Learning Arabic-speaking skills is a must for Arabic learners. Several methods are often practiced in learning to speak Arabic. Educators need to pay attention to the typology of their students so that they can choose the right method. This research-oriented was to evaluate the relevant methods for studying Arabic communication. In this article, the researcher used a qualitative method with data sources from the literature documentation. The results of this research found that there were advantages and disadvantages to each method that was used to train students' speaking skills. Success in using the method depended on the competence of educators in applying it, supporting media, and teaching materials that were appropriate to the context of the learner. To achieve Arabic-speaking skills, a combination of various elements in learning is needed.

Research objective is to providing an insight into the characteristics of Arabic language teaching materials in higher education in Indonesia. This research was conducted by examining a variety of literature relating to teaching materials and Arabic speaking skills. The research method applied survey, involving 97 students from the Arabic Language Education Study Program in several universities in Indonesia and structured interviews with lecturers who supported Arabic speaking skills. The procedure taken are 1) reading literature related to Arabic speaking teaching materials and teaching Arabic speaking skills, 2) observing the learning process of speaking skills at several Arabic Language Education Study Programs, 3) determining the type of survey, 4) determining the sample target, 5) preparing instruments for analyzing the needs of students, 6) preparing structured interview instruments for lecturers, 7) analyzing survey results, 8) translating survey result. The results of this study, teaching materials from Middle East has led to the emergence of gaps in achieving Arabic language skills for beginners, such as the lack of phonetic aspects being taught, monotonous forms of practice, directing students to memorize, and types of dialogue that are not in accordance with student culture in Indonesia. The characteristics of teaching materials that are suitable for use in Arabic language skills are divided into goals, phonetics, themes, social culture, exercises, steps and visualization.

Students in Islamic boarding schools have difficulty expressing their thoughts verbally using Arabic. Meanwhile, in terms of understanding written texts and reading written language, they have pretty good skills. This study aimed to describe the implementation of the TPR method to improve the speaking skills. This study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of this study were Arabic teachers and selected students using the snowball technique. Based on the results, the TPR method can break the ice of communicating in Arabic among students, their difficulties in expressing their thoughts can be minimized by getting used to responding to those around them.

Evaluation is something that is commonplace and even just flows in accordance with the calendar of education. This research aims to find out and look for a solution of the problems that occur when implementing an evaluation for Arabic speaking skills at the level of data done by observation and interviews to several Arabic language teachers at the elementary level. With the data already obtained the writer to study literature to relate some of the problems with the existing theories to find relevant solutions for each issue found. As for some of the problems found related to the evaluation of speaking skills of students at the primary level, including the following: 1) Teachers often neglect the evaluation of speaking skills for being too focused on the written evaluation, 2) time is inadequate also make teachers second priority to this evaluation, 3) Teachers admitted the difficulty to make the right instrument for the evaluation of speaking skills, and 4) the ability of students limited hamper the ongoing evaluation of speaking skills. From some of the existing problems, there are several solutions to overcome them. One was a teacher must adjust the evaluation of speaking skills are as important as some other language proficiency evaluation.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan : (1) untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. (2) untuk mengetahui hasil dari pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. (3) untuk mengetahui kelebihan dan kekurangan dari pembuatan motif flora dengan teknik ukir menggunakan media sabun batangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Swasta Salsa Percut Sei Tuan. Jumlah populasi penelitian 38 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel penelitian adalah total sampling, yaitu teknik pengambilan sampel sumber data yang apabila populasi berjumlah dibawah 100 maka sampel adalah keseluruhannya. Data penelitian ini dijaring dari hasil eksperimen, observasi serta penilain oleh 3 orang validator. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa hasil eksperimen motif flora dengan media sabun batangan menggunakan teknik ukir dikatakan baik, dilihat dari karya yang di kategori baik di presentasi 36,8% sedangkan untuk kategori cukup baik di presentase 63,2%. siswa mampu memenuhi standart penilaian yang ditetapkan terhadap siswa dengan minimum nilai yaitu 70 hingga hasil akhir pada proses pembuatan eksperimen motif flora dengan media sabun batangan menggunakan teknik ukir menunjukkan bahwa 38 siswa mencapai ketuntasan.Kata Kunci: eksperimen, motif flora, sabun, ukir.AbstractThis study ai aims: (1) to describe the process of making flora motifs using carving techniques using bar soap media. (2) to determine the results of the making of floral motifs with carving techniques using bar soap media. (3) to determine the advantages and disadvantages of making flora motifs by using carving techniques using bar soap media. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are observation and documentation. This research was conducted at the Private Junior High School of Salsa Percut Sei Tuan. The number of research population is 38 students. The research sampling technique was total sampling, namely the sampling technique for data sources, if the population was below 100, the sample was the whole. The research data was collected from the results of experiments, observations and judgments by 3 validators. From the research results, it is concluded that the experimental results of flora motifs with bar soap media using carving techniques are said to be good, seen from the works that are in the good category at the presentation of 36.8% while for the fairly good category at the percentage of 63.2%. Students are able to meet the standard assessment set for students with a minimum score of 70 until the final result in the process of making experiments with flora motifs using bar soap media using carving techniques shows that 38 students achieve completeness.Keywords: experiments, floral motif, soap, carving.

