Research background and hypothesis. Modern training trend for biathletes is the increasing intensity of the training process in competition activities. Competition activities of elite biathletes while preparing for the main competition of the season have received little attention by researchers. Research hypotheses: The number of starts and sports results in the competitions before the main competition of the season for elite biathletes are related to sports results in the main competition of the season. Research  aim  was  to  analyse  the  interaction  of  biathletes’  sports  results  and  the  number  of  starts,  and  to establish the relation of this interaction between the results achieved in World Cup competitions and World Biathlon Championship.Research methods. The data have been retrieved from the documents of the International Biathlon Union (IBU): protocols of the World Biathlon Championship of 2011 and World Biathlon Cup competition. We analysed the sports results of female biathletes who took the 1 st –10 th  places in the World Biathlon Championship in individual events. Research results. World elite biathletes participated in E.ON and IBU category competitions 16.2 ± 3.74 times before the World Biathlon Championship. The number of starts correlates with the places taken by biathletes in the general account of the World Biathlon Cup before the world championship (r = –0.83). In the individual races in the World Championship, all medals were won by eight skiers, and five of them were among the first ten skiers in the general standing of World Cup competitions before the world championship.Discussion and conclusion. The preparation of elite biathletes for the most important competition of the season  – World Biathlon Championship is grounded on the repeated participation in the World Biathlon Cup competitions. Biathletes, taking the 1 st –10 th  places in the general account of the World Biathlon Cup, are real applicants for medals in the World Biathlon Championship. Keywords: number of starts, taken places, correlation, sprint, pursuit, mass start, individual start.

The aim of the study is to analyze the main results of optimization of the work of aviation medical brigades in a metropolis and the dynamics of typical reasons for refusal to use an ambulance helicopter. Materials and research methods. The article presents the characteristics of the BK-117C-2 (EC-145) helicopter used to deliver patients to a specialized medical organization. A retrospective analysis of all aviation medical brigades flights of the Scientific and Practical Center for Emergency Medical Aid of the Moscow Department of Health in 2017–2019, as well as a comparative analysis of aviation medical brigades performance indicators for 2005–2007 and 2017–2019, was carried out. The main compared indicators: time from the call to the departure of an ambulance helicopter to a patient; time of aviation medical brigade arrival to the place of call; total time before the patient is admitted to a specialized hospital; typical reasons for a refusal to use a helicopter when there is a call for it. Research results and their analysis. The analysis of the research results led to the following conclusions: use of helicopters to provide emergency medical care and to carry out air ambulance evacuation of patients in a metropolis makes it possible to successfully solve a number of complex problems. With the start of optimization and the introduction of algorithms for the operation of ambulance helicopters, flight time to a patient decreased by 2019, compared to 2007, by 1.9 times – from (33.2±1.07) to (17.8±0, 72) min; when evaluating the results of optimizing the aviation medical brigades work in Moscow, it should be borne in mind that there are objective limitations when using an ambulance helicopter. If you do not take into account reasons such as a patient’s refusal or a lack of indications for helicopter evacuation, impossibility of using an ambulance helicopter in the metropolis was on average: in 2017–2019 – 6.51% (210 cases per 3227 applications); in 2005-2007 – 10.23%. For about 10 years, impossibility of evacuating a patient to a specialized hospital has decreased for objective reasons by 3.72%, which emphasizes the effectiveness of the developed algorithms for air ambulance evacuation of urgent patients in a metropolis.

The article explores one of the most remarkable and dynamic phenomena of modern technoculture – video games. It reconstructs the genesis of the philosophical discourse on video games, exposing the main difficulties arising in making the definitions. Special importance is attached to the critical comparative analysis of the major strategies for the philosophical explication of video games. With the aid of the method of comparative-historical reconstruction and a structuralist approach, the essential correlations between the essential definition of a video game and the ontological systems of Plato, the Gnostics, G. Berkeley, E. Kant, as well as post-modern philosophy was established. The research results in formulating a model-integrative definition of a video game.

The paper presents a comparative analysis of the technique of cutting materials such as water jet cutting and laser cutting. The tests were carried out while cutting plastic elements, such as: PMMA, HIPS and ABS. To compare the analysed cutting methods, it was necessary to limit the type of material to be cut to the selected plastics due to the limited thickness range of the samples cut with the use of the laser used for the tests. The workpiece was designed in AutoCAD. The geometry was designed in such a way that it was possible to compare the accuracy of cutting both straight sections, curves and holes using the cutting techniques tested. The roughness of the treated surfaces (edges of the samples) was also analysed. A roughness gauge was used to test the edges. The obtained research results were compiled and analysed to determine the optimal technology and parameters of cutting processes for individual types of selected materials and shapes. As it was shown, the wrong selection of the cutting technology in relation to the processed material or the wrong selection of machining parameters may lead to the destruction of the detail being made and incur significant costs.

