Abstract: The effect of population growth on urban housing is a global challenge but the worst examples are found in the developing world which has led to an increased growth of poorly planned cities in the developing world, and loss of aesthetics. The aim of this research is to assess the level of population pressure on urban housing within Ngwa Road, Ohanku and Obohia environs in Aba South local government area in Abia State. The research evaluated housing demand and supply in the area, condition of houses in the area, factors encouraging population growth in the study area and level of compliance of buildings with town planning laws. The study area has an estimated 2021 population of 138017 as projected from 88,951 in 2016 with a growth rate of 2.94%. The research data was collected through household survey, Aba South Town Planning Authority, National Population Commission and the Aba South Street Naming and House Numbering Office. The simple random sampling technique and the purposive sampling technique were employed by the researcher with a sample size of 399.9 at 0.05 confidence level which was determined using the Taro Yamane method for sample size collection. The Principle Component Analysis (PCA), Principle Component Regression (PCR), standard deviation, weighted mean, percentages/proportions to analyze the data collected. The Principal Component Analysis result showed that component I have the highest loading with eigen value of 6.721 while component II has an eigen value of 3.279. The result showed that ease of access to commercial activities and educational level of heads of households are major factors encouraging population growth in the study area. The research revealed a housing demand and supply cluster estimate of 60.11% which was not considered statistically high. The average response of 93.2% is that houses in the study area are in a poor condition. The Aba South town planning authority revealed a 0.741 standard deviation which shows a high level of non-compliance with town planning laws. The research hypothesis was tested using Spearman Rank Correlation test at 0.05 level of confidence and the null hypothesis was accepted. Looking at the Land-UseLand-Cover images of the area obtained for 3 epochs from 1980-2020, the study area experienced an major growth in rate of housing stock after year 2000 and with increasing population growth, the area may soon be unable to carry the population that will be found there. This research calls the attention of the Abia State government in particular and the federal government in general to address these challenges through recommended public-private partnership and decentralization of pull factors. These recommendat

The challenges of assessing teamwork competency, which internal structures can be multidimensional and complex. It is necessary to assess of the teamwork competency as unidimensional or multidimensional structures and perform assessments in a variety of ways to ensure accuracy and accuracy from the assessment. The research objectives were to assess the dimension of students’ teamwork competencies and to assess students’ teamwork competencies using mixed methods assessment. Participants were 385 students in advanced professional innovation scholarship undergoing empowerment process for dimensional and quantitative assessment, 10 experts panel for setting cut-off score of assessment criteria, and 40 students for qualitative assessment. Research instrumentations were teamwork competency self-assessment digital form, the setting questionnaire of the cut-off score of assessment criteria for expert judgment, and an interview form for qualitative assessment. Data were analysed by mean, standard deviation, Eigen value, one-way multivariate analysis of variance (one-way MANOVA), thematic analysis. Research results found that: The teamwork competencies were appropriate for multi-dimension assessment, the ratio between the Eigen value of factor 1 toward the Eigen value of factor 2 was equal to 1.078. Quantitative assessment of teamwork competencies, Building a team relationship (BTR) at high to a very high level, participation in a team exchange (PTE) at a high level, adapting and creating a team atmosphere (ACT) at a very high level, and supporting a team (STE) high to a very high level. In addition, the main effect (region) on BTR and STE, the results showed that there were statistically significant region differences with small to moderate effect size, but on PTE and ACT, the results showed that there were no statistically significant region differences. Qualitative assessment of students’ perspective reflects the reasons for the teamwork competencies found that significant of building a team relationship comprised nineteen-theme (Priority three: Make a success of the team, good working friendship, and it's easy to build harmony and grouping with friends) and significant of supporting a team comprised six-theme Priority three: Reduce conflicts, Strengthen teamwork, and Make it work better). The quantitative assessment of teamwork competencies reflects to appropriate for multi-dimension assessment, and the qualitative assessments also support the explanation of teamwork competencies with multidimensional characteristics of students.

Abstract In this work, we have investigated the influences of magnetic island (MI) on electrostatic toroidal ion temperature gradient (ITG) mode, where the ions are described by gyro-kinetic equations including MI, and adiabatic approximation is used for electrons. The eigen-equation for short-wavelength toroidal ITG mode in Fourier-ballooning representation is derived, and the corresponding eigen-value as well as mode structure are solved. Both the flattening effects of MI on plasma pressure and MI-scale shear flow are considered. It is found that when only considering the flattening effects of MI, ITG mode can be stabilized as compared to the case without MI. While, the effective drive of toroidal ITG mode could be enhanced by including MI-scale flow, which indicates the dominant destabilizing by MI-scale flow over the stabilizing by flattening profile and results in higher growth rate than the case without MI. It is also found that the total flow shearing may prevent the ITG turbulence spreading from X-point of MI but not strong enough to prevent spreading from the seperatrix across O-point of larger MI via comparison between the flow shearing rate and the linear growth rate. Furthermore, the corresponding width of lowest-order mode structure in ballooning angle is slightly widened (narrowed) for the case without (with) MI-scale flow, as compared to the case without MI. Besides, the shifted even symmetry in ballooning angle is not qualitatively influenced by the presence of MI. The mode structure is radially asymmetric, but is symmetric with respect to the phase of MI at the O-point.

