Vocational High School Number 3 Mukomuko was the school that has given assistance for the learners. It was by exempting learners from paying committee charge monthly, it called Bantuan Komite Sekolah (BKS). In order to give motivation for the learners who was unfortunate to keep staying at the school, so it can make the learners to keep going on teaching and learning process (KBM). This research used Topsis method by collecting data for the prospective scholarship learners as many as 20 learners by categorizes were parents’ revenue, the total numbers of duties, the distance of residence, the average score of report and the condition of living environment. The result of try out from 20 learners who was obtain BKS by using Topsis Method showed that there were 18 learners who were significant to obtain scholarship by validity score was 90%. It was be a sample, before Topsis Method was used and the data was reliable after using Topsis Method. The development of supporting decision application system used Topsis Method that was getting in more accurated qualification. Futhermore, this system can help the school in constructing decisions to get the result be more advantageous in determining for the next BKS recipients.

AbstrakPembelajaran berbasis proyek merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran menurut kurikulum 2013. Pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki karakteristik yang berbeda dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Guru SMK harus mampu mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menghasilkan aspek keterampilan kerja. Salah satu masalah paling kritis dalam proses belajar mengajar Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan adalah keengganan dan kreativitas guru yang kurang untuk menemukan cara agar pembelajaran lebih kreatif dan menyenangkan. Untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman siswa tentang suatu materi yang telah diajarkan dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru harus memberikan tugas kepada siswa. Penugasan dapat dilakukan dengan model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (PjBL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam desain deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan tiga guru Bahasa Inggris SMK di Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Provinsi Riau sebagai responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara semi terstruktur sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa guru memiliki persepsi positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek perlu dilakukan oleh guru di kelas Bahasa Inggris sebagai salah satu model dalam proses belajar mengajar karena berfokus pada siswa.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek, Persepsi Guru, dan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. AbstractProject-based learning is one of the recommended learning models to be used in learning according to the 2013 curriculum. The implementation of the learning process in Vocational High Schools have different characteristics from the implementation of learning in Senior High Schools. Vocational high school teachers must be able to develop learning models that can produce aspects of work skills. One of the most critical problems in teaching and learning English at Vocational High School is teachers’ unwillingness and less creativity to find ways to make learning more creative and fun. To find out what extent students understand about the material that has been taught in the teaching and learning process, the teachers must give assignments to the students. The assignments can be done with the model Project-Based Learning. The aim of this study was to investigate how teachers’ perception about project-based learning. This research conducted in descriptive qualitative design which involved three vocational high school English teachers in Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province as respondents. This research used semi-structured interview as an instrument to collect the data. The result of the analysis showed that teachers have positive perception toward project-based learning. Learning facilities and infrastructure as the factor strongly assumed to influence students learning motivation. Based on the results regression analysis of data collected through a survey method with a closed-ended questionnaire distributed to 50 respondents in one of private vocational high school student in Bandung. It is found that learning facilities and infrastructure have an effect on students learning motivation. The findings can have implications on the teaching and learning process. The implication are also for education researchers to consider learning facilities and infrastructure as predictors or variables of better students learning motivation.ABSTRAKSarana dan prasarana pembelajaran merupakan faktor yang tidak dapat di abaikan keberadaan dan peranannya sebagai factor pendukung terhadap keberhasilan kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah. Dukungan sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran sangatlah nyata terutama terhadap tumbuhnya motivasi belajar para siswa dan pada gilirannya kelak akan memberikan efek yang berarti  terhadap hasil belajar mereka. Dengan kata lain bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran memberikan pengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar para siswa. Hal tersebut terbukti secara empirik berdasarkan hasil penelitian pada salah satu  Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan swasta di Bandung dengan melibatkan 50 siswanya sebagai responden. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran memiliki hubungan langsung dan kuat dengan motivasi belajar mereka. Hal tersebut dapat diartikan bahwa sarana dan prasarana belajar memberikan pengaruh kuat terhadap motivasi belajar mereka. Dengan demikian dapat dinyatakan bahwa sarana dan prasarana pembelajaran merupakan factor determinan  terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

