Menstrual Health Promotion Activities for Adolescent Women at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo is a form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and enhancing healthy behavior in adolescents, especially in recognizing the phase of menstruation in adolescent women. The implementation of these activities on December 4, 2018 took place at the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. The target is 7th grade students of the 2nd Junior High School of Buduran, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of licensing to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 44 students and 1 teacher, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Women’s youth knowledge, health promotion, menstruation.

Health Promotion Activities about the Dangers of Smoking in Adolescents at MTs Islamiyah Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at growing and improving healthy behavior in adolescents, especially in recognizing the dangers of smoking for health. The activity was carried out on November 21, 2018 at MTs Islamiyah Tanggulangin, Sidoarjo. The target is students of MTs Islamiyah Tanggulangin Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for 3 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from the selection of health counseling materials to the submission of permits to the relevant parties. As an evaluation, the activity was attended by 40 students and 2 teachers, participants participated in the activity with enthusiasm and conducive, the activity can be carried out on time smoothly. Keywords: Adolescent knowledge, smoking hazard, health promotion.

Health promotion activities about the first aids during menstrual pain in the Islamic Junior High School of Al-Mu'awanah, Minggir, Sidoarjo is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at increasing children's knowledge about how the first treatment during menstrual pain which is an event of blood loss from the womb of a woman when she reaches baligh. The implementation of these activities on November 13, 2019 took place at the Islamic Junior High School of Al-Mu'awanah, Minggir, Sidoarjo. The target is all of the students of the Islamic Junior High School of Al-Mu'awanah, Minggir, Sidoarjo. Before the activity is carried out, there is a process of compiling the activity for approximately 2 weeks before the activity is carried out, starting from determining the theme of counseling to submitting licensing to the parties concerned. As a form of evaluation, the activity was attended by 26 students of VII grade of the Islamic Junior High School of Al-Mu'awanah, Minggir, Sidoarjo, participants took part in the activity happily and looked very enthusiastic, health promotion activities could run on time and smoothly. Keywords: Youth knowledge, menstrual pain, health promotion of first aids.

Health promotion activities on the Recognition of the Symptoms of Depression "Stop Suicide" in Junior High School of Al-Aziziyah is one form of community service in the form of counseling aimed at increasing students' knowledge about how to recognize depression symptoms which are frequent events that cause death. ABSTRAKPendahuluan: Penyalahgunaan narkoba merupakan masalah yang serius di berbagai negara bahkan di Indonesia. Keterbatasan informasi menjadi kendala kurangnya pengetahuan remaja tentang narkoba. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh video vlog terhadap tingkat pengetahuan tentang penyalahgunaan narkoba pada siswa siswi di SMP Strada Jakarta Selatan. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperiment dengan pre -post test control group design yang dilakukan pada Oktober 2017. Kelompok kontrol terdiri dari 52 responden dari SMP Asisi Jakarta Selatan dan 67 responden merupakan kelompok intervensi dari SMP Strada Marga Mulia Jakarta Selatan. Responden didapatkan dengan cara Total Sampling. Data dianalisa dengan Uji t-test independent dan paired sampel t-test. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukan terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan antara kelompok kontrol yang tidak diberikan perlakuan dan kelompok intervensi yang diberikan promosi kesehatan melalui video vlog dengan p value 0,000. Penelitian ini juga menunjukan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat pengetahuan pada kelompok intervensi dengan video vlog  p value 0,000. Simpulan: Promosi kesehatan dengan video vlog bagi siswa dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang penyalahgunaan narkoba sehingga dapat terhindar dari penyalahgunaan  narkoba. Kata Kunci: promosi kesehatan,  pengetahuan,  narkoba, vlog ABSTRACT Introduction: Drug abuse is a serious problem in many countries include Indonesia. The limitdness informations of knowledge for teenegers being obstacle. This purpose of this study was to determine the influence of health promotion through a vlog toward on the level knowledge about drug abuse at students in Strada Marga Mulia Junior High School. Method: this study is an quasi eksperiment with pre test post test control group design that alrady implemented on October 2017. The control group consist of 52 respondents in Asisi Jakarta Selatan Junior High School and 62 respondents of intervention group in Strada Marga Mulia Junior High School. The respondents obtained by total sampling. The data are analysed with independent t-test anda paired sampel t-test. Result: this study show that there is difference of knowledge’s level between control group that no treatment and intervention group that significant health promotion through vlog with p value 0,000. This study show the significant influence toward knowledge level in intervention group of vlog with p value 0,000. Conclution: health promotion with vlog for students can improve the knowledge about drug abuse, allowing can be escape by drug abuse. Keywords: health promotion, knowledge, narcotics, vlog

