Digitalization in every industry continues to develop, which is also happened to the music industry. Music streaming applications are a technology that is in great demand today. Spotify is an on-demand music service application that is popular among music lovers. Spotify offers a free package and paid (premium) package services. The difference between the two service models lies in the quality and different service features. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the influence of brand image, product quality, price, and promotion on premium package purchase decisions on the Spotify music streaming application. Research data obtained by survey method using a questionnaire. With a sample of 100 respondents. The analysis technique used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the AMOS 22 program. The results of this study showed that brand image, product quality, price, and promotion simultaneously have a positive effect on purchasing decision. Then brand image and product quality variables partially have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, evidenced by the value of each CR is greater than 1.96 (CR> 1.96) and the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (P <0.05).

This study aims to investigate the impact of parental career behaviors on undergraduate student’s career exploration and the mediating role of career self-efficacy. In the literature it is suggested that some social and individual factors facilitate students’ career exploration. Therefore, parental career behaviors and career self-efficacy is considered as predictors of student’s career exploration attitudes within the scope of the study. In this respect, data which are collected from 405 undergraduate students having an education on tourism and hotel management field by the survey method are analyzed by using the structural equation modeling. The results of the study indicate that parental career behaviors which are addressed support; interference and lack of engagement have a significant effect on student’s career exploration behaviors such as intended-systematic exploration, environment exploration and self-exploration. In addition, it has been found that one of the dimensions of parental career behaviors addressed as a lack of engagement has a significant effect on career self-efficacy levels of students. However, research results indicate that student’s career self-efficacy has a significant effect on only the self-exploration dimension. On the other hand, career self-efficacy has a partial mediating role between lack of engagement attitudes of parents and career exploration behaviors of students.

The tight competition in the banking industry has forced management to be creative in serving customers. Research related to product quality and service excellence has been carried out, but the research is still done partially. This research combines product quality and service excellence by utilizing customer satisfaction as a mediating variable in the decision to save again. The study population was customers of deposit accounts. This study used purposive sampling, with a number of respondents as many as 125 people. The analysis technique used was structural equation modeling, the collected data was then processed using AMOS software. After analysis, all hypotheses submitted in this study were considered to be acceptable. The managerial implications of the research are that the service excellence provided by the bank must be a service that can truly be directly felt and provide benefits, so that it can satisfy customers.

This study aims to analyze empirical evidence of the effect of product quality on brand image and its impact on purchasing decisions on Aldo Shoes products at Mall Kelapa Gading 2 North Jakarta. Samples obtained as many as 90 respondents, sampling techniques using non-probability sampling, namely sampling techniques that provide equal opportunities for each element (member) of the population to be selected as sample members. Analysis of the data used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).The results of this study indicate that product quality on brand image has a positive and significant effect, so that if the quality of the product gets better the brand image will increase. Product quality on purchasing decisions has a positive and significant effect, so that if the quality of the product gets better the purchasing decision will increase. Brand image of purchasing decisions has a positive and significant effect, so that if the brand image of the product is increasingly attached to the minds of consumers, purchasing decisions will increase. Purpose The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of knowledge management (KM) in terms of organizational performance using structural equation modeling. To enhance organizational performance, KM is used as a powerful strategic tool. The factors such as management commitment, leadership and organizational culture are the KM enabler’s conditions, and the step processes of KM are knowledge capture, creation, organizing/storing and transfer, and through this, KM is analyzed on organizational performance in the context of leathers manufacturing company. This study constructs with questionnaire consist of 34 variables. Design/methodology/approach There are about 101 samples that were collected through the questionnaire survey method in the leather companies in Ranipet. The data were collected from executives and associates in the leather companies. Data were analyzed using the SPSS tool and SMART PLS tool used for framing a research model and the hypothesized relationships were tested through partial least squares structural equation modeling technique. Findings The finding of this study is mandatory to implement a structured KM practice in the leather companies. Application of KM is quite an impact on organizational performance, which leads to profitability and productivity. Originality/value This is the first paper to empirically investigate the KM enablers, process and support for the role of KM practices at leather industry. Further, the positioning of KM practices as a strategic competitive tool can be considered as an influential factor to organizational performance.

We examined the factors affecting consumer purchase intention of a cosmetic product after the Fukushima nuclear incident and the role of distinctiveness in postcrisis recovery. Through a 2-group experiment and structural equation modeling, we found that the incident did not affect the firm's reputation and brand image but it was perceived as a significant threat to health and product safety that consequently negatively affected purchasing intentions. Findings also showed that high distinctiveness is a valid factor in diminishing the impact of crisis. In particular, a firm's reputation and indirect effects on revenue are least affected by, or even positively related to distinctiveness. We have included discussion of the critical implications for firms around the importance of maintaining desirable relationships with the public as preparation for a crisis and for rapid postcrisis recovery.

Purpose Although the prominence of brand logo for companies is widely acknowledged, a close examination of the literature reveals lack of empirical research pertaining to effect of brand logo on consumer perception toward brand. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to fill the gap in marketing studies concerning the effect of a logo on consumer evaluations. The research addresses two questions: first, how brand logo favorability helps to increase brand image; and second, how brand logo form consumer perceptions toward brand through brand personality dimensions and brand familiarity? Design/methodology/approach The data were collected from 816 respondents using mall-intercept technique. Structural equation modeling via AMOS was conducted to test the proposed model to gain insight into the various relevant influences and relationships. Findings The findings revealed the importance of the company’s brand logo in enhancing the brand image. The results further highlighted that brand personality dimensions and brand familiarity mediate the relationship between brand logo and brand image. Practical implications The study offers managers a new perspective for building strong brand identity with the help of logos along with the brand personality dimensions and brand familiarity to enhance brand image. Originality/value This study provides novel insights on the impact of brand logo on brand image. This is the first study to determine the mediating role of brand personality in the relationship between brand logo and brand image. It thereby adds to the literature of visual identity by developing the sphere of influence of brand logo and its effects toward brands.

The Background of this research was the trend of companies’ outsourcing human resource (expertise and specialists) to accomplish tasks more cheaply and efficiently to increase productivity. The objective of this research was to find out the impact of employees’ perception of outsourcing human resource on their job satisfaction and turnover intention. To achieve this objective the quantitative research has been done by using explanatory survey method. The design of this research applies quantitative approach. The samples for the study consisted of 115 human resource division employees of three Banks in Jakarta. The primary data in this research was obtained by using closed ended questionnaires. Non probability sampling method with the convenience sampling technique was employed to select the sample. Data analysis used in this research was Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research concludes that employees’ positive perception of outsourcing human resource increases their job satisfaction and decreases their turnover intention whereas negative perception of outsourcing human resource decreases job satisfaction and subsequently increases turnover intention. Based on the result of the research, it is important that a company outsource human resource to increase productivity.
