The paper considers the issues of increasing the reliability of agricultural machinery through the use of reinforcing processing of recovered machine parts by plastic deformation, which provides an increase in the quality of their surface layer during recovery. The operational stability of the piston fingers and the upper heads of the connecting rods restored by vibration reinforcement on the engines working in the mechanized agricultural complex was carried out: tractor - agricultural machine - car. Studies have shown that the amount of wear of piston fingers restored by the vibration deformation method is 1.23 times smaller than the traditional method of recovery, which confirms the effectiveness of vibration technology. Technological processes of restoration of discs of diggers of beet harvesters, discs of coulters of grain planers, plow blades with use of vibrating vibrations of the processing tool are developed and put into production. The results of these developments showed an increase of 1.21 times the time of beet harvester harvesting with the diggers' wheels with the vibration-strengthened method; an increase in technical use factor of 1.07 times, compared to new 65G steel wheels. To improve the reliability of the PLN-5-35, PLN-3-35 plows, the technology of restoration of working bodies - blades is developed and introduced into production, which provides for increase of their durability and durability. The coefficient of technical use of the plow units with the blades restored by the developed technology is 1.01 times higher than that of the plow units with the new blades made of 65G steel. The wear rate of the toe, width and thickness of the blade are 1.51 respectively; 1.22 and 1.27 times less than the new 65G steel blades. The results of the study of vibrating reinforcing processing of working bodies of agricultural machinery help to increase their resource, which provides increased reliability of machines.

Modern machines are subject to progressive wear that occurs at different rates, which leads to unpredictable failures that reduce the reliability and durability of machines. The strategy of maintenance and repair is aimed at eliminating these problems. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in analyzing the basic principles of the strategy of maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery in order to ensure control of the technical condition of machine parts. (Materials and methods) When resource diagnostics is used, , the allowable value of the parameter is set in advance for a part . This value is the tolerance that corresponds to a certain wear rate of the part. The tolerance is set based on the condition that if the current value of the controlled resource parameter during the next diagnosis is less than the set value, then such a part at the current value of the wear rate can be finalized until the next inter-control check. Taking into account the wear rate of the same type of parts from the group when determining the allowable wear during their resource diagnostics becomes an urgent task. (Results and discussions) As a result of research, the article presents "Methodology for determining the main indicators of reliability of parts of agricultural machines with different wear rates" and "Methodology for determining the tolerance system of parts of agricultural machines with different wear rates". (Conclusions) The article presents the tolerance system that reduces the probability of failure of machine parts in operation. During resource diagnostics, those parts whose resource parameters exceed the tolerance are rejected.

