Posições-sujeito.  ABSTRACT Racial conflicts involving black and white people are present in the structure of Brazilian society, in its institutions, in the daily life of interpersonal interactions, in the media, those conflicts are always materialized in discourses dispersed in time and space, circulating socially. Occasionally, the press is an important ideological apparatus in which racial issues are usually presented from different biases in the journalistic genres that compose it. By mobilizing concepts belonging to the Discourse Analysis of the French line in the Pêcheux’s perspective, it is intended to investigate the functioning of a discourse produced in a journalistic scope that the discursive subject subjectifies as a racist. How does the discursive subject build the meaning of the word “racist”? How is this subject affected by the language, the ideology and the unconscious when dealing with racial issue? What positions does this subject enunciate and to which discursive and ideological formations does he link? In a country that denies its racism daily, in which this type of attitude is always attributed to the other, a discourse in which the subject subjectifies as a racist deserves attention. In “I’m racist”, we intend to analyze the ways of constitution of this subject involved in conflicting historical and ideological relations, often marked by contradictory discursive formations, since the very structural character of racism is a determining factor for the fluctuation of subject positions in the constitution of the speech and for the sliding of meanings. Keywords: Racism. Conditions of production. Subject positions.

This paper assumes an estimation of economical research of rapidly improving body on financial literacy. We begin with a synopsis of academic research, which emit financial learning as a structure interest in human capital. Development of financial learning has significant implication for benefit; also policies planned to increase levels of financial information in the well-built inhabitants. After that, we depict on topical surveys to ascertain how many numbers of people knows and categorize the least financial aptitude population subgroups. Though the narrative is still undeveloped, conclusions may perhaps strain on the subject of the effects and consequences of financial illiteracy, to work for answering these research gaps. A concluding part suggests a view on what remains to be educated, if researchers are to be improved to inform academic and experimental models with public policy.

A sociedade racista molda instituições racistas. And it is precisely for its racial content that this inequality is naturalized by society. Programs such as "Bolsa Familia" and "Brasil Sem Miséria" have brought a significant reduction in poverty and misery, even though the levels of inequality and the rate of poverty and misery remain extremely high. The continuation of this trend, not only to eradicate poverty and misery, but to build a society of equals will only be guaranteed if we face the root of this inequality: racism and its consequences. Therefore, there is the need to give real importance to affirmative actions as an indispensable addition to the classical social policies and even those aimed to fight poverty and misery. A racist society creates racist institutions. Institutional racism is the most complete mechanism of exclusion and denial of equality. In a project of democratic and pluralistic society, the state should act as a potentiator of change. And these changes will only occur when affirmative actions are used effectively and when such actions are associated to a set of government actions, without which, we will continue to reproduce inequalities, even at lower levels of poverty and misery.Key words: Racism, racial issues, public policy, affirmative action

Non-cisgender and non-straight identity language has long been a site of contention and evolution. There has been an increase in new non-cisgender, non-straight identity words since the creation of the internet, thanks to social media platforms like Tumblr. Tumblr in particular has been host to many conversations about identity and self-naming, though these conversations have not yet been the subject of much academic research. Through interviews and analysis of Tumblr posts, this thesis examines the emergence of new identity words, or neo-identities, used by non-cisgender and non-straight users of Tumblr. The work presents neo-identities as strategies for resisting and challenging cisheteronormative conceptions of gender and attraction, as well as sources of comfort and relief for non-cisgender/non-straight people who feel ‘broken’ and excluded from mainstream identity categories. This thesis also posits that Tumblr is uniquely suited for conversations about identity because of its potential for self-expression, community, and anonymity.

ABSTRACT The market for audit services has been the subject of extensive academic research since the 1970s. The prevailing view is that audit markets are characterized by tiers of suppliers (Big 4 versus non-Big 4, and industry specialists versus non-specialists) where the upper tier suppliers produce and sell a systematically higher level of assurance, while competition among suppliers within tiers is essentially perfect and a uniform price prevails within the submarkets. We discuss three papers that challenge this orthodoxy. These papers argue and find that the price of an audit is essentially unique to each (auditor, client) pair and that this price depends on both audit firm size and client size. Furthermore, audit firm size is linked with the firm's capital investments, which enhance auditor efficiency and market power. We conclude that audit markets are atomistic and that local market power is an important determinant of audit prices and audit fees.

This chapter reviews research and policy literatures on the spheres of crowdfunding. It identifies reward-based, donation-based, equity-based and credit-based crowdfunding with a view to collate relevant information to support crowdfunding knowledgebase and further research. As crowdfunding is a new concept in research literature, it is increasing in popularity in social media, business and research communities. Academic research in crowdfunding is limited and the subject is still evolving as a way of access to finance for seed capital, entrepreneurial projects and other early stage projects. Advanced countries in Europe and North America have recognised the relevance of crowdfunding in varying proportion from one country to another for project fundraising. However, the World Bank confirmed that developing countries are at different stages of recognition of crowdfunding in their policy framework. Although the UK financial regulator, Financial Conduct Authority, has produced a policy statement for crowdfunding and approved some service providers such as crowdfunding platforms, it is still interacting with stakeholders and providing guidance to potential entrepreneurs on the operational models. Crowdfunding is a way of raising small amounts of money from different contributors over the internet for different types of projects. There are huge management implications in the spheres of crowdfunding.

Is the subject of ‘gender difference’ an appropriate subject for a research journal? Perhaps it is only in the realm if architecture that this question could possibly arise at all. Elsewhere, in the real world, we know gender difference is accorded the seriousness and consequent academic research status it deserves as it is understood as a fundamental component within our culture.