Background: Adolescent is a trantition phase from childhood to adulthood. Knowledge about puberty is important during this phase. If there is no sufficient information about it, it could cause several problems such as adolescence growth and development failure and healt problems. Health promotion to increase awareness of puberty is definitely needed by junior high students aged around 8 to 14 years old. Puberty health promotion could be delivered through visual media such as leaflet or audiovisual media such as animation film. The aim of this study was to discover effectivity of leaflet and animation film in increasing puberty awareness in students of Public Junior High School 226, Pondok Labu, South Jakarta. Method: This study was a quasi experiment with one group pre test-posttest design. Population of this study was whole students of 7th grade Public Junior High School 226. Sampling technique used was total sampling as many as 256 students. Data was analyzed by Wilcoxon test to find out effectivity of leaflet and animation film, meanwhile Mann Whitney test was used to discover effectivity between leaflet and animation film. Results: Both leaflet and animation film were effective to improving knowledge for adolescent (p-value<0,001). Conclusion: Either leaflet or animation film increased puberty awareness of students. There was no effectivity difference between both media in increasing puberty awareness of students at Public Junior High School 226.

Various types of educational devices that are used as a support for the creation of a good education are certainly important. One of them is using an effective method to provide a concept to students optimally. This study aims to analyze how high and important the influence of the experimental method on science subjects at the junior high school. The method used is a qualitative research method with a mini survey method on 47 samples consisting of junior high school students, high school students, college students, and alumni students as well as a literature study method (library study) which is carried out by screening electronic books (e-books) and e- journals. The results showed that 94% of experimental research methods were effectively used and 6% were not effectively used in the science learning process. The effectiveness of this method is that students can prove that an accepted concept is in accordance with the given theory and students can hone their psychomotor abilities. The weakness of this method is that it can be seen from the inadequate infrastructure, the ability of teachers, controlling students, and the selection of practicum materials.

TRAINING ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ONTO-SEMIOTIC APPROACH IN CLASS LEARNING FOR TEACHERS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL AL-BAHJAH TULUNGAGUNG. The purpose of this community service activity is the teachers training by implementing an onto-semiotic approach in classroom learning and produce a lesson plan. This activity done at Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The participants are teachers in Junior High School Al-Bahjah Tulungagung. The method used is theory method and practice. The results obtained throught this training are knowldge of innovative learning with an onto-semiotic approach for teachers and their ability to create and implement the lesson plan with an onto-semiotic approach.

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam mengajar mata pelajaran Bahasa inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong. Diharapkan para guru dapat mengenal dan mengaplikasikan teknik mengajar bahasa Inggris yang lebih efektif, menyenangkan, dan modern. Adapun sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah guru-guru MGMP SMP mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Kabupaten Tabalong yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan mendeskripsikan kegiatan pelatihan tentang teknik mengajar Bahasa Inggris yang modern. Pada kegiatan Pengabdian ini ditemukan sebagian besar guru belum mengetahui teknik terbaru dalam pengajaran Bahasa Inggris. Jadi, pelaksanaan pelatihan dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik. Materi yang disampaikan disesuaikan dengan program-program yang sesuai dengan silabus pada tiap sekolah. Materi tersebut berkaitan dengan perancangan dan teknik pengajaran yang diikuti oleh praktik pengajarannya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan ini menjadi salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan inovasi dan kreativitas para guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di sekolah, khususnya di tingkat SMP.                              This activity aims to deliver a short training to improve the creativity of junior high school teachers for teaching English in Tabalong District. It is expected that teachers can recognize and apply teaching techniques that are more effective, fun, and modern. The subjects of this activity are 30 junior high school teachers of English MGMP in the district of Tabalong. The method used in this community service is a qualitative method that aims to provide an overview and describe training on modern English teaching techniques. In this community service activity, it was found that most of the teachers did not know the latest techniques in teaching English. As a result, the training was carried out through the delivery of material, discussion, and practice. The material presented was adjusted to the programs which fit the syllabus in each school. The material was related to design and teaching techniques, followed by the teaching practice. It can be concluded that this short training is one way to improve teachers' innovation and creativity in teaching and to learn English, especially in junior high school level.