Проблема и цель. Установлено, что функциональное действие машин в значительной мере определяется параметрами качества их поверхностного слоя. Цель работы – обеспечение качества поверхностного слоя деталей одним из наиболее эффективных способов, обеспечивающих управление в широком диапазоне показателями качества обработки деталей поверхностным пластическим деформированием (ОУО ППД). Одни и те же параметры качества поверхностного слоя можно получить, используя различные методы и режимы ОУО ППД. Для их оценки необходимо определение трудоемкости операции. Следовательно, имеет место совокупность научно-технических задач, решение которых позволяет разработать методологию, алгоритм и программу выбора оптимального метода и условий ОУО ППД, обеспечивающих требуемые параметры качества поверхности при минимальной технологической себестоимости, что дает значительный экономический эффект. Методология. Одним из способов обработки деталей при восстановлении служит алмазное выглаживание после процесса шлифования. Выглаживатель – кристаллический алмаз – перераспределят металл поверхностного слоя, при этом меняется микрорельеф. После алмазного выглаживания увеличивается надежность, долговечность деталей, износостойкость. Для достижения цели предлагается использование двухзвенных оправок, которые позволяют исключить биение обрабатываемой поверхности. Структурный эквивалент механизма близок к кривошипно-шатунному механизму, в отличие от которого радиус обрабатываемой детали распределяется по дуге. Изменения силы выглаживания устанавливают связь между статической силой и силой инерции. Статическую силу сглаживания можно определить, зная основные технологические параметры и процессы. Сила инерции зависит от массы подвижного звена оправки. Результаты. Результаты настоящего исследования показали: к числу задаваемых параметров относятся масса подвижного звена оправки, диаметр детали, скорость скольжения, эксцентриситет, постоянная механизма и сила инерции. Найдены разрешенные частоты вращения в зависимости от диаметра детали. Заключение. Данная методика может быть применена для восстановления рабочих поверхностей поршневых пальцев автотракторных дизельных двигателей сельскохозяйственного назначения и позволяет снизить уровень шероховатости поверхности обрабатываемых деталей. Problem and purpose. Problem and purpose. It has been established that the functional action of machines is largely determined by the quality parameters of their surface layer. The purpose of the work is to ensure the quality of the surface layer of parts by one of the most effective methods that provides control over a wide range of quality indicators for processing parts by surface plastic deformation (SPD). The same parameters of the quality of the surface layer can be obtained using different methods and modes of SPD. To assess them, it is necessary to determine the complexity of the operation. Consequently, there is a set of scientific and technical problems, the solution of which makes it possible to develop a methodology, an algorithm and a program for choosing the optimal method and conditions for SPD, which provide the required surface quality parameters at a minimum technological cost, that gives a significant economic effect. Methodology. One of the methods of processing parts during restoration is diamond burnishing after the grinding process. The smoother or the crystal diamond will redistribute the metal of the surface layer, thus changing the microrelief. After diamond burnishing, reliability, durability of parts, and wear resistance increase. To achieve the goal, it is proposed to use two-link mandrels, which allow to exclude the beating of the treated surface. The structural equivalent of the mechanism is close to the crank gear, in contrast to which the radius of the workpiece is distributed along the arc. Changes in the smoothing force establish a relationship between static force and inertial force. The static smoothing force can be determined by knowing the basic technological parameters and processes. The force of inertia depends on the mass of the moving link of the mandrel. Results. The results of this study showed that the parameters set included the mass of the movable link of the mandrel, the diameter of the part, the sliding speed, the eccentricity, the constant of the mechanism and the force of inertia. The permitted speeds were found depending on the diameter of the part. Conclusion. This technique can be used to restore the working surfaces of the piston pins of automotive diesel engines for agricultural purposes and can reduce the level of surface roughness of the processed parts

Abstract The development of agricultural technologies, the mechanization of the cultivation of ordinary crops for a long time has gone differently in different ways. The working bodies of agricultural machines process various materials, the number of which is increasing. In addition, the way the same material is processed often changes when trying to improve agricultural technologies. All this forces us to create new mechanisms of agriculture that were previously known. The use of replaceable gear bodies on flat cutting cultivators helps to reduce the energy intensity the process and improve the quality of non-falling soil. To protect against it, various agricultural techniques are recommended: plowing along the entire slope, deepening the arable layer, the formation of irregularities on the surface of arable land in the form of holes, intermittent furrows. The article describes the mechanized protection of the soil of the technological process and technical means for growing crops on erosive lands on the slope. Methodology for improving agricultural machinery for working on the slope of erosive dangerous lands. Ways to increase the stability of the movement of agricultural machines on slopes to improve the quality of technological operations are justified. The operating mode of the active disk needle is described.

The problem of quality control of agricultural machinery parts by means of dynamic non-destructive methods of impact indentation of conical shape indenters is considered. Quality of the crucial parts is considered from the point of view of a set of mechanical characteristics that determine the strength, hardness, wear resistance and deformability. These characteristics must be known and be able to control on all the details promptly and accurately both in the manufacturing process and in operation. The mechanical characteristics of metals are stochastic in nature. For this purpose, an impact indentation device was developed, and the method based on probabilistic laws of dispersion of mechanical characteristics is obtained.

