The Covid-19 pandemic is an unexpected pandemic. It is not only faced by the Malaysian community, but also the presence of the world. The spread of this epidemic is very fast and difficult to block. Almost most of all countries in the world are affected by its presence so that various sectors experience its fuel including in the field of education. To curb the spread of Covid-19, the Malaysian government has declared a Movement Control Order (MCO) from 18 March 2020 until now with the recovery phase being carried out and closing all sector operations including the education sector. Thus, this study aims to look at the resolution taken by the Ministry of Education (KPM) to ensure the continuity of education of students throughout the Movement Control Order (MCO). This study focuses on the analysis of The Ministry of Education Malaysia's Letter of Release (KPM) No. 3 of 2020 which is the guidelines for the implementation of Teaching and Learning during movement control order due to the spread of Covid-19 infection dated March 27, 2020. To ensure the continuity of education for students, KPM encourages all teachers to use the learning methods through the learning platform provided by MOE-DL and the appropriate online learning platform with the help of Information Technology. Although normal methods of teaching and facilitation (PdPc) occur in the classroom, in dealing with this virus the PdPc method needs to be changed in line with the 21st Century Learning (PAK21). With the help of this study, parents, students, and teachers were able to realize KPM's desire to keep the knowledge from stalling due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Based on the government's aspiration towards realizing the 21st century education (PA-21), the Ministry of Education (MOE) has listed 10 subthemes of the three skills that need to be mastered in teaching and learning namely learning and innovation skills, media and information technology skills, as well as life skills and careers. Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) took up the challenge of the MOE's aspiration by listing eight elements of the PA-21 based on the 21st century learning style of the US National Educator Association (NEA) such as critical, communication, collaborative and creativity. This article is an overview of 14 local studies findings that were published in journals and educational research proceedings in Malaysia from 2000 to 2017. All of these articles have discussed the feasibility of PA-21 at the public schools and universities. Findings from these studies show that local research more focuses on two domains of skills namely creativity and communication i.e. the use of information technology in teaching and learning. This review is empirically prove that teachers and students were able to implement PA-21 skills although the level of implementation was still at the early stage with the most basic method of use. However, the implementation of PA-21 from the perspectives and functions of MOE as the policy makers was not addressed in 14 analyzed articles.

Both academic institutions and schools were required to conduct online learning during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period. This study aims to identify Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Terengganu’s branch students’ perceptions of teaching and learning (T&L) during MCO. The preferred technology framework for T&L during the MCO period is also identified in this report. Furthermore, this study identifies the factors that influenced the choice of said application. The respondents were 256 UiTM Terengganu students from eight specialisations. Data were gathered through the use of online questionnaires administered through Google Forms. According to the findings, students had a generally positive attitude toward the online learning process but were less satisfied with its effectiveness. In terms of application selection, the university’s teaching and learning platform, Ufuture system, comes in first, followed by Google Classroom, Telegram, and WhatsApp. This study also discussed the strategies for improving the effectiveness of technology utilisation to optimise e-learning.

The implementation of Teaching and Learning from Home (PdPr) has been introduced by the Ministry of Education Malaysia (MOE) as an alternative to the new norms of learning and an approach implemented to replace the conventional face-to-face education system. This study aimed to identify the impact of the PdPr implementation on Malay language teachers during the period of the Movement Control Order (MCO). The impact was divided into three main constructs namely emotional, attitude and health. A qualitative survey was conducted involving 8 Malay language teachers. These teachers were both novice and experienced teachers from primary and secondary schools. The research instrument used was an interview. Interview data were analyzed thematically according to the questions provided. The results of the study found that the implementation of PdPr had the highest negative impact on teachers' attitudes followed by emotions and health levels. The main problems that led to the change in teacher attitudes were the difficulty of establishing two-way communication during the T&L, students not submitting assignments, and parental attitudes. The emotional stress aspect of teachers during PdPr was found to be due to the Ministry's ever-changing instructions while the health aspect was due to stress and depression due to the workload during the PdPr. It was also proposed that further studies be conducted on the initiatives to overcome the problems of Malay language teachers during the implementation of PdPr.

The way other beings see us is important. What would happen if we took the full measure of this idea? How would this affect our understanding of society, culture, and the world we inhabit? How would this affect our understanding of the human, since in this world beyond the human, we sometimes find things that we prefer to attribute only to ourselves? What impacts on education, learning, teaching? After having explored the field opened by these questions, we will bring an answer with a reinvention of the learning platform named KOALA (KnOwledge Aware Learning Assistant). The use of Information Technology (IT) has been growing over the years in various human endeavours. It has also been adopted in education sector for teaching and learning. Various studies have been conducted to assess the effectiveness and acceptance of e-learning strategy by students. In particular, the current research is an attempt to obtain students’ and instructor’s perspective on the use of Blackboard software. The technology is a course management system used in a blended learning mode to deliver a third year mechanical engineering course at the University of Botswana (UB). In terms of students’ views, the study covered a period of nine years and the questionnaire survey was administered to each succeeding cohort of students. Whereas in terms of the instructor’s perspective the motivation and the challenges faced during the years of use of the platform were described. Results indicate that students were generally comfortable with the use of Blackboard as they highly embraced it. Students indicate that their performance improved and communication with instructor was enhanced significantly. The respondents also recommended that Blackboard should be used in other courses in their programme of study. The instructor considered the time factor the most vital challenge related to the use of the platform. However, despite the challenges the application of the learning platform and the development of its material was a positive experience for the instructor and well received by the students.