The aim of this article is to present research on consolidation of enterprises, especially units operating in the private sector. The method of comparative analysis and synthesis of the author’s own research results was used in the study, which proved the hypothesis that consolidation of the surveyed enterprises, which operate in the private sector, causes a gradual decrease in the phenomenon of the precariat, mainly due to an increase in the number of indefinite duration employment contracts. The author personally conducted telephone interviews with managers of variously sized companies. The survey covered 1,000 business entities from Poland, including 550 micro enterprises, 280 small enterprises, 120 medium-sized entities and 50 large enterprises, which in the years 2005–2018 were transformed as a result of consolidation processes (mergers or acquisitions). These phone conversations were conducted as free interviews.

The purpose of the article – based on the systematization of proposals from various scientific sources and the results of our own field studies of processes that occur in the agricultural sector, substantiate the main components of the institutional and legal environment aimed at preventing globalization of land use in the domestic agricultural sector, taking into account the experience of countries that have managed to solve this problem. Research methods. In the research process, the following methods were used: monographic (analysis of the distribution of agricultural enterprises of various countries by the area of agricultural land) comparative analysis (features of globalization processes in land use in Ukraine, Latin America and Western European countries were determined); empirical (according to a comprehensive assessment of the social and environmental consequences of the concentration of large tracts of agricultural land in the hands of domestic and transcontinental industrial-trading companies) abstract-logical (generalization and formulation of the main conclusions and suggestions based on the study results). Research results. The retrospective and current state of global processes in land use in different countries are investigated. A comparative analysis of the grouping of business entities by the size of land in Western European countries and Ukraine is carried out. It is proved that the economic benefits of anthropogenic agricultural production based on the concentration of large tracts of agricultural land in the hands of individual companies do not overlap social and environmental losses. The methods of rational distribution of agricultural land and control over their effective use and the role of the state in these processes are considered. Scientific novelty. Based on the systematization of the economic, social and environmental consequences of the global transformation of land use in agriculture and expert assessment of the impact of regulatory land legislation on this process, it was substantiated basic directions for the formation of the domestic institutional and legal environment aimed at preventing the development of an oligarchic latifund land use system in Ukraine. Practical significance. The obtained main research results are applied. Implementation in the domestic institutional and legal field of the restrictions proposed in the article on land use, access to agricultural land and state support and benefits, on the ecologization of land use through the adoption of the Law of Ukraine "On the Code of Sustainable Agriculture," and the introduction of strict control over compliance with established rules and regulations significantly they will reduce the "appetites" of existing agro-industrial-trade companies for expanding their land banks and limit their distribution in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, which will improve the conditions for the development of rural-self-sustaining enterprises and farms. Abstract. The results of scant attention to questions of artistic cultural decay and esthetic expressiveness are critical condition and often lack of artistic emotional and figurative perception of urban architectural environment and most of public and housing objects in Ukraine. One of the ways of dealing with this problem is implementation of specified means and techniques of artistic design. Many scientists research color and form impact on the urban architectural environment, however the attention is paid to the solution of general theoretical questions often ignoring artistic factor. That's why it is important to systematize information about means of formation of emotional and figurative perception of urban architectural environment accounting artistic factor and determine artistic techniques for form and color implementation to urban architectural environment. The aim and tasks of work are to systematize information about means for emotional and figurative perception of urban architectural environment using artistic factor, determine techniques for implementing main tools of artistic design to architectural and urban environment. Therefore, analysis and systematization of scientific research results, literary and informational sources revealed that such tools as form and color have the most significant influence on the formation of emotional and figurative perception of urban architectural environment within artistic design. As the result of the comparative analysis of existing knowledge six artistic techniques of implementing form and color to architectural and urban environment are presented. Among them are technique of polar contrast utilization, technique of highlighting, technique of rhythm, technique of dynamism or transparency, technique of expressiveness and technique of form and color subjectivity. Above mentioned techniques for implementing form and color to architectural and urban environment are basic for the development of the author's own language of self-realization by architect-artist. Using these techniques both together and separately, their successful combination can create an architectural and urban environment with a unique atmosphere, which is in development and changes constantly, dictates its own rules of perception, elicit an individual emotional response from every visitor.
