Abstract : Contraception is an action that helps an individual or a married couple to get acertain objective, avoid unwanted births, get the desired birth, set the interval betweenpregnancies, control the time of birth and determine the number of children in the family. Thepurpose of this study was to determine the description of contraceptive use by acceptors atManado Medical Center Hospital in the period July-December 2018. Samples in this studywere 58 respondents. This research design is a type of descriptive study with a retrospectiveresearch design. The results of the using contraception according to age, the most are age 26-30 years and >30 years, then age 19-25 years. According to the level of education, there aremore educated high school and S1 than junior high school. Whereas according to work, thereare more people who work as entrepreneurs compared to civil servants/private sector,employees and IRTs. The most widely used contraception is injection contraception.Conclusion of this research is that injection contraception is the most widely usedcontraceptive device at Manado Medical Center Hospital in the period July-December 2018.Keywords : Contraception, Acceptors, Age, Knowledge, Job.Abstrak : Kontrasepsi adalah tindakan yang membantu individu atau pasangan suami istriuntuk mendapatkan objektif tertentu, menghindari kelahiran yang tidak diinginkan,mendapatkan kelahiran yang memang diinginkan, mengatur interval di antara kehamilan,mengontrol waktu saat kelahiran dan menentukan jumlah anak dalam keluarga. Tujuanpenelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran penggunaan alat kontrasepsi oleh akseptor di RumahSakit Manado Medical Center periode Juli-Desember 2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah58 responden. Desain Penelitian ini adalah Jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desain penelitianretrospektif. Hasil Penelitian penggunaan alat kontrasepsi menurut umur, yang paling banyakadalah umur 26-30 tahun dan >30 tahun, kemudian umur 19-25 tahun. Menurut tingkatpendidikan yaitu lebih banyak yang berpendidikan SLTA dan S1 dibandingkan SLTP.Sedangkan menurut pekerjaan, adalah lebih banyak yang bekerja sebagai wiraswastadibandingkan PNS/swasta, karyawan dan IRT. Kontrasepsi yang paling banyak digunakanyaitu kontrasepsi suntik. Kesimpulan bahwa alat kontrasepsi suntik adalah alat kontrasepsiyang paling banyak digunakan di Rumah Sakit Manado Medical Center periode Juli-Desember2018.Kata Kunci : Kontrasepsi, Umur, Pendidikan, Pekerjaan.

The number and sex composition of children are important for some married couples in Indonesia. Having sons in the family is considered as a must since they are argued to be the successor of the family lineage. The presence of daughters is expected to help with household chores and care for their elderly parents. The sex preference for children by the married couples can affect their number of children. This study aims to assess the relationship between the number and sex composition of children, contraceptive use, and the desire to have more children among women in Indonesia. The study employed the data from the 2017 Indonesian Demography and Health Survey (IDHS), with the unit of analysis of currently married women aged 15-49 who have at least one living children. The results show that women with two or more children of the same sex had a higher tendency to have additional children and no use of contraceptives. The Family Planning program's campaign of similar values shared between son and daughter is still hardly accepted, hence, sex preference still exists. It is necessary to reformulate an effective concept for proper socialization of these values as an effort to control the fertility rate in Indonesia.

Abstract: The development of Information Technology in the field of education, a survey on the Use and Utilization of Information and Communication Technology was carried out on 4,014 schools in 34 provinces. Based on the level of education, elementary and equivalent as much as 64.55 percent, junior high school and equivalent as much as 19.22 percent and high school and equivalent as much as 16.23 percent. While the use of applications in the field of education is still felt to be lacking especially in rural schools so that there is a gap between urban schools and rural schools. This condition occurs in SMP PGRI Malangbong where the use of applications is still lacking. One example is in the recording of books in schools that are still manual which complicates operations in the school. The solution offered is to create an online book recapitulation system which is expected to be very useful for school operations. The online book recapitulation system was built using the waterfall method starting from the analysis, design, implementation, testing to maintenance stages. Keywords: Book Information system; Books; Schools            Abstrak: Perkembangan Teknologi Informasi di bidang pendidikan, survei Penggunaan dan Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi dilakukan terhadap 4.014 sekolah yang tersebar di 34 provinsi. Berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan, SD dan sederajat sebanyak 64,55 persen, SMP dan sederajat sebanyak 19,22 persen dan SMA dan sederajat sebanyak 16,23 persen. Sedangkan penggunaan aplikasi dibidang pendidikan masih dirasa kurang terutama di sekolah-sekolah pedesaan sehingga terjadinya kesenjangan antara sekolah diperkotaan dan sekolah pedesaan. Kondisi tersebut terjadi pada SMP PGRI Malangbong dimana penggunaan aplikasi masih sangat kurang. Salah satu contohnya adalah dalam perekapan buku di sekolah yang masih bersifat manual yang menyulitkan operasional di sekolah tersebut. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah dengan membuat sistem rekap buku online yang diharapkan sangat berguna bagi operasional sekolah. Sistem rekap buku online ini dibangun menggunakan metode waterfall mulai dari tahap analisis, desain, implementasi, pengujian sampai dengan pemeliharaan. Kata Kunci : Buku Sekolah; Sistem Informasi Rekap Buku

