The objective of this work was to collect information on the curative use of plants in the municipality of Teziutlán, Puebla through semi-structured interviews. Thus, 78 plants used for medicinal purposes were identified, of which 40 are native to Mexico and 38 introduced; The value of use (UV) of each one and the Informant's Consensus Factor (FCI) of 10 categories of diseases were calculated. The five most frequently used plants are Ruta chalepensisL., Rosmarinus officinalis, Arnica montana, Loeselia mexicana(Lam.) Brandegee and Sambucus ceruleavar., Neomexicana, which underwent a chemical and pharmacological review. On the other hand, the most frequent preparations are infusion and decoction, using mainly leaves (49.34%) and flowers (19.51%). It is concluded that the inhabitants of Teziutlán have a fairly homogeneous ethnomedical knowledge, setting the standard for research on its pharmacological properties.

In this paper, we argue that a focus on favouritism magnifies a central ethical ambiguity in leadership, both conceptually and in practice. The social process of favouritism can even go unnoticed, or misrecognised if it does not manifest in a form in which it can be either included or excluded from what is (collectively interpreted as) leadership. The leadership literature presents a tension between what is an embodied and relational account of the ethical, on the one hand, and a more dispassionate organisational ‘justice’ emphasis, on the other hand. We conducted 23 semi-structured interviews in eight consultancy companies, four multinationals and four internationals. There were ethical issues at play in the way interviewees thought about favouritism in leadership episodes. This emerged in the fact that they were concerned with visibility and conduct before engaging in favouritism. Our findings illustrate a bricolage of ethical justifications for favouritism, namely utilitarian, justice, and relational. Such findings suggest the ethical ambiguity that lies at the heart of leadership as a concept and a practice.

SummaryThis study compares the incidence of a variety of cutaneous conditions among 91 patients treated with lithium carbonate with the incidence of such conditions among 44 patients treated with other non-neuroleptic, maintenance medications. Data on cutaneous conditions and allergies were obtained using structured interviews, demographic data, medication histories and personal and family histories.A significantly greater proportion of the lithium-treated patients than the comparison patients reported a cutaneous condition which may have been secondary to treatment in that it developed for the first time after the medication or appeared to have been exacerbated by the medication. Among the lithium-treated patients, females were found to be significantly more likely to report a secondary cutaneous condition. This effect was found across the whole range of cutaneous conditions. Male lithium-treated patients on the other hand reported approximately the same rate of secondary cutaneous conditions as both male and female comparison patients. Possible reasons for this sexual effect on incidence are discussed.The literature on cutaneous conditions which have been associated with lithium therapy is also reviewed.

Due to the hazardous current cyber environment, cyber resilience is more necessary than ever. Companies are exposed to an often-ignored risk of suffering a cyber incident. This places cyber incidents as one of the main risks for companies in the past few years. On the other hand, the literature meant to aid on the operationalization of cyber resilience is mostly focused on listing the policies required to operationalize it, but is often lacking on how to prioritize these actions and how to strategize their implementation. Therefore, the usage of the current literature in this state is not optimal for companies. Thus, this study proposes a progression model to help companies strategize and prioritize cyber resilience policies by proposing the natural evolution of the policies over time. To develop the model, this study used semi-structured interviews and an analysis of the data obtained from the interviews. Through this methodology, this study found the starting points for each cyber resilience policy and their natural progression over time. These results can help companies in their cyber resilience building process by giving them insights on how to strategize the implementation of the cyber resilience policies.

The self-interview questions the creative process of publishing a new issue of Adept (year V, number 2) in which 48 structured interviews aim at presenting the new theatre generation most commonly described as ‘young’. The contribution discusses the process of developing the content and the form of the journal and establishes the key findings that can be discerned from the collection of interviewees. Firstly, it emphasizes the inability to search for a common view on making theatre, which questions whether the term ‘generation’ is even appropriate. We can find at least as many poetics as there are artists. On the level of production, on the other hand, the majority of interviewees list hyperproduction and precarity as the two conditions that have the most influence and slow down the creative development the most.

Aims: The purpose of this study is to identify the medicinal plants used in the bistros and to determine the preference between the consumption of Koutoukou alone or the Koutoukou mixture associated with medicinal plants in the city of Abidjan. Place and Duration: Pharmacodynamic Biochemical Laboratory, Faculty of Biosciences, University Félix Houphouët-Boigny, between December 2017 and June 2018. Methodology: The investigation took place in the neighborhoods of Abobo, Cocody, Koumassi and Yopougon. This is an open-ended questionnaire intended for consumers of Koutoukou alone and  association of medicinal Plants-Koutoukou. The identity, the region, the marital and professional status of the consumers on the one hand, the ethnobotany of the medicinal plants used and their associations with Koutoukou on the other hand were considered. Results: This study identified 12 species of medicinal plants commonly used in bistros. 70% of the surveyed population prefer and consume more cocktails at the expense of simple koutoukou. The Garcinia kola-Koutoukou combination is the most significantly consumed cocktail (Number of treated illnesses greater than 10). Conclusion: This descriptive study resulted in the identification of 12 medicinal plants commonly used in the bistros of 4 Commune of the city of Abidjan and consumed in association with Koutoukou. The populations of these municipalities (70%) greatly appreciate. The Most consumed is the association of Garcinia kola-Koutoukou  for his righ rate of healing.

