The paper manages the profound education with uncommon reference to Dr. Annie Besant's perspectives on education wherein her life and social way of thinking impact on Indian educational system. The paper additionally manages her theosophical way of thinking dependent on the standards of 'The Unity of God' and of 'The Universal Brotherhood' which are the fundamental piece of profound education. An endeavour has been made to perceive, grasp, discover, break down, combine, assess and fundamentally look at the prevailing variables answerable for reinforcing otherworldly education with respect to Dr. Annie Besant's perspectives. It is education which assists with satisfying the intrinsic limit of people through the Theosophical Idea of Education dependent on Universal Brotherhood, Self-control, Self-investigation, Self-regard, Control of psyche, self-acknowledgment, self-talk with otherworldly arrangement, Love and Sympathy, Service, Freedom, Patience, Peace and Tolerance and to set them up to take care of the ordinary issues. Annie Besant was an Irish political dissident, independent person and Fabian communist. In the wake of grasping Theosophy under the tutelage of Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, a Russian spiritualist, Besant set out on her strategic spreading theosophical standards, and arrived at the shores of India in 1893. In India Hinduism entranced her to such a degree, that she gave herself to advancing Hinduism. She visited the length and broadness of India, and addressed seriously on the grand beliefs of Hinduism. In any case, Besant was of the supposition that nonattendance of strict education in government schools and universities and instructing of Christianity in preacher educational organizations was answerable for strict lack of bias and doubt among Hindu youth, and subsequently the fallen territory of Hinduism. To cure this state, she underlined the requirement for its recovery, and spread the possibility that strict education of Hindu young people should turn into a necessary piece of their education. So as to concretise these thoughts, Besant set up a school for the strict education of Hindu youth in the heavenly city of Benares, in India, in 1898. Besant is generally known in India for her political exercises as author of Home Rule Movement and as the main ladies President of Indian National Congress, the boss ideological group engaged with the battle for national opportunity. Despite the fact that Besant's political profession in India has been widely investigated, little is thought about her educational thoughts and exercises. “She loved India with a fervour and devotion all her own. Our country’s philosophy, our history or legends, our spiritual heritage, our achievements in the past, our sorrows in the present, our aspirations for the future were part and parcel of Mrs Annie Besant’s own life.” – Sri Prakasa in Indian Political Thought.

EditorialIn 2018, the Indian film “Starting Line” focused the public’s attention on the issue of education in India. It depicted the length some Indian parents were willing to go to secure educational resources for their children, as well as the difficulties faced by those disadvantaged in society in their fight for equal educational opportunities. In reality, many brilliant young Indian talents have been able to study in Australia through a fund set up by Prof. Chennupati Jagadish, a Distinguished Professor of the Australian National University. Prof. Jagadish is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. In 2018 he was awarded a UNESCO Prize for his contribution to the development of nanoscience and nanotechnology. He holds many positions, and has won numerous awards. What started Prof. Jagadish on his scientific research career? How did he become the respected scientist he is today? What was his intention in setting up the educational fund for students from developing countries? What advice does he have for young researchers? Here are the answers from Prof. Jagadish.

Abstract Modern controlling is an interdisciplinary field that allows management to manage properly, thereby creating the basis for good decision-making. Logistics operations in smart companies need to be not only properly set up, but also properly controlled and improved. The purpose of the article is to analyze the controlling environment in a selected company and point out possible improvements in logistics activities and devices, with a view to preventing different types of problems. For this purpose, observations of the internal logistics processes in a selected company were used and quantified to assess its internal state. On the basis of the data, controlling measures are put forward to improve the management of the company’s logistics activities. The results of the research highlight the opportunities that exist through controlling activities to collect and analyze information about the logistics activities of a company. By doing so, employees can be given greater responsibility for the fulfilment of their tasks and contribute to the streamlining of logistics processes. For managers, the implementation of controlling represents a change in the way of thinking and managing a company.

One of the most crucial factors affecting development in the 21st century is the increased participation of women in the economy of a country and increased entrance to managerial positions. Even though such tremendous changes have taken place, the patriarchal social set up insists on women's responsibilities towards family and children. The domestic roles of women are not shared by men despite the fact that women have shared the economic and social responsibilities of men. This causes conflict among work and family roles, which ultimately affects the physical and psychological well-being of women managers. This chapter deals with the problems and challenges faced by women managers in higher education in India and how family support and suitable coping strategies help them maintain work-family balance.

The first section of this overview starts by briefly sketching the state of the school education system in India. We then note that English-medium private schools are often not much better than government schools (whether English-medium or not). The second section argues that English-medium education in India must be seen in the larger context of a mother-tongue-medium education. English-medium-only education in India gives poor educational results, and it increases social inequalities. The way forward lies in a mother-tongue-based multilingual education that includes English.

This article is an inquiry into Russian legal culture and is based on the assumption that any institution transplanted from one social environment to another will be reinterpreted and reshaped, so that it can be accepted into the receiving society. The process of adaptation creates an opportunity to examine the receiving society's established practices and way of thinking. To demonstrate their effects, this article explores the author's research findings carried out in two Russian towns where institutions of media self‐regulation were set up. The findings are analyzed comparatively in order to identify how the key players in the two towns interpreted the initial ideas, established procedures and rules for the newly set up institutions, and defined the roles that were attributed to them. The results of the two‐city case study are then used to interpret some specifics of the internal logic of the local legal culture.

