In order to evaluate the sensory perceptions of users who visited a train station, this study aimed to conduct an evaluation of their spatial emotions and identify the distance and type of transfer. For evaluation and verification, emotional recognition and wayfinding types were analyzed according to types in the groups (gender, age, and spatial familiarity) of experimental participants. There were two research questions: “Will the length of movement patterns in the experiment environment vary depending on the types of the participant group?” and “Is there any moderating effect in the interaction between spatial familiarity and the types of the participant groups?” A total of 28 participants were recruited with consideration of gender, age, and familiarity with spatial experience, which were used to analyze the participant groups. The experiment was conducted at a train station, and a vignette was presented to the participants to record the route and pattern of their wayfinding, followed by providing a questionnaire to record their spatial perception. SPSS was used to conduct a T-test, factor analysis, and multidimensional scaling (MDS). The differences in spatial perception were arranged in visual positioning based on emotional vocabulary, and average movement distances in the participant groups were compared in accordance with the type of wayfinding and interaction effect by ANOVA. The results showed that there was a difference in spatial perception depending on the negative emotional vocabulary and type of participant. An emotional positioning map for average comparison was prepared for each participant group (gender, age, and spatial familiarity) by using the factors extracted in the factor analysis (emotional factor, management factor, and aesthetic factor). Female and unfamiliar groups displayed negative results in the emotional factor (F = 7.202, p < 0.05). In addition, male and familiar groups displayed negative results in the management factor (F = 3.058, p < 0.10). In wayfinding, there was an interaction between gender and the resident group based on the status of their spatial familiarity. Through this, it was possible to extract negative emotional evaluations according to the type of participant and the interaction factors for the type and length of the wayfinding.

Background: Depression is a state of psychological disease that occurs to someone divers in age due to certain reasons. Among the factors include lack of self-confidence, problematic family, stress, low self-esteem and social environment. It could lead to a mental disorder that endangers the mental health. Aim: To investigate the status of children depression using the Children Depression Inventory (CDI) at 21 shelter care institutions in Terengganu Malaysia. Methodology: Quantitative research design was used. The sample consists of 404 respondents from 21 Islamic shelter cares such as Tahfiz, Madrasah and Orphanage in Terengganu Malaysia from the age of 10 to 18 years. Data was analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and Discriminant Analysis (DA) which then computed to identify the most dominant factors whereas reducing the initial five parameters with recommended >0.50 of factor loading. Results: Forward stepwise of DA shows the total of groups validation percentage by 92.08% (17 independent). The result showed that the highest frequency of respondent index was at a moderate level (62.87% respondents). This showed that children still can be controlled and cared to reduce depression. Keywords: Children Depression Index, Depression, Children, Institution, Shelter Care

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to analyze the status of the implementation of ISO 22000 in the food industry in Spain. The study identifies the main difficulties faced by firms during the adoption process, the benefits obtained, and the most influential benefits on firms overall satisfaction with ISO 22000. Design/methodology/approach – A questionnaire was developed to identify the difficulties and benefits for ISO 22000 implementation. Data were collected among 189 Spanish certified firms. Factor analysis and multiple linear regression were used. Findings – ISO 22000 is used by firms operating in all links of the food chain (FC). Size of the firm is not a factor that determines its implementation. Exporter firms are more attracted to ISO 22000 certification. All sample firms experienced difficulties throughout the implementation process, being those related with time and money the most relevant. The benefits which most contributed to the firms’ satisfaction were internal in nature, in particular, those related to improved efficiency and food safety. Practical implications – Despite the many difficulties, both material and organizational, that sample firms experienced in implementing ISO 22000, and the complexity of the standard, the overall satisfaction is high. Originality/value – The sample analyzed comprised certified firms, including representatives of all links in the FC from farm to table. Prior research specifically aimed at analyzing ISO 22000 implementation and its benefits is very scarce.