The purposes of this study were: 1) to obtain evaluation instrument of vocational high school history certified teacher’s performance, and 2) to know the level performance of vocational high school certified teacher. This study used descriptive quantitative method. Validator of this study were 6 evaluation experts where in the operational trial consists of 3 vocational school teachers, 3 principals, and 60 students of SMK I Yogyakarta, SMK 1 Sewon Bantul, and SMK 2 Sewon Bantul. The result of the study shows that (1) the performance assessment instrument of certified history teachers is declared eligible by the experts with a mean score of 4.23 and have a good readability with a score of 4.12 (assessed by three principals, three teachers and six students); (2) the performance level of vocational history teacher who has been certified educator in Yogyakarta showed the average score of 4.20, which categorized as excellent. Based on the assessment, the score was 4.28 assessed by teachers or categorized as excellent; 4.26 assessed by principals or categorized as excellent; and 4.12 assessed by students or categorized as good. Validator dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 6 orang pakar evaluasi, dan dalam uji operasional lapangan terdiri dari 3 guru SMK, 3 kepala sekolah, dan 60 siswa yang diambil dari SMK I Yogyakarta, SMK 1 Sewon Bantul, dan SMK 2 Sewon Bantul. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) instrumen penilaian kinerja guru sejarah SMK yang sudah bersertifikat pendidik di nyatakan layak oleh para ahli dengan rerata skor sebesar 4.23 dan memiliki keterbacaan yang baik skor 4.12 berdasarkan penilaian 3 kepala sekolah, 3 guru dan 6 siswa, (2) tingkat kinerja guru sejarah SMK yang sudah bersertifikat pendidik di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta menunjukkan rerata skor 4.20 yang berarti kinerja guru sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian guru rerata skor menunjukkan 4.28 atau sangat baik, kepala sekolah 4.26 sangat baik, dan hasil penilaian siswa 4.12 atau kriteria baik. Sedangkan secara keseluruhan kinerja guru komponen perencanaan memperoleh skor 4.22 kategori sangat baik, komponen pelaksanaan pembelajaran 4.20 kategori sangat baik, dan komponen evaluasi pembelajaran sebesar 4.19 atau kategori baik.Kata kunci: instrumen, kinerja guru sejarah, SMK, profesi pendidik

Teaching speaking of descriptive text in vocational high school should be in systematic way. Based on the syllabus of K13, the students had to master the generic structure and organization in descriptive text. The researcher tried to explore the teaching-learning process in the eleventh grade of SMK Kartika. This research used descriptive qualitative research. It focused on understanding the teaching-learning process from the teacher’s viewpoint of this research. This descriptive research required the researcher to explain scientifically the fact, events, and characteristics of the subject. The teacher had prepared the entire requirement of teaching and learning equipment such as attendance list, syllabus, lesson plan, media, and evaluation form. Then the teacher used the picture a media in teaching speaking descriptive text. Most of the students at eleventh graders could overcome that problem during learning speaking descriptive text. 90 % of students could comprehend the material well and 10% of students could not comprehend the material.  It indicated that some of the students understood the teacher’s explanation about the descriptive text.

Abstrak: Media pembelajaran menjadi pilihan untuk menunjang proses belajar yang menyenangkan dan menarik bagi siswa dan juga memperkuat motivasi, serta untuk menanamkan pemahaman pada siswa tentang materi yang diajarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Life Skill untuk siswa SMK Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian dan pengembangan. Prosedur pengembangan media pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE. Selanjutnya dilakukan validasi pada media yang telah dirancang. hasil penelitian ini yaitu pengembangan media pembelajaran berada dalam kategori Sangat Baik, berdasarkan penilaian dan validasi dari ahli media, ahli materi dan respon siswa. Hasil validasi dari ahli Media memperoleh rata-rata 93,33%, ahli materi 88,33% dan respon siswa sebagai pengguna adalah 90%. Dengan hasil ini, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dapat diterapkan dalam proses belajar mengajar sesuai dengan materi dan kompetensi yang akan dicapai. Kata Kunci: Media Pembelajaran, Life Skill, SMK, Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik. Abstract: Learning media is an option to support a fun and interesting learning process for students and also strengthen motivation, and to instill understanding in students about the material being taught. The purpose of this study was to develop Life Skill-based interactive learning media for Vocational High School Electrical Power Installation Engineering students. This study uses a research and development model. The learning media development procedure used in this study adapted from the ADDIE model. Furthermore, validation is carried out on the media that has been designed. The results of this study are the development of learning media in the Very Good category, based on the assessment and validation of media experts, material experts and student responses. The results of the validation of the media expert obtained an average of 93.33%, the material expert was 88.33% and the student response as a user was 90%. With these results, the learning media developed can be applied in the teaching and learning process in accordance with the material and competencies to be achieved.. Keywords: Learning Media, Life Skills, Vocational High School, Electrical Power Installation Engineering.