Dependences for determining geometric, physical and mechanical parameters of the surface layer quality, wear resistance, corrosion rate and endurance limit depending on the modes and conditions of electroerosion treatment of machine parts have been given. These dependences allow determining optimal modes and conditions of electroerosion treatment to ensure the required parameters of the quality of the surface layer (with a two–stage approach - design and technological support of operational properties), wear resistance, corrosion rate and endurance limit (with a single-stage approach - direct technological support).

The article identifies the existing types of troubleshooting of self- propelled agricultural machinery. Taking into account the wear rate of the same type of parts from the group of parts of the same name when determining the permissible wear during their resource diagnostics is an urgent problem. The article presents the resource parameter and its influence on the reliability indicators of machine parts. (Research purpose) The research purpose is in determining the basic principles of the strategy of maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery in order to ensure control of the technical condition of machine parts, in particular, to increase the reliability of hydraulic drive parts. (Materials and methods) The article presents the options for maintenance strategies, the disadvantages and advantages of each of them. (Results and discussion) The article presents standard maintenance strategies: according to the need, planned preventive, according to the condition and justifies the optimal type of maintenance, taking into account the wear rate of each specific part. Authors performed an analysis of the algorithm for carrying out maintenance in each case individually. The tolerance is set based on the condition: if the current value of the controlled resource parameter during the next diagnosis turns out to be less than the set value, then such a part at the current value of the wear rate will be able to refine it until the next inter-control check. (Conclusions) The choice of a maintenance strategy has an important role in increasing the reliability of hydraulic drive parts of agricultural machines. A strategy has been developed that takes into account the wear rate of each specific part and the culling is carried out taking into account the wear rate of each part individually. Parts with a high wear rate are rejected first, and parts with a low wear rate are the last.

The main causes of failure of heavily loaded threads are considered. The methods of increasing the efficiency of the equipment due to the method used are proposed. It is found that improving the operational characteristics of the components of mining and metallurgical machinery can be achieved forming heterogeneous-hardened surface layer. Methods of forming heterogeneous structure by surface plastic deformation (SPD are considered). The importance of identifying the nature of the influence of parameters of heterogeneous hardened layer on the performance of machine parts is indicated. Modeling of process heterogeneous hardening of SPD of the finite element method is executed. Recommendations about application of heterogeneous hardening of SPD for hardening the heavy-duty parts are offered. It is found that the use of different methods SPD allows widely vary the degree of depth and the uniformity of the hardening of machine parts. It is found that this increase in life responsible highly loaded parts operating under fatigue loading due to hardening of the heterogeneous surface layer may reach 1.5 times or more.

В работе приведены результаты экспериментального исследования шероховатости обработанной поверхности с использованием различных методов анализа данных таких, как анализ Фурье-спектров. Также в работе процесс механической обработки рассматривается с позиции мезомеханики, что дает возможность по-новому оценить процесс стружкообразования. В работе говорится о том, что шероховатость обработанной поверхности, как выходной параметр процесса резания, оказывает особое влияние не только на качество поверхностного слоя, но и на эксплуатационные характеристики деталей машин, работающих в экстремальных условиях таких, как морская среда и тому подобное. Также, в работе рассмотрена природа формирования микронеровностей на поверхности деталей после механической обработки, перечислены факторы, влияющие на параметры шероховатости. Сделаны выводы о том, от чего зависят различные частоты микронеровностей обработанной поверхности. The paper presents the results of an experimental study of the roughness of the treated surface using various methods of data analysis, such as the analysis of Fourier spectra. Also in the work, the process of mechanical processing is considered from the standpoint of mesomechanics, which makes it possible to re-evaluate the process of chip formation. The paper says that the roughness of the treated surface, as an output parameter of the cutting process, has a special effect not only on the quality of the surface layer, but also on the performance characteristics of machine parts operating in extreme conditions such as the marine environment and the like. Also, the paper considers the nature of the formation of micro-roughness on the surface of parts after machining, and lists the factors that affect the roughness parameters. Conclusions are drawn about what determines the different frequencies of micro-roughness of the treated surface.
