The English playwright Harold Pinter's plays "The Guardian" and "The Dwarfs" chosen from his drama are addressed to. The "chaotic world" observed in the plot of the plays is analyzed and the conclusion that the heroes are born of conflict in their relationships is defended. The object of research is to take into account the difference between the consciousness and reality. Issues such as conflicts of mind, aimlessness, phobias, the virtual world, lack of communication, psychological disorders of the personality are examined. As in Pinter's works, you can see the features of realism, romanticism, modernism, postmodernism, symbolism, surrealism, absurdism in the drama of Elchin, Kamal Abdulla and Firuz Mustafa. It is important to compare the Azerbaijani and English drama, which does not fit into the framework of any literary trend and is relevant as it lags behind time, in terms of plot, motives and artistic features. Key words: dramaturgy, fears and phobias, fantasy, loneliness and aggression,“madness”

This pilot study uses quantitative content analysis following the framework of generic frames, diagnostic and prognostic frames (Godefroidt et al. 2016) to compare the news framing of the Ukraine crisis in Russia and the UK from 30 November 2013 to 26 February 2014. The Moscow Times and The Guardian were chosen as examples of quality print media with online editions that are comparable in terms of quality, circulation rate, political stance, and more importantly – global targeting. The study argues that firstly, the media in both countries were more likely to report through conflict lens, followed by responsibility frame. Secondly, the difference between the Eastern and Western media was tracked. While the Russian media relatively preferred economic consequence frame reflecting the country’s geopolitical interests, the British media tended to use human-interest frame highlighting unfairness and non-proportionality.

Value-added tax is an indirect tax based on the sale value of goods, production and non-manufactured goods as an object of taxation. According to the mechanism and procedures for the calculation and payment of value added tax, this tax is not directly imposed by a particular person, but applies to consumers in the process of return. In this case, the value added tax is neutral for securities. In addition, value added tax is universal and is characterized by the difference between purchases at each stage of production and turnover. In connection with the calculation of value added tax, the taxpayer's tax liability to the budget consists of the difference between the amount of tax assessed on taxable turnover and the amount of tax to be deducted in accordance with the documents. Key words: European Union, value Added Tax, tax, tax system

To determined whether the service quality of aviation is good can be seen from the ability of the service in achieving the expectation of the customer. This study aims to identify the difference between the expected service and the reality perceived by the customer in relation to the service of Garuda Indonesia airlines in Banda Aceh City.            This study used 99 customers of Garuda Indonesia Airline as the sample which is drawn by applying purposive sampling technique. Data was gathered by using questionnaire and analysis by using statistic tool, average differentiation test (t-test).            The result of statistic test shows t value is greater than the value of t-table. Thus, Ha is accepted while Ho is rejected which means there is average differentiation between the expected service and the perceived service of Garuda Indonesia’s customer            Generally, the customer has relatively good assessment towards the quality of Garuda Indonesia airlines. However, they still hope for better service in order to remains the gap between the expectation and the perceived service. Therefore, it is demanded for the management of Garuda Airlines to improve their provided service quality. Key words: User percepcion, Airline Service and Garuda Indonesia Banda Aceh

- Poetic images and Pragmatics Starting from Benveniste's analyses of historical enunciation, the nature of pronouns and the subjectivity of language, this essay focuses on that the kind of subjectivity implied in much Greek lyric poetry, especially in Pindar. By means of discursive tools, the narration builds an exclusively verbal image of the "I", which comes before any reference to elements external to the text. In this way, the "I" stands for an enunciative, pragmatic and polyphonic subject: it is, indeed, the actor (singer, tragic actor, choral group) of a ritualized situation. This performative identity is different from the author of the written text. In Greek poetry, the written text is above all a speech-act, mostly a song-act. This raises the problem of the difference - and of the relation - between the author's biographic subjectivity and the identity created by the linguistic devices in the text. Using different images: chariots, ceremonial processions, Calame's analysis focuses on the metaphorical identification between poetic song and journey.Key words: Enunciation, Image, Metaphor, Poetry, Pragmatics, Subjectivity.Parole chiave: Enunciazione, Immagine, Metafora, Poesia, Pragmatica, Soggettivitŕ. The development of virtual reality brings an old and historic question on the difference between the real world and unreal world. In this paper, starting from the concept of representation, I argued that what we call “virtual reality” is a representation of an actual or non-actual world and the criterion of difference between the “real world” and “virtual reality” is whether we present it with the intention of using it as a representation. After that, the thesis is demonstrated again from different theories of scientific representation. Therefore, the intuitive distinction between the “real world” and “virtual reality” can be drawn on the epistemological criterion; that is to say, the virtual world is a representation while the real world is not.

