Agricultural education and training in the former Czechoslovakia has traditionally focused on fostering the position of cooperatives and state farms. The destruction of socialist agriculture and the reduction of commuting opportunities in the urban space during the transition have resulted in the handicapped socio-economic position of the Slovak countryside and its population. The role of education and training in fostering agribusiness growth and rural development could therefore become a crucial strategy. The aim of this article is to analyse the current state of education and training for agribusiness and for rural development in Slovakia using the methods of literature research and document analysis. The article interprets general trends in the development of adult education in Slovakia during the transition period. The main priorities and perspectives formulated in the national strategy for education in agriculture (for the period 2007-2013) are discussed in the mentioned context. With a focus on the leading role of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the paper assesses the current status of formal and further agricultural education and training offered in academic and other educational institutions. The paper concludes by discussing implications, recommendations and challenges for developing education and training initiatives for agribusiness and rural development.

The paper describes the current state of development of seasickness as one of movement disease variants. The given type of pathology occurs when combining different types of ship’s motion (rolling and pitching). Circular, vertical and slow movements induce more pronounced and frequent signs of seasickness than linear, horizontal and quick ones. In the view of majority of researchers, the most likely is an intersensory conflict theory i.e. violation of coherent functioning of afferent body systems performing spatial orientation, statokinetic equilibrium and keeping balance. The leading role is played by the functional dysfunction of the vestibular analyzer. The classification of means of preventing and stopping of motion sickness is given, the mechanisms of their action, specific activity and side effects are described. It has been shown that currently the most effective drugs are M-cholinergic antagonists (scopolamine hydrobromide) and H1-histamine antagonists of the 1st generation (dimenhydrinate, diphenhydramine, cyclizine, meclizine, promethazine, etc.). Of the antipsychotics and blockers of D2 receptors, prochlorperazine and metoclopramide are recommended. It is also worth to use prokinetics (domperidone, cisapride, renzapride, etc.), tranquilizers (barbiturates, benzodiazepines), sleeping pills and local anesthetics. Particular attention is paid to combination drugs, consisting of antiemetic and psychostimulating drugs, designed to maintain working capacity under the influence of seasickness factors on the body. Non-pharmacological means of preventing seasickness and alleviating its symptoms are described. The main directions of improving the system of measures aimed at maintaining efficiency in the presence of symptoms of seasickness are determined.

The system of public universities plays an important role in the socioeconomic development of each country. In Vietnam, public universities perform a leading role in the national higher education system’s operation and development. Therefore, public universities are assigned funds, assets, and facilities to implement goals and prioritize investment policies in the country’s education and training. However, to appropriately allocate funding, the state must reconsider the performance of the public education system. This paper presents a methodology to evaluate the operating performance of public higher education in Vietnam. The research design model includes cluster analysis and ANOVA, and Duncan post hoc tests have been used to provide an overview of public universities’ current state in Vietnam and to identify each of the strengths and weaknesses in cluster-specific groups. Based on this study’s results, educational administrators can develop a reasonable financial budget allocation plan for each university cluster.

The article is aimed at examining the current state and peculiarities of integration of Ukraine’s stock market into the world stock market. The article analyzes the current state of the stock market of Ukraine. It is defined that according to the criterion of «capitalization of the stock market/GDP», Ukraine’s stock market can be characterized as underestimated and having the potential for growth. The tendency to reduce the number of professional stock market participants and the gradual consolidation of securities trading in two stock exchanges was noted: «PFTS» and «Perspektyva». Most operations in Ukraine’s stock market take place in the secondary market. It is recognized that the stock market in our country is practically not used by issuing enterprises to attract financial resources. As for the issuers, most of them are represented by the so-called «blue chips». Among the extant problems of Ukraine’s stock market, low liquidity of securities was noted, which remains so due to the insider nature of the stock market. In addition, the phenomenon of price manipulation is present. But, despite the existing problems, the process of integration of the Ukrainian stock market into the world stock market continues. Thus, joining the process of virtualization of the world financial system, operations in the digital environment are gradually being transferred in Ukraine and information technologies are quickly introduced into the operations of stock exchanges. The Law of Ukraine «On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Simplifying Investment Attraction and Introduction of New Financial Instruments» adopted in 2021 took into account the requirements of the modern world stock market related to the transformation of existing forms of securities and the emergence of their new types. This law provides for the construction of a new financial infrastructure in Ukraine. It is concluded that the leading role in the process of integration of Ukraine’s stock market into the world stock market belongs to the State, which, stimulating the development of the national stock market and establishing cooperation with international organizations operating in this sphere, regulates this process.

Undoubtedly, the ecosystem approach generally and its principles particularly require thorough discussion at future meetings of the Conference of the Parties and implementation in appropriate decisions. At the same time, it is quite obvious that the effectiveness of this approach in the issue of biodiversity conservation will depend primarily on its implementation in the state environmental policy and legislation of all countries-participants of the Convention and its practical realization, which, according to the author, should become one of the priority and strategic directions in the field of legal regulation of environmental relations in Ukraine.
