In the article it was analyzed the essence of the concepts “readiness”, “activity”, “ecological activity” from the philosophical, psychological and pedagogical points of view. It was also underlined the significance the readiness of the pupils to the ecological activity for the Ukrainian educational system.  There were distinguished two approaches of the historical development of the concept “readiness”: personal and functional. The supporters of the first approach consider the readiness as disclosure of individual qualities of a person and its integrity caused by effective character of an activity with high results. The supporters of the second approach define readiness as certain state of the psychological functions of the person that is the condition of the high results during the performance of any activity. The concept “activity” was analyzed as well. The concept “activity” is defined as the activity of a person that is turned out in the system of actions directed to the achieving of certain goals.  The theoretical basics of the concept “ecological activity” were outlined. The author develops and specifies the definition of the concept “the readiness of the teenagers to the ecological activity”. It is based on the knowledge about the essence of ecological activity, emotional and valuable attitude to the process of ecological activity and the usage of received knowledge and skills in the ecological activity.

Interest in news literacy inside and outside the academy has grown alongside related concerns about the quality of news and information available. Attempts to fully define, explicate and operationalize news literacy, however, are scattered. Drawing on literature across journalism and mass communication, we propose a definition of news literacy that combines knowledge of news production, distribution and consumption with skills that help audiences assert control over their relationship with news. We propose that knowledge and skills should be conceptualized across five domains: context, creation, content, circulation and consumption. This explication offers a clear, concise and cohesive path for research about news literacy, especially empirical testing to evaluate news literacy and its effectiveness in contributing to relevant behaviours. This framework also offers a consistent, yet flexible, approach to measuring news literacy across diverse contexts.

The article is devoted to the definition of concept in modern linguistics. Various points of view and definitions of the basic concepts are considered: "concept", "conceptual sphere", "content". The aim of the article is to describe and explain such a complex unit as a concept from the point of view of linguistics. The object of research is studied in its various manifestations, the combination of verbal and nonverbal means of information expression in the conceptual sphere is revealed. the relevance of this topic is due to the need for a detailed consideration of the concept of concept based on the works of prominent scientists and linguists. Researchers treat the concept as a cognitive, psycholinguistic, linguocultural, cultural and linguistic phenomenon. The concept is an umbrella term because it "covers" the subject areas of several scientific fields: primarily cognitive psychology and cognitive linguistics.

В статье проанализированы имеющиеся в научной литературе точки зрения относительно понятия «личность преступника», представлена авторская дефиниция личности преступника, совершающего преступления в сфере незаконного оборота наркотиков с целью сбыта. Криминологическому анализу подвергнуты осужденные, отбывающие наказание в виде лишения за преступления, связанные с незаконным оборотом наркотиков, по ч. 2, 3 ст. 328 Уголовного кодекса Республики Беларусь. По результатам проведенного эмпирического исследования выявлены особенности социально-демографического, медицинского, уголовно-правового и нравственно-психологического характера, присущие осужденным указанной категории. Обосновывается необходимость осуществления сотрудниками исправительных учреждений постоянного мониторинга личностных качеств осужденных за преступления, связанные с незаконным оборотом наркотиков с целью сбыта, и выработки на этой основе наиболее оптимальных вариантов проведения с ними индивидуальной воспитательной работы. Представлена авторская разработка криминологической модели личности преступника, отбывающего наказание в виде лишения свободы за преступления, связанные с незаконным оборотом наркотиков с целью сбыта. The article analyzes the points of view of scientists regarding the concept of “the identity of the criminal”, presents the author’s definition of the identity of the criminal who commits crimes in the sphere of illicit drug trafficking with a view to marketing. Convicted prisoners who are serving a sentence of deprivation for crimes related to drug trafficking, according to the following parts, are subjected to criminological analysis. 2, 3 tbsp. 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus. According to the results of the empirical research, the peculiarities of the socio-demographic, medical, criminal law, and moral-psychological nature of the convicts of this category were revealed. It justifies the need for employees of correctional institutions to continuously monitor the personal qualities of those convicted of crimes related to drug trafficking with a view to selling, and to develop on this basis the most optimal options for carrying out individual educational work with them. The author presents the development of a criminological model of the identity of a criminal who is serving a sentence of imprisonment for crimes related to drug trafficking with a view to selling.

The use of renewable energies as alternative to fossil fuels has value from different points of view and has effects at environmental, social and economic level. These aspects are often connected to each other and together define the overall sustainability of bioenergy. At European level, the Directive 2009/28/EC gives the basic criteria for the estimation of sustainability of biofuels and indicates a minimum threshold of 35% of greenhouse gas saving for a biofuel in order to be considered sustainable. The Directive gives the possibility to identify standard regional values for the cultivation steps that could be utilized for the certification. This paper aims to give a contribution to the definition of these values considering the RED methodology applied to the sunflower cropped in central Italy which is characterized by a hilly landscape and not-irrigated crops. To determine input and output of sunflower cultivation in the central Italy, the results of PROBIO project, carried out by the Authors, were used. The sustainability of biodiesel produced from sunflower grown in central Italy is variable and depends on the nitrogen input and seasonal climatic conditions that affect the yields. The greenhouse gases savings of the Italian chain is 40% in average, greater than the required 35% and would be possible to assign this value as standard to the biofuel chain <em>biodiesel from sunflower cultivated in central Italy</em>. Using an averaged regional standard value guards against the possibility of considering unsustainable harvesting in unfavourable years and seeing it overestimated in the favourable ones.

