The most important obstacle today in learning Arabic is that the awareness of the importance of Arabic in students has not been fully formed. This fact occurs because Arabic learners and teachers, especially in Indonesia, are still trapped in policies (regulations regarding the continuity of learning in class, time and space issues), curriculum (objectives and boundaries of competence), and methodology (theories that must be put into practice). Coupled with the "image" and "mindset" that has been formed in society that Arabic is only the language of religion. Make students aware that Arabic is one of the international languages and it is useful in their world life. This problem is a fundamental problem which academics and Arabic language practitioners have to slowly resolve. The purpose of learning Arabic must be shifted from "teaching the language" to "teaching the language", teaching methodology must be "constructed" from practicing theory and curriculum to exploring potential and arousing student interest. With the application of Hipnoteaching values, it is hoped that teachers will be able to design Arabic language learning that is able to increase the potential, talents, and interests of students in Arabic. Hypnoteaching values according to the results of this study, it can be adopted in Arabic learning with the following concepts : 1) Place, Location and Arabic Study Room Setting, 2) Mental and psychological settings of Arabic teachers and students, 3) Early Learning Stimulus, 4) Setting communication styles in Arabic learning, 5) Enabling the class with practice is not just a transfer of knowledge or knowledge of Arabic, 6) Evaluation and 7) Closing Activities of Learning Arabic.

During the Soviet era, language teaching methodology in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) was premised on promoting a deep knowledge of a language's grammar and vocabulary. To this end, the selection of texts was centrally mandated, and teaching techniques and activities were carefully controlled and monitored. This rigorous approach to language teaching had both benefits and drawbacks for teachers and students. In response to the drawbacks of traditional Soviet methodology, some teachers and teacher trainers in former Soviet republics are currently promoting communicative language teaching, also known as the communicative approach. Communicative language teaching, as opposed to more traditional Soviet teaching methodology, emphasizes learning to use language to communicate rather than learning language solely as a linguistic system. However, the implementation of communicative language teaching has been problematic, for reasons ranging from government policies to teachers' beliefs and training to students' expectations. The purpose of this article is twofold. We first describe important characteristics of traditional Soviet language teaching methodology and the consequences of that methodology for language learning. Then, we explore the challenges of transforming traditional language teaching methodology (for the teaching of English as a foreign language, in particular) in post-Soviet republics, using Azerbaijan as a specific example.

In the learning process, the curriculum has a very important role, especially for teachers and students. Therefore, to make it easier to implement the curriculum, especially in learning the Arabic language, then it is divided into several systems. In the Arabic language learning, the curriculum system division is then called curriculum organization which consists of two systems i.e. Nazhariyatul Furu’ and Nazhariyatul Wahdah. Curriculum organization is a framework or pattern of the lessons arranged based on specific purposes of educational programs to achieve. In addition, the principle of curriculum organization is that it is arranged to facilitate the process of learning for teachers and students so as to achieve educational purposes effectively and optimally.

Growing numbers of teachers and students practicing theatre and drama techniques to boost language learning are convinced of the usefulness for the language learning process of improvising or enacting a script, of reinterpreting or faithfully performing a piece of literary drama. The latest findings in the field of neurosciences give a new and robust scaffolding to teachers’ general belief that drama activities boost language learning. It is argued that such expectations are well-rooted in language teaching methodology and that drama, theatre and the performing arts in general do offer a peculiar combination of benefits to foreign and second language learning, as exemplified by: 1) a paradigmatic case of cooperative learning, with naturally inbuilt roles; 2) an authentic reason for repetition and memorization, enriching rote with meaning and expression.Evidence resulting from neuroimaging research and developments of the discovery of mirror neurons and consequent hypotheses about the evolutionary path to the development of verbal language are reviewed to show ’hard science’ support to the beliefs gathered through praxis by teachers and students and to direct a specific focus on (the need for) the connection of body, voice, motion and emotion in (language) learning.
