Health problems that often occur in the elderly is rheumatism. Rheumatism is a disease that attacks the joints and bones or supporting tissues around the joints, this disease group is an autoimmune disease that is mostly suffered by the elderly. Initial survey conducted at Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha  Province found that most of the elderly suffer from rheumatism. current partners, among others, the Information and Education Communication Media , such as rheumatism gymnastics posters, are still lacking. Some elderly people do not understand the traditional methods of treatment for rheumatic pain prevention. Targets and outcomes: In addition to the outputs in journals, the targets in this community service are Carrying out health counseling activities for the elderly about managing rheumatism with traditional ingredients (Ginger therapy) by 80%. Rheumatic sufferers understand how to make ginger therapy ingredients, making media (posters) and rheumatism exercises. Implementation methods include education about rheumatism, rheumatism exercises, educational media. The results obtained by the elderly understand about rheumatism, prevention and traditional treatment with grated jage, and man to carry out routine anti-diphythmic dip. It is hoped that the orphanage staff will be able to monitor, motivate and improve the health of the elderly through health promotion activities, especially regarding rematies.

The implementation of posyandu for the elderly is not optimal and the lack of understanding of the elderly about the posyandu for the elderly causes a lack of participation and utilization of services by the elderly. This community service activity is carried out at the Posyandu Elderly in Sumbertebu Village with the aim to improve the skills of posyandu cadres and increase the participation of the elderly coming to the Posyandu. Revitalization activities include cadre training activities, making health promotion media, socializing the use of elderly posyandu through visits to elderly homes, assisting the implementation of elderly posyandu, and carrying out development activities in the form of elderly gymnastics (sports and group therapy (education). the results of this community service include increasing cadre skills in implementing posyandu and increasing the number of elderly visits to posyandu, optimizing the main service activities in posyandu and development activities capable of increasing the motivation of elderly people to come to the elderly posyandu.

ABSTRACT Objective: To know the perception of relatives of elderly people about the coexistence center and its importance in supporting the Health Care Network. Methodology: A qualitative study carried out with 14 relatives of elderly people participating in a coexistence center. Data collection took place in January 2016 through individual interviews, which were recorded, transcribed and submitted to content analysis. The results were discussed in the light of the theoretical referential of health promotion. Results: The elderly's participation in the coexistence center was an alternative to support care and institutionalization, provided time for self-care and to maintain or engage in the formal labor market and positively influenced the family relationships. Conclusion: The coexistence center was set up as a health promotion institution, being jointly responsible for the care of the elderly with the Health Care Network and the families.

Lanjut usia (Lansia) merupakan kelompok yang paling beresiko terkena Covid-19, dikarenakan lansia umumnya memiliki beberapa penyakit komorbid serta tingginya angka mortalitas pada lansia. Salah satu upaya untuk pencegahan penularan Covid-19 pada lansia ialah dengan langkah promotif dan preventif, antara lain dengan pemberian edukasi pada lansia. Selain itu, perlu juga diperhatikan agar lansia tetap sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19 sehingga kualitas hidup lansia tetap terjaga dan resiko tertular Covid-19 pada lansia dapat dikurangi. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap lansia tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia di masa pandemi Covid-19, dengan jumlah lansia sebanyak 20 orang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diawali dengan pendampingan para lansia untuk berkumpul diruang aula, pemberian kuesioner untuk pre-test, penyampaian informasi dilakukan dengan slide power point tentang protokol kesehatan dan upaya lansia sehat dan bahagia, video, kartu SMART, demonstrasi teknik relaksasi nafas dalam serta diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab, post-test, dan pemberian makanan tambahan sehat untuk lansia. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan menambah pengetahuan para lansia tentang pencegahan terjadinya infeksi Covid-19, meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap bahaya penularan serta menjadi lansia yang SMART. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Lansia, Sehat, Bahagia, SMART, Covid-19 ABSTRACT Elderly is the group most at risk of contracting Covid-19, because the elderly generally have several comorbid diseases and high mortality rates in the elderly. One of the efforts to prevent Covid-19 transmission in the elderly is by promoting and preventive steps, including providing education to the elderly. In addition, it should also be noted that the elderly remain healthy and happy during the Covid-19 pandemic so that the quality of life for the elderly is maintained and the risk of contracting Covid-19 in the elderly can be reduced. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and attitudes of the elderly about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people during the Covid-19 pandemic, with 20 elderly people. The method of implementing this community service activity begins with the assistance of the elderly to gather in the hall, giving questionnaires for pre-test, delivering information with power point slides about health protocols and efforts for healthy and happy elderly people, videos, SMART cards, demonstrations of deep breathing relaxation techniques. and ended with a question and answer session, post-test, and providing healthy supplementary food for the elderly. The results of this community service activity are expected to increase the knowledge of the elderly about preventing the occurrence of Covid-19 infection, increase awareness of the dangers of transmission and become SMART elderly. Along with economic progress, environmental improvement and advancement of science and technology, especially in health sciences, health promotion, disease prevention and health services have resulted in increased life expectancy for humans. Our society now sees the elderly as people who are less productive, less attractive, less energetic, easy to forget, therefore to realize healthy, productive elderly people at dusk, efforts are needed, one of which is by improving healthy lifestyles. Survey conducted by the Team, The number of elderly people in Posyandu is 79 people. There are only 2 active Posyandu cadres active, the elderly rarely visit the Posyandu, and the lack of knowledge on how to cope with problems related to elderly diseases, such as gout, stroke. Therefore it is necessary to hold counseling for the Elderly to better understand about health problems in the elderly and be more active in participating in the Posyandu for the elderly so that "Healthy Elderly People in Old Age" is realized. This activity was done in May-June 2019 at the elderly in the homes of residents of RT 11 Kelurahan Kenali Asam Bawah, with the service method using a survey approach, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation. The results obtained by the Posyandu officers are active and able to identify the elderly and health problems of the elderly and recognize and understand frequent diseases such as gout and stroke

