city in the eastern part of Poland.

Universities around the world have faced a new pandemic, forcing the closure of campuses that are now conducting educational activities on online platforms. The paper presents a survey about students behavior and attitudes towards online education in the pandemic period from the Technical University of Cluj Napoca, Romania. A group of 300 students participated. The questionnaire was structured in four parts to determine student’s individual characteristics, student’s needs, students’ knowledge in using virtual platforms and students’ quality preferences for online education. The students said that online education in a pandemic situation is beneficial for 78% of them. A total of 41.7% percent of students appreciated the teachers’ teaching skills and the quality of online courses since the beginning of the pandemic, and 18.7% percent of the students appreciated the additional online materials for study to support their education. However, students found online education stressful, but preferred online assessment for evaluation. This pandemic has led to the new stage of Education 4.0, online education, and the need to harmonize methods of education with the requirements of new generations.