Learning materials are very important in learning Arabic. But in reality, there are many learning processes that do not use even do not have the right textbooks or teaching materials, like the researcher found in Al-Khoiriyah Ma’hadul Qur’an dormitory Sukorejo Situbondo. This was impacting on their lack of speaking skills, while they have to communicate in Arabic and English everyday as bilingual dormitory. Therefore, they need specific learning textbooks so that teaching and learning activities can be directed correctly, especially the textbooks that can support learning maharah kalam, so they can improve their speaking skills. This study aims to preparation textbooks of maharah kalam using functional approach because students need materials that related with their daily activities and functional verbal expressions. The method of this research was research and development (R&D)"which was proposed by Borg and Gall. The design of the product trial went through the expert validation, content and instructional design expert. The results of this textbook trial showed that this textbook was effective to meet the students need to increase speaking skills which using pre-test and post-test exercise, with pre-test result from 58,6 then increase in post test to be 85 and also the result of the teachers and students questionnaire is very good and effective to use after using this product. Therefore the teaching materials useful for their Arabic daily communication

This study aims to determine how the learning method is a very important factor in learning foreign language speaking skills, especially Arabic. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The object of this research is Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Metro, Lampung. Meanwhile, the instruments in this study were interviews and literature studies. It can be noted that the learning method greatly influences the learning process and outcomes. The results of this study indicate that the learning method used in MAN 1 Metro, Lampung, is the direct method (mubāsharah). The effectiveness and efficiency of this method can be proven in learning activities for vocabulary development, the practice of Arabic in daily communication, the practice of Arabic speech, and Arabic drama, and the use of Arabic vocabulary in public facilities. However, this is also not free from inhibiting factors, namely the background of educators who do not have an Arabic education background and a lack of competence as an Arabic teacher, students who are less motivated in learning Arabic, the background of students who do not understand Arabic, as well as teaching materials that are less relevant for students to use in learning Arabic speaking skills.

Ibadah Haji adalah rukun Islam kelima, manakala ibadah Umrah adalah salah satu ibadah yang sangat dituntut dalam Islam. Kedua-dua ibadah ini adalah hak Allah ke atas setiap muslim yang berkemampuan, dan dari sudut yang lain ia juga merupakan hak semua muslim untuk melakukannya. Memandangkan pelaksanaan kedua-dua ibadah ini melibatkan aspek-aspek yang pelbagai seperti keselamatan dan kesihatan, maka pihak yang bertanggungjawab dalam menguruskannya telah meletakkan beberapa syarat tambahan, di samping syarat-syarat yang telah diletakkan oleh Syarak. Antara syarat-syarat tambahan ini ialah, larangan mengerjakan haji atau umrah tanpa melalui agensi pengelola yang sah. Kajian ini bertujuan menilai syarat larangan ini dari sudut syarak, dengan menekankan aspek kemaslahatan dan kemudaratan. Kajian ini mengandungi tiga perbahasan utama, dengan perbahasan pertamanya menjurus kepada pengenalan tajuk kajian dan pengertian beberapa istilah yang digunakan. Perbahasan kedua pula menyoroti latar belakang hukum larangan ini, manakala perbahasan ketiga membincangkan penilaian hukum larangan tersebut menurut konsep Maslahah. Kajian ini akan menggunakan metod kualitatif dengan menjadikan kaedah-kaedah syarak secara umumnya dan konsep Maslahah secara khususnya sebagai sandaran dalam menilai sejauh mana larangan mengerjakan Haji dan Umrah tanpa melalui agensi pengelola menepati Syarak. Abstract: Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam, while Umrah is considered among the highly encouraged deeds in Islam. Both worships are considered as the right of Allah upon every Muslim who are able to perform them while every Muslim has the right to go to Hajj and Umrah. Considering that, the practice of these worships involves various aspects such as security and health, the responsible party has imposed additional conditions to those who are willing to perform Hajj or Umrah including to use an operating agencies, which are recognized by the Saudi government. This study aimed to evaluate condition of restriction in the view of Shariah, by emphasizing the comparison between Maslahah (interest) and Mafsadah (harm). This study consists of three main discussions, which focuses on defining the terminologies, highlights the historical background of this restriction, and discusses the Islamic ruling of this restriction based on the concept of Maslahah. This study relies on the qualitative method by utilizing the concept of Maslahah in evaluating this restriction.

