In an era of SMART BUILDING, SMART HOUSES, this project came up with an idea of building a smart device which works smartly on some level. The system always tried to use the resources in a way that it should be conserved and should also not disturb current need and fulfil it. In order to come up with a solution which will not only conserve the energy resources but will also be an assistant with its control over the device. The system using Arduino paired with sensors and bunch of algorithms which will help in controlling the device and the device which is to be controlled with this controller will be an Air Conditioner. Using the data analysis of different aspects of weather conditions and timings and will train controller to control the device with solving the W’s of the situation i.e. How, When, Why and Where. The device will automatically control the air conditioner like when to power on and off, like on what temperature the AC should be and more.

As there is an advancement in wireless communication there is a wide development in embedding all the devices together and controlling them through a single device. Home automation is a smart system that has been becoming more popular in the present era, where all the devices related to the home are controlled remotely through a Smart Hub. The aim of the project is to develop a Smart Hub and to control multiple IR devices through a Smart Hub using Wi-Fi to IR through MQTT, because it is inconvenient to use multiple remotes for multiple IR devices. Smart Hub consists of peripherals ESP-WROOM-32D (Microcontroller), RT400, IR transmitter, IR receiver, LDR(Light Dependent Resistor) and LM35 as Temperature sensor. All the controlling of these integrated devices can be controlled through a smart phone or tablet. This technology uses ESP-WROOM-32D and web server using mobile phone or tablet having a specific application, one can control the smart system from anywhere or with in a home remotely. This paper describes about the automation of home for a specific electronic devices having IR Transceiver like Television, Air conditioner, Dish box, DVD player and many more. This paper also describes how MQTT protocol is used for the implementation of the present prototype using ESP-WROOM-32D. The other scenario is when we don’t have the IR Transceiver devices like light, fan etc and the devices which are manually operated through electrical switches also can be controlled through IR Transceiver, Arduino and Relays

In this proposed work, we are going to connect home appliances to user mobile so that they can handle their appliances by remote distances. Smart home and artificial technology are the trending technology which is developing rapidly. This smart home product improves the quality of living for occupants. In this system, we explore full home control or home automation by using GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication). User home appliances such as LED bulb, air conditioner etc. is controlled by GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) modem via SMS (Short Message Services) text message is presented in this paper. In this project, we are using AI (Artificial Intelligence) to operate devices. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is relatively a new idea that is easily accessible today by anyone who has access to a computer or a smartphone. This (Artificial Intelligence) also becoming a powerful presence in technology, has been swiftly dominating the home automation market. This allows us to integrate smart solutions into our everyday tasks. In this work, we are going to execute a continuous process to home appliances control system without any supervisor and later it will co-ordinate appliances and other devices through Short Message Service using GSM(Global System for Mobile Communication) and AI(Artificial Intelligence)

The technology has been growing from day to day in human life. The basic need of human to lead his/her life comfortably is a home. A home with updated latest technology which means a smart home. In such a scenario, there is a need to have an endeavour to have everything at the push of a button away, and more importantly, automated. Home Automation is such an endeavour, in which, all the electrical appliances present at home are connected to each other, having interactions with sensors placed at strategic positions in a closed loop manner to perform meagre tasks automatically, leaving less burden on the humans. With this project we are promoting the fact that Home Automation can greatly contribute to energy conservation too. This paper gives the basic idea use cisco packet tracer to implement smart home. Cisco implemented (IoT) functionalities in the latest version of the platform, and now it is possible to add all the smart devices, sensors, actuators, and devices, which simulate microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi to the network. All IoT devices can be run on generic programs or modified by Java, Python or Blocky programming them. This makes Cisco Packet Tracer a perfect method to construct functional simulations for IoT.

This paper aims to present the ideas and the strategies behind the project called “Berchidda Energy 4.0” which proposes the development of a smart Local Energy Community in the Municipality of Berchidda (Italy). This book is an introduction to quantitative research design and data analysis presented in the context of music education scholarship. The book aims for readers to come away with a familiarity of prototypical research design possibilities as well as a fundamental understanding of data analysis techniques necessary for carrying out scientific inquiry. The book includes examples that demonstrate how the methodological and statistical concepts presented throughout can be applied to pertinent issues in music education. For the majority of Part I, the strategy is to present traditional design categories side by side with explanations of general analytical approaches for dealing with data yielded from each respective design type. Part II consists of chapters devoted to methodological and analytical approaches that have become common in related fields (e.g., psychology, sociology, general education research, educational policy) but are as yet not frequently exploited by music education researchers. Ultimately, this work is motivated by a desire to help scholars acquire the means to actualize their research curiosities and to contribute to the advancement of rigor in music education research throughout the profession at large.