This study aims to determine the interaction between teachers and students that occur in the process of learning Mathematics with jigsaw model in junior high school in Surakarta using FIAC (Flanders Interaction Analysis Condition) analysis. This study includes qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study are teachers and students of 8th grade of junior high school in Surakarta and students' learning achievement sheets. The object of research is the interaction of teachers and students in the learning of mathematics, including the sense of receiving, giving praise, how teacher teaches the material, how the teacher directs the students, how the teacher gives criticism, student responses, student speech initiative and the level of silence or crowd. Data collection methods used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained in the form of qualitative data in the form of observation results of teacher and student interaction, interview transcript and documentation of teaching and learning activities. The data obtained were analyzed by FIAC. The result of the research shows that jigsaw learning process is: 1) the interaction between teacher and student in the learning of mathematics is multi direction. The research results are confirmed by the value of Teacher Response Ratio (RRG) that is equal to 44.48% and the value of Student Initiative Ratio (RIS) of 43.47%; 2) The learning done by the teacher is successful. The success of multi-direction learning is evidenced by the average score of the student achievement test of 78.30. The value is categorized into either category.

The current study, which is a classroom action research, aims to improve: (1) the learning process; and (2) the social skill and civics learning outcome of the XI graders of TITL vocational high school of SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun through implementing PBL assisted by digital literacy. This involved 35 students and lasted from August 2019 to February 2020. Data were gathered through (1) interview, (2) observation, (3) document, (4) assignments/tests. On the basis of the 4 cycles, it was found that the average score of the social skill of: cycle 1 was 61.23; cycle 2 was 72.03; cycle 3 was 82.09. There was improvement as much as 10.80 from cycle 1 to cycle 2, and 10.06 from cycle 2 to cycle 3. Regarding learning outcome, the average scores were: cycle 1 = 65.00; cycle 2 = 71.14, and cycle 3 = 76.71. There were, therefore, improvement as much as 6.15 from cycle 1 to cycle 2 and 5.57 from cycle 2 to cycle 3. To put in brief, implementing PBL assisted by digital literacy to the XI graders of TITL vocational high school of SMK Gamaliel 1 Madiun improved their: (1) social skill, and (2) civics learning outcome.

Teachers are facilitators that assist students to make the learning process easier and more comfortale. Techer question is a part of learning process. The  aim  of  this  research  is to  find out the types  of  questions  asked  by teachers  in  teaching  and  learning  process.  This  research  is  descriptive  research.  Participant of this research are two English teachers at SMP PGRI Bandung. The  data  collection  used  two  instruments  namely    audio  recording  and  note taking.  From  this  research,  researcher  found  that  open ended questions are mostly occur in the classroom beside ; yes/no questions, short answer   questions,   display   questions,   referential   questions   and   non   retrieval questions. During research, there are three kind of languages used by teachers, they are English, mixed English –Indonesian, and Indonesian.

<em>This study intended to describe how the process of teaching and learning using WebQuest can develop the ninth graders’ writing ability of report text. The subjects included the 15 ninth graders. The students were taught to be able to write report texts by using WebQuest after they visit the web addresses given in the two cycles of classroom action research. Their writing ability achievement and the information on students’ interaction during the teaching and learning process were attained by overseeing writing products at the end of each cycle and by using observation checklists and field notes. The result indicated that WebQuest was successful in developing the students’ writing ability of report texts. The comparison of the students’ scores in the preliminary study and in Cycle 2 was significantly developed. In preliminary study, the students’ average score was 50.8. While in the cycle two, the students’ score was 76.8.</em>