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease that attacks several joints, the synovium, which occurs in the inflammatory process that causes damage to the joints. The problem faced by partners is that most elderly people still do not understand rheumatism management properly such as a healthy diet, the importance of maintaining body weight to avoid obesity and have not understood traditional rheumatoid management with lemongrass therapy. This community service activity has been conducted at the Tresna Werdha Social Institution in Jambi City in December 2018. The method used a survey, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation approach. The results achieved are the implementation of health counseling in the elderly about rheumatoid management, demonstration of lemongrass therapy therapy and conducting pain scale measurements before and after therapy

Lack of knowledge of the elderly about gout and various things related to gout will have a negative impact on the health of the elderly, family and society. One effort that can be done by nurses is to provide health education to the elderly. Elderly Posyandu in the Rawasari Community Health Center work area is one of the partners who have carried out the elderly posyandu activities according to the program, but in practice most of the elderly do not know about gout. The target and outcome of community service activities is to increase the knowledge of elderly gout, understanding, causes, signs and symptoms of gout, gout treatment, selection of foods that are allowed and which are not recommended for gout and complementary therapies for gout. The method of implementation used is survey, observation, interview, discussion, question and answer, demonstration through health education and examination of gout. This community service activity was attended by 25 elderly people. The results of this activity were 35% of elderly people suffering from gout, most of the elderly knew about gout and things related to gout, all the elderly attended health education from the beginning to the end and most actively participated during the activity. It is recommended to increase diposyandu activities for the elderly by providing health education with various material and regular health checks.

Health Promotion Activities with the title Clean and Healthy Lifestyle with Hand Washing at SDN Rangkah Kidul Sidoarjo Sidoarjo District Sidoarjo Regency is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and improving healthy behavior in children from an early age, especially in PHBS Hand Washing. The implementation of these activities on November 15, 2018 took place at Elementary School of Rangkah Kidul, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency. The target is students of Elementary School of Rangkah Kidul, Sidoarjo District, Sidoarjo Regency. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of licensing to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 50 students and 2 teachers, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Hand washing, health promotion, elementary school, counseling.

Introduction Falls in elderly people are an increasing public health problem resulting in high costs to health services. Thus, it is essential to invest in the development of actions and programs focused on decreasing such risks. Objective To verify the effects of a program of health promotion and prevention of falls in relation to balance and functional abilities in elderly people participating in interaction groups in Caxias do Sul City, RS State. Materials and methods For this purpose, 14 elderly people were selected for assessment and reassessment through the following instruments: the Barthel Index, Timed Up and Go Test (TUG), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), and a questionnaire to characterize the sample. Over the course of 2 months, group activities were conducted in a multi-sensory and proprioceptive circuit with a frequency of 2 times per week, totaling 14 meetings. Results The average age of participants was about 72 years old, mostly women (78.6%); 64.3% of them had experienced falls, and 92.9% had already practiced physical activities. After the intervention, there was an average increase of 9.14 points in the BBS (p = 0.000) and an average reduction of 4.4 seconds in gait speed on the TUG test (p = 0.000). Conclusion The application of the proposed program resulted in increasing balance and gait performance of the elderly, reducing the risk of falls.

Menstrual Health Promotion Activities for Adolescent Women at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo is a form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and enhancing healthy behavior in adolescents, especially in recognizing the phase of menstruation in adolescent women. The implementation of these activities on December 4, 2018 took place at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. The target is 7th grade students of the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of licensing to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 44 students and 1 teacher, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Women’s youth knowledge, health promotion, menstruation.