Personality is something that attracts the attention of many parties. Many theories that try to give some concepts and definitions related to the human personality with different points of view. Western psychologists try to provide a definition of personality that is psychological based on the word person, but until now the personality psychologists themselves still do not agree on what the definition of personality actually is. While in Islam, the concept of personality has been thoroughly discussed in various Islamic literature. The Apostle as an example for Muslims has applied the concept of personality and actions and behavior. Thus, the concept of personality according to Islam, that Islamic personality is defined as "a unified integration of the workings of aqliyah and nafsiyah based on Islamic faith which gives birth to actions". Human personality is not shaped and influenced by body shape, face and other accessories. Human personality is formed by aqliyah and nafsiyah.

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar el currículo de la educación básica ecuatoriana considerando sus innovaciones, desde el punto de vista actual, con el fin de distinguir sus características, para ello, se examinaron los precedentes que han generado cambios al currículo, se contrastaron documentos curriculares: Actualización y Fortalecimiento Curricular de la Educación General Básica (Currículo 2010) y el Currículo de los Niveles de Educación Obligatoria (Currículo 2016) y se identificaron los puntos esenciales que han sido mejorados en el último currículo de este nivel educativo. La investigación se realizó mediante revisión bibliográfica de documentos informativos, legales y curriculares. Se han abordado temáticas como: la definición del currículo, el porqué de la denominación de Educación Básica, la evaluación y ajustes al currículo y los principales sustentos legales de este nivel educativo. Con base en el Currículo 2016 se determinaron sus principales cambios y características, así también la forma en que ha sido percibido desde la experiencia docente en el quehacer educativo. Se concluye que los cambios y ajustes que se apliquen al currículo en todo tiempo, deben responder a los intereses sociales de la población y el país, de esta forma la educación cumplirá su rol aportando a la solución de problemas y el mejoramiento del sistema educativo ecuatoriano. THE CURRICULUM OF ECUADORIAN BASIC EDUCATION: LOOK FROM THE PRESENT ABSTRACT The present paper is aimed to analyze the curriculum of Ecuadorian Basic Education considering its innovations from a current approach, in order to distinguish their characteristics. For it, precedents that generated changes to curriculum were examined, curricular documents were contrasted: Update and Curricular Strengthening of General Basic Education (Curriculum 2010), and Currículum of Levels of Compulsory Education (Currículum 2016), and the essential aspects that have been improved in the last curriculum of this educational level were identified. The investigation was conducted through bibliographic review of informative, legal and curricular documents. Thematics as: definition of curriculum, the reason of denomination of Basic Education, evaluation and adjustments to the curriculum, and the main legal underpinnings of this educational level. Based on the 2016 Curriculum, its main changes and characteristics were determined, as well the way it has been perceived from the teaching experience in the education daily work. It is concluded that the changes and adjustments that are applied to the curriculum at all times, must respond to the social interests of the population and the country, in this way education will fulfill its role contributing to the solution of problems and the improvement of the Ecuadorian educational system. In this article, we describe important aspects of slide shows in ten topics, which involve: (a) the definition of this artefact; (b) its characteristics, linked to its historical development; (c) some criticism and problems in its structure and use; (d) results of empirical research regarding its use in an educational context; and (e) recommendations for improved practices in designing slideshows. The source of data was extracted from a literature review of several articles and books mainly from the areas of Education, Management and Cognitive Psychology.

In the administrative and legal science there is a refinement, change and expansion of the subject of the dynamic branch of administrative law, aimed at eliminating the resulting lag of legal theory from the legal reality. In our view, of the three basic categories that characterize the subject of administrative law, “public administration”, “executive power” and “administrativepublic activity”, the main generalization category is the category “administrative and public activities”. The phenomenon of the subject of administrative law refracts the problems and discussions inherent in the industry as a whole. In view of the existence of different points of view on the subject of administrative law, the legal science has not yet formulated a single definition of it. There is a tendency to overcome the conflict between different types of understanding, to bring together the positions of different concepts of understanding of administrative law in order to form a “universal” concept of it, to develop its common concept.

The definition of international business is related to commercial transactions that occur across country borders. The exchange of goods and services among peoples and businesses is organized between multiple countries. The term is composed of two words; International has many meanings, among them external and global. The word Business has also various senses such as trade, transaction and commercial relations. This huge number of words and concepts describes the large field of affairs. International business means the exchange of goods, services, resources, knowledge and skills among other things between two or more firms and/ or countries. It can also denote the trade conducted across national boundaries for the profit of all parties connected on an industry. It refers to negotiated commerce and investment performed by firms across boarders functioning together at several levels.