The phenomenon of considering the potential for zakat mal with the amount of zakat paid by the obligatory zakat is a consequence of various factors. The causes of the insignificance of zakat realization with the existing zakat potential, namely: low understanding and awareness of Muslims about the obligation to pay zakat, reluctance to pay zakat to zakat institutions because they prefer to pay zakat directly to those who are entitled, and are reluctant to pay zakat to zakat institutions because they do not experience the pleasure and benefits immediately. This study aims to see what factors and the most dominant factors influence Muzaki's decision to pay zakat at LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo. This type of research is quantitative with a sample of 100 Muzaki from a population of 2,339 Muzaki who pays zakat at LAZNAS Yatim Mandiri Ponorogo, using probability sampling techniques and sampling methods, namely simple random sampling. Data analysis used validity and reliability tests, test tests and tests with factor analysis. The results of this study there are 8 factors that influence Muzaki's decision to pay zakat, namely the factor of religiosity, image of service quality institutions, income, worship, reliability and responsiveness, occupation or position, factors of empathy. The factor that most influenced Muzaki's decision was the religiosity factor which consisted of 6 variables and had the highest Eigen value, namely 4.669

Essential tremors (ET) are slow progressive neurological disorder that reduces muscular movements and involuntary muscular contractions. The further complications of ET may lead to Parkinson’s disease and therefore it is very crucial to identify at the early onset. This research study deals with the identification of the presence of ET from the EMG of the patient by using power spectral density (PSD) features. Several PSD estimation methods such as Welch, Yule Walker, covariance, modified covariance, Eigen Vector based on Eigen value and MUSIC, and Thompson Multitaper are employed and are then classified using a recurrent feedback Elman neural network (RFBEN). It is observed from the experimental results that the MUSIC method of estimating the PSD of the EMG along with RFBEN classifier yields a classification accuracy of 99.81%. It can be concluded that the proposed approach demonstrates the possibility of developing automated computer aided diagnostic tool for early detection of Essential tremors.

Abstract We construct the most general theory of 2D Einstein-dilaton gravity coupled with U(1) gauge fields that contains all the 2-derivative and the 4-derivative interactions allowed by the diffeomorphism invariance. We renormalise the 2D action and obtain the vacuum solution as well as the black hole solution. The vacuum solution in the UV is dominated by Lifshitz2 with dynamical exponent (z = $$ \frac{7}{3} $$ 7 3 ) while on the other hand, the spacetime curvature diverges as we move towards the deep IR limit. We calculate the holographic stress tensor and the central charge for the boundary theory. Our analysis shows that the central charge goes as the inverse power of the coupling associated to 4-derivative interactions. We also compute the Wald entropy for 2D black holes and interpret its near horizon divergence in terms of the density of states. We compare the Wald entropy with the Cardy formula and obtain the eigen value of Virasoro operator (L0) for our model. Finally, we explore the near horizon structure of 2D black holes and calculate the central charge corresponding to the CFT near horizon. We further show that the near horizon CFT may be recast as a 2D Liouville theory with higher derivative corrections. We study the Weyl invariance of this generalised Liouville theory and identify the Weyl anomaly associated to it. We also comment on the classical vacuum structure of the theory.

The present investigation was carried out in Kharif 2019 (July to November) to estimate the relative contribution of various traits for total genetic variability present in aromatic landraces by Principal Component Analysis. Here 90 aromatic rice landraces along with six check varieties were evaluated for 13 quantitative characters by Principal Component Analysis. Principal Component Analysis showed that, out of 13 quantitative characters studied, only five principal components (PCs) exhibited more than 1.00 eigen value and showed about 81.62% cumulative variability among the traits studied. Out of the five principal components exhibiting more than 1.00 eigen value PC1 had the highest variability (25.12%) followed by PC2 (21.8%). The first principal component PC1 was positively contributed mainly by two characters viz., Grain Length and 1000 grain weight. The second principal component PC2 was contributed mostly by three characters like grain yield plant-1, panicle weight and spikelet fertility percentage. The third principal component PC3 is positively associated with panicle weight, grain yield plant-1 and spikelet fertility percentage. The fourth principal component PC4 is positively associated with spikelet fertility percentage, Grain Length/ Breadth ratio and fertile grains panicle-1. The fifth principal component PC5 is positively associated with total grains per panicle-1, grain width and 1000 grain weight. All the principal components were showing positive contribution for yield and its attributing traits. These variations can be exploited in crop improvement programme for developing high yielding varieties.