Rates of conversion of 1-(tri-n-butylstannyl)-2-phenylethyne to phenylethyne in H2O and D2O solutions of perchloric acid were found to be proportional to acid concentration, giving the hydronium ion rate constant [Formula: see text] and the isotope effect [Formula: see text]. The magnitude of this isotope effect suggests that the reaction occurs by rate-determining hydron transfer to the substrate, producing a vinyl carbocation; this carbocation then loses its tributylstannyl group, giving phenylacetylene as the only detectable aromatic product. The hydronium ion rate constant, when compared to the rates of protonation of phenylethyne and 1-(trimethylsilyl)-2-phenylethyne, gives a β-stannyl stabilizing effect of δΔG≠ = 6.6 kcal mol−1 and a differential β-stannyl/β-silyl effect of δΔG≠ = 3.2 kcal mol−1. These stabilizations are very much smaller than previously reported β-stannyl effects. Possible reasons for the difference are suggested. Key words: β-stannyl effect, β-silyl effect, carbocation stabilization, protodemetalation.

Pre-slaughter ultrasound and carcass measurements of ribeye area (REA) and backfat (FAT) were recorded on composite beef bulls (n = 60), heifers (n = 60) and steers (n = 60). Breed composition of the composite was: 0.44 British (Hereford, Angus and Shorthorn) 0.25 Charolais, 0.25 Simmental and 0.06 Limousin. The Aloka SSD-1100 (AL) and the Tokyo Keiki CS 3000 (TK) ultrasound machines were compared by evaluating the difference between ultrasound and carcass measurements (bias), and the standard error of prediction (SEP). AL under-predicted REA in all three sexes while TK overpredicted heifers and steers and underpredicted bulls. Both machines were similar in accuracy among bulls for REA. For FAT AL underpredicted all three sexes while TK underpredicted heifers and had very small bias for bulls and steers. SEP for FAT were similar for both machines. Both machines underpredicted REA in larger muscled cattle and overpredicted in smaller-muscled cattle. Both machines also underpredicted FAT in fatter animals and overpredicted FAT in leaner animals. Machines were similar in accuracy among cattle with larger REA but differed significantly (P < 0.05) among smaller-muscled cattle. Machines were comparable in accuracy among animals of all FAT sizes. This study demonstrates that there is an important relationship between machine and the size and depth of muscle and backfat, respectively, and consequently between machine and sex, in accuracy of ultrasound prediction. Key words: Beef cattle, ultrasound, accuracy, back fat, ribeye area

Genetic trends for weaning weight were determined in two herds of multibreed beef cattle that originated from a common base and were subject to mutual breeding policies in separate environments. The herds diverged for the direct though not the maternal genetic component of weaning weight within the 13-yr period examined; in the final year, the difference (P < 0.001) between the herds was almost 3 kg. This could have been partly due to unequal selection differentials and generation intervals. Results suggested the extent of natural selection also differed between the two environments. Key words: Beef cattle, crossbreeding, genetic trends, selection, weaning weight

A common rearrangement reaction for gas-phase proton-bound molecular pairs corresponds to an internal SN2 reaction that results in the loss of a small neutral molecule. For pairs (RCN)(ROH)H+, the energies of the two transition states (TSa and TSb) and the intermediate complex (IC) in the isomerization reaction (relative to the proton-bound pair, in kJ mol–1) can be estimated using the following relationships: E(TSa) = 87 – 9(n) – 0.33(ΔPA), E(IC) = 83 – 9(n) – 0.33(ΔPA), and E(TSb) = 107 – 9(n) – 0.10(ΔPA), where 87, 83, and 107 kJ mol–1 are the values for (CH3CN)(CH3OH)H+. Here, n is the number of stablizing alkyl groups on the central SN2 carbon and ΔPA is the difference between the proton affinity of the migrating moiety and that for the base system (in this case, CH3CN). For the analogous pairs (ROH)(R′OH)H+, only the first value in each expression is different (98, 94, and 121 kJ mol–1, respectively, calculated for (CH3OH)2H+).Key words: proton-bound molecular pairs, isomerization, internal SN2 reaction, energetics, metastable ions.

The validity and reliability of the Cosmed K2 was tested in comparison with a Quinton on-line oxygen analysing system. A female subject was monitored on a treadmill using a progressive protocol and was measured on three occasions with each system. It was found at low workloads that the Cosmed K2 and the Quinton gave the same measure of oxygen uptake; at higher workloads the Cosmed K2 gave lower values, and at peak oxygen uptake the Cosmed K2 measured 22.2% less than the Quinton. The difference in the measurement of [Formula: see text] at peak oxygen uptake was 13%. The Cosmed K2's measurement of [Formula: see text] showed a greater variability between trials (variation coefficient 3.0-11.4%) than the Quinton (variation coefficient 1.1-3.9%). Key words: Cosmed K2, validity, telemetry
