Entrepreneurship is one way that students do in order to develop their potential and overcome concerns about the work that will be obtained after graduating. Entrepreneurial activities are one of the most popular activities for students, but have many obstacles in their implementation. The purpose of this study was to determine the resilience ability of students. This research was conducted in Ketundan Village, Pakis District, using qualitative methods with a case study approach. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation. The research subjects were 4 students who had been self-employed for at least 6 months and involved 4 non-participants who were related to the subject as supporting informants in order to obtain valid information. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the dynamics of the ability of student resilience to entrepreneurship as a whole have this ability well, where this ability consists of emotional regulation, impulse control, optimism, empathy, problem cause analysis, self-efficacy, and achievement. Although not all subjects show excellent resilience by having the seven resilience components above, in fact entrepreneurship has been able to give confidence and optimism to students with less prominent achievements.

The grounds for disqualification of arbitrators provided by most arbitration rules refer to the relationships of arbitrators with the parties or the subject matter of the dispute – i.e., issue conflicts. However, some of those rules used to be vague or unclear, which resulted in incomplete arbitrators’ disclosures, unfunded challenge requests and awards that lacked homogeneity. Following a case-study research method, the paper focuses on the ICSID investor-State dispute settlement mechanism. It analyses and compares the ICSID Convention and Arbitration Rules, the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules and the IBA Guidelines on Conflicts of Interest in light of challenge awards. The paper stresses the relevance of arbitrators’ disclosure duty and the importance of clearly defining the scope and content of ‘impartiality’ and ‘independence’ as a guidance for parties and deciding authorities when raising or deciding upon a challenge request. In particular, the study aims to show how international investment arbitrations deal with issue conflicts as grounds for disqualification, by analyzing their main causes: multiple appointments of arbitrators, similar legal issues to be decided and permission to serve both as counsel and arbitrator.

AbstractMathematics has an important role in life. However, in the practice of learning some students still regard mathematics as a difficult subject. The evidence in the field shows that the geometry learning result is still low. Difficulties in geometrical matter can affect the difficulties of other parts of the material itself, since many of the subjects in the geometry are interconnected. This study aims to determine the factors causing student difficulties in the process of solving geometry problems based on the stages of thinking Van Hiele and to see students' achievement in understanding geometry based on the stages of thinking geometry Van Hiele. The research method used is qualitative research method with case study research type. Research subjects taken as many as 6 students from class VII C SMP Negeri 6 Garut. The results showed that students' achievement in the process of solving geometry problems based on the stage of thinking Van Hiele at most is at stage 0 (visualization). This is indicated by the high percentage of student achievement in the visualization stage that is as much as 96.87%. The achievement of the best stage of Van Hiele thinking was achieved at 3.13% in stage 1 (Analysis). For stage 2 (informal deduction) and stage 3 (deduction) no students have been able to reach that stage. Factors that cause student difficulties in rectangular material caused by several things, namely the understanding of the concept and the characteristics of the rectangle is lacking, previous understanding of the material wake rectangular flat that is still less strong, the lack of skills to use geometric ideas in solving math problems Relating to wake up quadrilateral, as well as class conditions that are less conducive to learning.Keyword: Student difficulties on geometry, Van Hiele thinking stages, Qualitative, Case Studies.

The study explores the impact of participatory systems on information quality using Abu Dhabi as a case study. Participatory systems are used for deciding social change to affect residents and citizens positively. The case study research method was used to examine information quality in a participatory system. Content of the participatory system was assessed for information quality and it was found to support theoretical claims that Abu Dhabi residents and citizens participate in building sustainable competition using participatory systems. The limitations of the study are found in its focus on a single application, the app CityGuard. Through examining the use of CityGuard, specific issues were recognized which allowed the definition of steps on how its use could impact social change more positively. This paper presents findings from the use of CityGuard as a public participatory tool.