The international standardization of auricular acupuncture points (AAPs) is an important basis for auricular therapy or auricular diagnosis and treatment. The study on the international standardization of AAPs has gone through a long process, in which the location method is one of the key research projects. There are different points of view in the field of AAPs among experts from different countries or regions. By only analyzing the nine representative location methods, this paper tried to offer a proper location method to locate AAPs. Through analysis of the pros and cons of each location method, the location method applied in the WFAS international standard of AAPs is thoroughly considered as an appropriate method. It is important to keep the right direction during developing an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) international standard of auricular acupuncture points and to improve the research quality of international standardization for AAPs.

Összefoglaló. A palliatív ellátások korai bevonása az onkológiai betegek ellátásába előnnyel jár mind a beteg életminősége, mind a kezelés színvonala, mind a költséghatékonyság szempontjából. Szükség van egy olyan modellre, mely alapján a megfelelő időben, a megfelelő beteg a megfelelő minőségű palliatív ellátásban részesül. Ebben a közleményben a palliatív ellátás korai integrációjának előnyei, szintjei és a speciális palliatív ellátás fogalmának ismertetése után a leginkább elterjedt beutalási modellek előnyeit és hátrányait mutatjuk be a nemzetközi szakirodalom alapján. A speciális palliatív ellátást igénylő betegek kiszűrésére szolgáló, prognózisalapú modellek hátránya, hogy nincs elég kapacitás az ilyen módon beutalt nagyszámú beteg ellátására, ezért széles körben nem terjedtek el. A tüneteken alapuló modellek sokszor bonyolultak és a mindennapi klinikai gyakorlatban nem használatosak. Az új kutatások alapján egyszerű, gyakorlatias kérdéssorokat alkalmaznak, melyekkel könnyen kiemelhetők, akik profitálnak a speciális palliatív intervencióból. Ezek közül a Yale egyetemi és a PALLIA -10 modellt ismertetjük részletesen. Amennyiben az aktív onkológiai ellátást végzők a megfelelő palliatív beutalási kritériumokat ismerik és alkalmazzák, a betegek időben jutnak a megfelelő komplex kezeléshez anélkül, hogy a palliatív ellátórendszer túlterhelődne. Early integration of palliative care into the trajectory of cancer care brings advantages into the patients’ quality of life, the level of care and cost-efficiency, too. On the basis of a predefined model, the right patient may receive the right level of palliative care at the right time. Having defined the advantages, the levels of early integration of palliative care and the concept of special palliative care, we also aim to describe the advantages and disadvantages of the most common referral models on the basis of international literature in this article. The drawback of prognosis-based models to identify patients needing special palliative care is the lack of capacity to provide care for the large number of patients so recognised; therefore they have not become widespread. Needs-based models tend to be complicated and thus rarely applied in everyday clinical practice. On the basis of new researches, simple, pragmatic questionnaires are utilised through which the patients who could benefit from special palliative care interventions are easy to identify. Here we give a detailed report of the Yale University and PALLIA-10 models. On condition that appropriate palliative referral criteria are known and applied by active oncology care providers, patients may receive adequate complex care without the palliative care system being overloaded. With the rapid growth of e-commerce in recent years, e-commerce platforms are becoming a primary place for people to find, compare and ultimately purchase products. To improve online shopping experience for consumers and increase sales for sellers, it is important to understand user intent accurately and be notified of its change timely. In this way, the right information could be offered to the right person at the right time. To achieve this goal, we propose a unified deep intent prediction network, named EdgeDIPN, which is deployed at the edge, i.e., mobile device, and able to monitor multiple user intent with different granularity simultaneously in real-time. We propose to train EdgeDIPN with multi-task learning, by which EdgeDIPN can share representations between different tasks for better performance and saving edge resources in the meantime. In particular, we propose a novel task-specific attention mechanism which enables different tasks to pick out the most relevant features from different data sources. To extract the shared representations more effectively, we utilize two kinds of attention mechanisms, where the multi-level attention mechanism tries to identify the important actions within each data source and the inter-view attention mechanism learns the interactions between different data sources. In the experiments conducted on a large-scale industrial dataset, EdgeDIPN significantly outperforms the baseline solutions. Moreover, EdgeDIPN has been deployed in the operational system of Alibaba. Online A/B testing results in several business scenarios reveal the potential of monitoring user intent in real-time. To the best of our knowledge, EdgeDIPN is the first full-fledged real-time user intent understanding center deployed at the edge and serving hundreds of millions of users in a large-scale e-commerce platform.