The current research examined student perceptions of advisors in an effort to more fully understand the dimensions that students use when evaluating advisors. Factor analysis of a 63-item structured questionnaire from a sample of 224 traditional-age college students revealed four primary factors and three secondary factors. The primary factors consisted of Socio-emotional Orientation, Meeting Dynamics, Knowledge, and global Problem dimensions. A secondary factor analysis of the Socio-emotional factor yielded three subfactors: Academic Caring, Personal Caring, and Good Person. Advisors and students who are aware of this structure can discuss these dimensions and emphasize behaviors that are closely related to advising performance. Finally, the authors suggest that this schematic structure be taken into account when developing advising assessment instruments.

This search aims to study the extent to which Psychological Contract Breach affects and produces Emotional Exhaustion amongst employees through the emergence of a state of procrastination at the level of a sample of daily wage employees in the Colleges of Karbala University in Iraq. The study adopted the measures devised by Suazo (2009) to measure the Psychological Contract Breach and Violation, Strunk et al. (2013) to measure Job Procrastination, and Lewin and Sager (2009) to measure Emotional Exhaustion. The study’s sample consisted of 309 individuals. Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Multiple Regression, and path analysis were used to test the hypotheses, and a number of conclusions were reached. Most importantly, the feeling among employees of Psychological Contract Breach, in turn leading to an increase in their levels of emotional exhaustion, has been explained in detail with the identification of the most important treatments to reduce Psychological Contract Breach in order to reduce the negative results arising from it.

Purpose: The integrated management system concept has  been installed recently in Algerian companies. A theoretical model is proposed which is based on a functional analysis of the systemic approach. This model is a cycle of seven requirements (organization context, leadership, planning, support, implementation of operational activities, performance evaluation and improvement), in addition to the inputs and outputs. The purpose of this article is to investigate the current status of integrated management system and test its performance in Algerian CompaniesDesign/methodology/approach: In order to achieve this objective, a survey based on 250 companies, only 115 of them responded to the survey where half of them are implementing IMS. A descriptive and an exploratory factor analysis (EFA) are provided. Additionally, the confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) the correlation and the regression analyzeFindings: From the results, the research reflects the status of IMS in Algeria. The findings suggest that the Algerian company have difficult to implementing the IMS.  Research limitations/implications: One of the major limitations of this study is the small simple size, which precludes generalization of the findings. This study provides a starting point for further research in developing countries.Originality/value: This paper offers  first key insights into IMS implementation in Algeria. This will encourage these organizations and developed countries in adopt IMS.

The Cognitive Fusion Questionnaire (CFQ) was developed to measure excessive attachment to the literal content of human thought that makes healthy psychological flexibility difficult or impossible. In this study our aim was to examine the psychometric properties of a Korean version of the CFQ (K-CFQ). Our participants were 410 students (n = 209 for sample 1, n = 201 for sample 2) at a university located in Daejeon, South Korea. Exploratory factor analysis provided support for the same unifactor structure for the measure that had been validated for the original CFQ. Confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated the adequacy of the unifactor structure of the K-CFQ. The K-CFQ was significantly negatively correlated with psychological flexibility, mindfulness, and quality of life among our participant group and significantly positively correlated with anxiety and depression. Our results supported the reliability and construct and criterion validity of the K-CFQ for assessing cognitive fusion in a Korean college sample.

With individuals of mixed African heritage increasingly identifying as Biracial, it is important to determine whether Black people continue to perceive Biracial people as members of their community. The status of Biracial individuals within the Black community has implications for the political power of the Black community and also for Biracial individuals’ racial identity development and well-being. Thus, the purpose of this study was to create a psychometrically sound measure to assess the degree to which Black people accept Biracial people as members of the Black community: the Biracial Group Membership Scale. Factor analyses were conducted with 328 Black adults. Exploratory factor analysis revealed two factors: Rejection of Biracial People and Forced Black Identity. A confirmatory factor analysis provided support for the initial factor structure. The scale related to the Attitudes Toward Multiracial Children Scale, essentialism, and items assessing interactions with Biracial individuals. Limitations, suggestions for future research, and implications are discussed.
