The importance of agricultural training courses and retraining of adults is due to the development of science and technology, as well as the need to change the type of activity. With all the variety of existing forms of training in professional agriculture for adults, the following can be noted: courses for beginning entrepreneurs and farmers; courses for working agribusiness entrepreneurs who want to improve their knowledge and increase productivity, increase sales and, as a result, the profitability of the economy in which they work; courses for potential agricultural workers designed to develop specific technical as well as workplace-specific skills; courses designed for those who want to improve their skills.

AbstractDemands for productivity are getting higher. The tight competition among retailers causes companies that do not have high productivity to compete. Quality of HR is the key to success. The purpose of the study was to obtain an explanation of the influence of work discipline and organizational climate on the work productivity of employees at PT. Surya Donasin Regional Office Cianjur, which numbered 59 employees randomly selected. The research method uses explanatory survey with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of the research that productivity as one of the keys to compete in the retail industry is determined by work discipline and organizational climate that supports work productivity. Labor productivity is determined by internal and external dynamics in the form of organizational climate. The managerial implication is that the lack of productivity over employees causes low company productivity. Increase productivity as an option to support work productivity.Keywords : Work discipline; organizational climate; productivity; retailer industry AbstrakTuntutan terhadap produktivitas semakin tinggi. Persaingan yang cukup ketat diantara perusahaan retailer menyebabkan perusahaan yang tidak memiliki produktivitas tinggi kalah bersaing. Kualitas SDM menjadi kunci keberhasilan. Tujuan penelitian untuk memperoleh penjelasan tentang pengaruh disiplin kerja dan iklim organisasi terhadap produktivitas kerja para pegawai di PT. Surya Donasin Regional Office Cianjur yang berjumlah 59 pegawai yang dipilih secara acak. Metode penelitian menggunakan survey explanatory dengan analisis regresi linear berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa produktivitas sebagai salah satu kunci untuk bersaing dalam industri retail ditentukan oleh disiplin kerja dan iklim organisasi yang mendukung produktivitas kerja. Produktivitas tenaga kerja ditentukan oleh dinamika internal dan eksternal berupa iklim organisasi. Implikasi manajerial adalah lemahnya produktivitas pegawai menyebabkan produktivitas perusahaan rendah. Meningkatkan produktivitas sebagai pilihan untuk mendukung produktivitas kerja.Kata Kunci: Disiplin kerja; iklim organisasi; produktivitas; industri retailer

Abstract Today, developments in science and technology have made people more sensitive to their surroundings, as well as to the problems and challenges that surround them or threaten their lives in the future. This change in the way people look at the problems and big challenges of life today has led them to increasingly use science and technology. Scientific and technological progress has enabled humans to solve challenges that were once thought insoluble. These problems often involve three main limiting factors: cost, time and the need to collect lots of data. Today, in most countries, a solution called ‘citizen science’ is used to solve these big problems and projects. Indeed, the main foundation of citizen science is that it is used to conduct extensive experiments by ‘citizen scientists’ in areas such as sampling and other time-consuming and costly activities. This chapter explains how, after an initial research plan is presented and has been evaluated, the decision is made by scientists whether or not to employ citizen scientists. In the next stages, described below, scientists attract volunteer citizens, then carefully plan the details of the subject and the relevant training and education needed to carry out the various stages of the research proposed. After completing these training courses, citizens scientists enter the stage of conducting experiments and collecting the required data. Finally, scientists analyze the information collected by scientists. The chapter describes this complete process, and supplies suitable examples.

The Hipgampra farmer group has Gambir farming land. The problems that occur in this farmer group have not had a press tool, usually, this farmer group rents gambir leaf processing equipment privately and must pay rent wages which are worth one-third of the proceeds of the sale. Through this service activity, the team wanted to overcome the problem by giving a press tool to process gambir leaves. The purpose of the implementation of this service activity is to provide a solution to the problems faced by gambier women in the process of pressing gambier leaves. The method of applying science and technology carried out in this activity is to provide introductory theories, demonstrations, and practices. The introductory theory is applicable, namely the introduction of tools, how to use them, their functions and application applications in the field. The realization of service to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Sutera Pesisir Selatan Subdistrict was held on October 6, 2018. The equipment that was handed over to the community of Kenagarian Lampanjang Subdistrict, Sutera in the form of a unit of a Gambir leaf impact system. Application of appropriate technology that is applied to gambir leaf processing must be adjusted to the productivity of harvested gambier leaves. The number of gambir leaves that can be harvested by gambier farmers will adjust the capacity of the gambir leaf press to be processed. The tool that is devoted to the community has a forging foundation that functions as a place for gambir leaves to be pressed and has a jack stand that will press the gambir leaves to the foundation so that the sap of gambier will come out.

The relevance of the chosen topic is the need to build a financial strategy of the company in the conditions of financial instability in the economy caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The article compares the results of the effectiveness of the actual implementation of the strategy of PJSC «KAMAZ» in 2015–2019 and plans to achieve key performance indicators of the financial strategy in 2020–2025, taking into account the current unstable financial situation in the economy. Much attention is paid to the analysis of the situation on the product sales market, the need to adjust the financial strategy taking into account the complex of anti-crisis measures to diversify activities, optimize costs, increase productivity, increase profit and profitability. The main risks of the company that the company may face in the conditions of financial instability are identified, and proposals are presented for a set of measures that it is advisable to apply as part of the anti-crisis transformation of the financial strategy of the automotive company PJSC «KAMAZ».

One of the technological components to attain soybean productivity increase is using a modern varieties. This research aims to evaluate the introduction of a new modern variety of soybean, such as Bromo variety, in Klego Subdistrict, Boyolali District, Central Java on first crop season 1998/1999 season. The objectives of the research were to know the effect of the introduction Bromo variety of soybean on soybean productivity, profit and employment, as well as to know the production efficiency.This research used a cross-sectional data of 50 sample farmers consisted of 25 Bromo variety farmers and 25 Local variety farmers. To know the effect of Bromo variety introduction on productivity, profit and employment, it was used regression analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. To test the production efficiency of inputs use was used allocative efficiency test.The results showed that Bromo variety introduction were able to increase productivity 501.71 kg/ha, to increase profit Rp 1,852,370/ha and to increase employment 14.25 mandays/ha. The allocative efficiency test showed that the farmers of Bromo variety and the farmers of Local variety hadn't allocated their inputs efficiently yet. To increase the soybean production, Bromo variety can be recommended

The study examined the contributions of adult vocational education programmes to community development in Gokana and Khana Local Government Areas of Rivers State. Adult Vocational education programmes as a practise, is an important element that should not lacking in the community; as the adults constitute the functional human element of the society. Four research questions were used to guide this study. The population of the study was 2822 consisting of members of the unions and associations, of which a sample of 1975 members were drawn from the population. The instrument for data collection was structured questionnaires and the collected data were analysed using simple frequency distributions and mean scores. The findings of the study revealed that adult vocational have contributed to the development of the communities, increase productivity, increase in family income, and self reliance. The study recommends that more vocational education centres should be in all the communities in Gokana and Khana, in order for everyone to benefit from the self-sustaining venture and the participants should adopt the method of each one, teach one.

The article discusses various approaches to the concept of labor potential. The analysis of the personnel development system is carried out as part of the search for optimal ways to unlock the labor potential in order to increase productivity. The article proves the need to work with personnel as the main factor of production for improving the efficiency of enterprises and organizations operating in various industries. Recommendations for improving the concept of labor potential are formed. Recommendations for improving the efficiency of staff development based on advanced training courses are given. Some aspects of the activities included in the personnel development system from the point of view of the formation of personnel potential are considered.