Abstrak "Pendidikan adalah kesadaran untuk mengembangkan kepribadian dan kemampuan di dalam dan luar sekolah dan berlangsung seumur hidup", yang dilaksanakan di dalam lingkungan keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat. Suatu lembaga pendidikan pasti mengharapkan tercapainya tujuan pendidikan yang mana dapat membantu terwujudnya tujuan nasional. Keterpaduan pendidikan baik keluarga, sekolah dan masyarakat sangat menentukan keberhasilan dalam dunia pendidikan. Keluarga merupakan lembaga pendidikan tertua, yang pertama dan utama dialami oleh anak dan lembaga pendidikan yang bersifat kodrat. Sekolah sebagai lembaga pendidikan formal hakekatnya merupakan lembaga yang mendapat kepercayaan dari orang tua untuk mendidik anak-anaknya dengan tanggung jawab yang terbatas, sesuai dengan fungsi dan tujuan lembaga pendidikan tersebut. Orang tua khususnya ibu mempunyai andil keberhasilan anaknya. Ibu adalah pendidik pertama, utama dan kodrat. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan judul " Perkembangan Kognitif Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun di tinjau dari tingkat Pendidikan Ibu Berdasarkan hasil data penelitian yang ditemukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan ibu dengan kategori sarjana lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan ibu yang tingkat pendidikan SLTA/SMK dan SLTP dalam hal mengoptimalkan perkembangan kognitif anak Rumbai Kota Perkanbaru   Abstract Education is understanding to develop the personality and in and out of school and lasted for hidup' , which was carried out within the family , schools and the community .An institution must expect the achievement of the aims of education where it can help maintaining national goals .Both the integrated education , schools and community it is the success in education sector .The family was the oldest educational institutions , first and foremost for children and educational institution that is nature .Schools as formal educational institutions is a substance that was commissioned from parents to educate anak-anaknya with limited responsibility , in accordance with its function and purpose the educational institutions. Parents especially mother have a share the success of his son.Mother is educator first, main and partaking. Competent demographic policy implies an understanding by the state of the economic, social, and demographic processes taking place in society. In earlier Russian and foreign studies, the authors found a number of fertility factors, however, the direction of influence of such determinants could be opposite. Aware of the special influence of sociocultural attitudes and values of the population on the number of children in a family, the author made an attempt to identify the determinants of fertility based on an empirical study of the World Values Survey. Using statistical and econometric methods, models that reflect the determinants of fertility in modern Russia were constructed. This work revealed a positive effect on the birth rate of religiosity, traditional views and the importance of the family for the respondent. Inversely related to the number of children in a family such factors as the level of education of the population and the value of leisure.

The paper based on baseline data of China Education Panel Survey  (CEPS2013-2014) to analyze the differences in the opportunities of acquiring shadow education between only child and non-only child in China.This study determined that the probability of an only child acquiring shadow education is higher than that of a non-only child. Shadow education activities among only child and non-only child feature “cultivating the elites” and “advancing the backwards.” Among them, an only child can maximize the effects of “advancing the backwards” of shadow education, whereas non-only child can maximize the effects of “advancing the backwards” of shadow education. Research results of non-only children show that the higher the number of children, the more unfavorable for students to participate in shadow education activities. Furthermore, the birth order of children affects the opportunity for non-only child to acquire shadow education, whereas first-born or last-born children can acquire better shadow education.

Introduction: One of the major nutritional mistakes committed by children and adolescents is snacking between meals. Sweet or salty snacks are rich in simple sugars, fats, preservatives and dyes, and poor in minerals and vitamins. Their excessive consumption can lead to the development of diet-related diseases in the future. Purpose: To evaluate the nutrition of children and adolescents with a focus on snacking between meals. Materials and methods: The study included 162 students from Bialystok schools, of which primary school students accounted for 30.2%, junior high school 38.3%, high school 31.5%. The questionnaire used by the authors contained 27 questions. Results: Regular meals were consumed by only 55.1% of primary school students, 35.5% of junior high school, and 37.3% of high school students. Two and fewer meals a day were consumed by 1.6% to 5.8% of the students studied. First breakfast was omitted by 18.4% of the students in elementary school, 16.1% of junior high school, and 15.7% of high school. Second breakfast was omitted by 12.9% to 17.6% of the respondents.Sweet products instead of a second breakfast were consumed by 44.9% of primary school students, 61.3% of junior high school, and 64.7% of high school students. Snacking most often occurred in the respondents' home (69.4% of elementary school students, 43.5% of secondary level students, and 52.9% of high school students). Water in school was drunk by 85.7% of primary level students, 56.5% of junior high school, and 51.0% of high school. The main source of knowledge about nutrition for 61.2% of primary level students was the family, while television, radio, and the Internet were the main sources of knowledge for 62.7% of high school students. Conclusions: The regularity of eating in the study group decreased with the studied students’ age. The most popular products in the group of younger students were salty snacks and sweets. Healthy snacking was observed more frequently in the group of high school students. The main place of snacking was the home. The primary source of knowledge about nutrition for primary school students was the family and for high school students the mass media.
