Risk management within the microenterprise implies the identification of future impacts, as well as anticipating the negative impacts to face effects that make the production process impossible, so that from this, actions are designed to eliminate the possibility of the risk occurring . Hence the importance derives since with the design of prevention actions and with the implementation of this, by the workers themselves it is feasible to avoid its occurrence, in order to achieve safer work spaces. The research was carried out in a local carpentry workshop whose objective is: to design an Occupational Risk Prevention Plan. Method used: and carried out the risk assessment, key risk factors were identified, to later define the appropriate preventive measures and the management of the business training plan. This research contributed to the design of a plan fully adapted to the productive characteristics of the company, which responds to more specific situations and that can be implemented during the working day, to achieve the sustainability of the organization by obtaining workspace cleaner and safer.

Introduction. The work of many employees in the service sector is associated with a constant stay in a forced working position sitting at the computer for up to 60-80% of the time of the entire work shift, which leads to fatigue. The rate of fatigue depends on the specifics of work: it is much more likely to occur when working with monotony, muscle tension. An important role in the appearance of fatigue is also played by the attitude of a person to the work performed. The aim of study is to study the motor activity of knowledge workers in social service centers for the development of preventive measures aimed at reducing hypokinesia and hypodynamia during the work shift. Materials and methods. The following methods were used in the study: questionnaire and working day timing, calculation methods to determine whether the actual body weight corresponds to the ideal one using the Broka’s index and the Ketle’s index. The study involved employees of the integrated social service center "Raduga" in Bugulma. Results. An assessment of the motor activity of employees of the social service center of the population was made, and it was concluded that the problem of hypokinesia and hypodynamia is relevant and significant for employees of social service centers of the population both in their daily activities and during the work shift. Most of the employees showed an increase in actual body weight compared to the ideal one, which is to some extent due to hypokinesia and hypodynamia both during the working day and at home. Conclusions. Preventive measures aimed at compliance with the principles of rational nutrition and a healthy lifestyle, work and rest regimes, high-quality preliminary and periodic medical examinations are proposed.

The outbreak of COVID-19 in China at the beginning of 2020 has hit the catering companies hard. Many catering companies are facing the critical situation of large losses or even close down directly. Compared with large and medium-sized catering companies, the risk awareness and anti-risk ability of small catering companies are weaker. Their risk management is at a lower level and they do not pay much attention to risk prevention. By identifying and analyzing the risks faced by the small catering companies, this paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions with the hope to provide some reference for the risk management of the small catering companies and to strengthen its risk prevention ability.

The 21st century has been much associated with globalization and infrastructure booms. These factors have led to accelerated urban renewal projects, tailored to accommodate urban growth in many Countries. For Kenya, numerous urban renewal projects are in the pipeline, under the auspices of blueprints such as the Nairobi Urban Transport Master Plan (2014-2030). Recently, Kenya has also upgraded its land acquisition and displacement framework to manage development projects with enormous land acquisition, among other reasons. The framework apportions different entitlements to both formal and informal PAPs displaced by development projects. The question, however, is the effectiveness of the framework, as concerns economic displacement of vulnerable informal micro-enterprises. This paper is a culmination of research undertaken on the displaced informal micro-enterprises during the expansion of outer ring road in Nairobi, Kenya. A sample of 210 of the 615 displaced micro-enterprises was selected using systematic random sampling. Both quantitative and qualitative research techniques are utilized. Results indicate that even though the project had adequate income and livelihood restoration components, they were non-prioritized hence negative impacts and outcomes to the dislocated micro-enterprises. The major recommendation is that Kenya should adopt resettlement with development where resettlement is carried out as a separate development project lasting more than ten years. Also, the micro-enterprise and DIDR frameworks can be strategically linked to deliver synergetic outputs. The international finance Institutions such as World Bank can also assist in the highlighted aspects, during this period when they are fortifying Country systems for DIDR across the World.

AbstractThe increasing number of natural disasters requires the use of preventive measures. One of the elements is the inclusion of risk management in crisis management. On the basis of this observation, the research problem was formulated: “In the light of new challenges, should the crisis management system continue to be built on the theory of crisis within the security sciences, or should it be based on risk management developed in the area of management sciences?” In summary, the answer to the question was provided, and a new definition of the concept of “crisis management” was proposed.

Railway station is a comprehensive transportation hub. Its design and construction is far more complex than common public buildings, so as the construction management. This paper mainly explores the schedule risk management of railway station, including risk factors, risk indentation, risk evaluation and risk management. As many similar projects are under construction, Delphi technique method is most favorable for risk indentation. For risk evaluation, risk matrix method and CIM model are recommended to quantify the schedule risk. In the final part, the paper talks about the management of schedule risk. As schedule risk is abstract and its damage relatively slight, the risk prevention and mitigation are most suitable means.