AbstractIn this study, a placebo/nocebo neuro-stimulation procedure was employed to investigate if expectations about self-control can influence self-control exertion. More specifically, we recorded behavioral and electrophysiological responses in an emotional antisaccade task in a between-subjects design, in which one group was led to believe that self-control was enhanced (MSC group) and the other that self-control was weakened (LSC group). This set-up allowed to investigate both response and emotional inhibition, as well as different stages at which control can be exerted during task performance, using Event-Related Potential (ERP) methods. Results showed that the bogus neuro-stimulation indeed installed the expectation of respectively better or worse self-control capacity, as well as the retrospective evaluation at the end of the experiment that the neuro-stimulation changed their self-control in that direction. Participants in the MSC compared to the LSC group showed higher accuracy in trials in which inhibitory control was necessary (antisaccade trials). ERP results showed no effect of the placebo/nocebo manipulation at the level of attention and inhibitory control. In sum, this study showed that high-order cognitive processes are not immune to the influence of expectations induced by a placebo/nocebo procedure, and shows that instructions alone can induce a placebo/nocebo effect in cognitive functioning.

This paper is about events where one or more banks face difficulty ruling over their short-term liabilities and perhaps fail. it is natural to think of these events as occurring where some agents have some benefits from creating the risk of these kinds of events, and perhaps do not bear all the societal costs. it is natural to think of these as inefficient outcomes, such as a straightforward way of thinking about that is coming from implicit bank guarantees, for example. What is surprising is that they may happen. This article is about challenging this view. The goal is to try to persuade the reader that there may be some, not just private values but judiciary values to set up a financial system that is subject to these kinds of events where multiple banks will fail at the same time and face difficulty ruling over their debt. In that sense, this article is not trying to convince someone that financial crises may have some efficiency problems. So, it leads very naturally to the question that has been studied already. And this article is going to try to contribute to the understanding of why individual banks per se find an optimal to finance themselves in a fragile way where they are subject to these inefficient terminations. And more generally, why might there be an optimal to have a system that is subject to these kinds of shocks? it is that kind of a question that is under discussion here in this article.

Makalah ini mengkaji representasi kisah Nabi Ibrahim dalam delapan sajak Indonesia modern, yaitu “Hanya Satu” (Amir Hamzah), “Ibrahim! Ibrahim!” (Remy Sylado), “Bapak Semua Bangsa” (Remy Sylado), “Sajak 10 Zulhijah” (Remy Sylado), “Balada Nabi Ibrahim a.s. dan Nabi Ismail a.s.” (Taufiq Ismail), “Sajak-Sajak Kelahiran” (Abdul Hadi W.M.), “Ibrahim Alaihisalam I” (Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda), dan “Ibrahim Alaihisalam II” (Ahmadun Yosi Herfanda). Abstract:This paper examines the story representation of Prophet Ibrahim in the eight modern Indonesian poems, namely, “ Hanya Satu (The Only One) “ (Amir Hamza), “Abraham! Abraham! “(Remy Sylado),” Bapak Semua Bangsa (The father of all Nations)”(Remy Sylado),” 10 Zhul- Hijjah Poem”(Remy Sylado),” Balada Nabi Ibrahim a.s. dan Nabi Ismail a.s. (Ballad of the Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Ismail a.s.) “(Taufiq Ismail),” Sajak-Sajak Kelahiran (Birth Poems )”(Abdul Hadi WM), “Ibrahim Alaihisalam I” (Yosi Ahmadun Herfanda), and “Abraham Alaihisalam II” (Yosi Ahmadun Herfanda). The study of eight modern Indonesian poems written by five poets was done by comparing the story of Prophet Ibrahim contained in the Bible and the Qur’an to the poetry created by the five poets. The study finds that the eight poems represents preaching the faith of Prophet Ibrahim in disseminating the teachings of the divine. Prophet Ibrahim was seen as the most sublime and the most glorious man, hence; the Prophet Ibrahim was so called ‘’abu al- anbiya’, namely, the father of all prophets,  as well as The Lover of God, Most Merciful. Prophet Ibrahim upheld the unity of God by destroying all the idols and set up the Ka’ba. The results of this study recommends that every man can imitate the grandeur and glory of the Prophet Ibrahim who always believed in God.

Contemporary Indian society struggles to arrest moral erosion, as traditional social control mechanisms backed by shame have declined. The article argues that unless individual self-control based on a re-configurated morality emphasising shame as well as guilt is sufficiently strengthened, the present negative spiral cannot be reversed. Differences between shame culture and guilt culture are explored to identify how socialisation and education as key mechanisms for transmitting values and morality may be revamped to nurture better consciousness and moral renewal. Educational strategies would need to emphasise duties rather than rights, already reflected in constitutional guidance about Fundamental Duties in the Indian Constitution. Thus, a rational, secular approach that trusts educators to deliver value-based education in India without necessarily strengthening Hindu nationalist tendencies is suggested as a viable way forward.