The objective of this study is to determine the type of governance of the four main agricultural value chains in Tamaulipas, northeast of Mexico. For the preparation of this research used a qualitative design, using a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews to a sample of representatives of the four selected chains. The results showed that in all the studied networks, control and coordination capacity is limited by the influence that has a link on the rest of the chain. In all cases, was that the industrial link is who leads the chains and exert control over the rest of the links. The results showed that, when the industrial link is located close geographically to the rest of the links (chains of rice and sugar cane), the chains showed a hierarchical type, where the industrial exercised dominion over the rest of the links and captures most of the income. On the other hand, in chains where control is exercised by links that are outside the territory (chains of soybeans and sorghum), they function as captive chains, putting the rest of the chain to its influence and control.

There are numerous methods for risk identification and risk assessment phases. Which for risk identification includes historical and systematic approach and inductive or theoretical analysis. One of the main reasons why risk identification is very helpful is that it provides justification in many cases for any large IT investment and other large undertakings. Without it organization probably wouldn’t be able to come to conclusion. Also in this phase business recognize the threats, vulnerabilities, and assets associated with its IT systems. Together with risk assessment phase risk management specialist is responsible for determining asset value, what's the value of the asset business is protecting, and risk acceptance level. Risk assessment on the other hand examines impact or consequence, as well as examines and evaluates the likelihood or probability of that adverse event happening. Risk assessment includes methods like Bayesian analysis, Bow Tie Analysis, brainstorming or structured interviews, business impact analysis, cause and consequence, cause-and-effect analysis, Delphi method, event tree analysis, fault tree analysis, hazard analysis, hazard and operational studies, and finally structured what if technique or SWIFT process. Risk assessment has two distinctive assessment types- quantitative and qualitative assessment. Quantitative assessment tries to put a monetary value on all risks. Qualitative assessment on the other hand rather look at it from a range of values like low, medium, high. The results of these phases are going to be documented in the risk assessment report and reported to senior management.

Mystery shopping can be characterized as a marketing method used for anonymous and objective evaluation of the quality of provided services. The method helps the owner of the company, where the mystery shopping is applied, to gain better images of processes in the company, information about employee behavior towards customers, quality of provided services, environment, atmosphere, etc. It is realized by mystery shoppers who give the owner the information about used services gained by secret purchases. The aim of the paper is to examine the use of the mystery shopping method as a tool for evaluating the sales process in hospitality facilities. We research the use of mystery shopping from two points of view. On one hand, based on the structured interviews with managers of mystery shopping agencies and, on the other hand, based on structured interviews with managers of hospitality facilities that use mystery shopping method. All researched companies agreed on the statement that mystery shopping is very good primary impulse for changes in the company but ction devoted work of the management and all its employees is necessary.

Reporting is one of the basic processes in all organizations. Reports should offer relevant information for guiding the decision-making. Reporting provides information for planning and on the other hand it provides information for analyzing the correctness of the decisions made at the beginning of the processes. Reporting is based on the data the operational information systems contain. Reports can be produced directly from these operational databases, but an operational database is not organized in a way that naturally supports analysis. An alternative way is to organize the data in such a way that supports analysis easily. Typically this leads to the introduction of a data warehouse. In summer 2002 a multiple case study research was launched in six Finnish organizations. The research studied the databases of these organizations and identified the trends in database exploitation. One of the main ideas was to study the diffusion of database innovations. In practice this meant that the present database architecture was described and the future plans and present problems were identified. The data was mainly collected with semi-structured interviews and altogether 54 interviews were arranged. The research processed data of 44 different information systems. Most (40 %) of the analyzed information systems were online transaction processing systems like order-entry systems. Second biggest category (30 %) was information systems relating to decision support and reporting. Only one pilot data warehouse was among these, but on the other hand customized reporting systems was used for example in SOK, SSP and OPTI. Reporting was anyway commonly recognized as an area where interviewees were not satisfied and improvements were hoped. Turku University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest of its kind in Finland with almost 9000 students and 33 Degree Programs. Our University is organized in six units of education that promote multidisciplinary learning. In autumn 2005 an enterprise resource planning system was introduced at Turku University of Applied Sciences. At the heart of this information system is a data warehouse collecting necessary information from the operational databases. This paper concentrates on briefly describing the identified problems in reporting in the earlier research and how a data warehouse might help overcoming these problems (a more thorough description is provided at (Kontio 2005)). These ideas are benchmarked with usage experiences of the data warehouse based ERP at Turku University of Applied Sciences resulting to some generalizations and confirmation.

The ability to cooperate with others in interorganisational dyads and networks is a source of competitive advantage for firms today. However, the question arises as to whether managers are aware of this and implement relational orientation as a strategy in their firms to obtain relational rent. The purpose of this paper is to provide an answer to this question. The research was conducted on 53 companies based in Poland using semi-structured interviews with executives. On one hand, the research results allowed recognition of the importance of and reasons for firms forming, developing, and withdrawing from interorganisational relations, and on the other hand, confirmed a relationship between a managers’ network awareness and the strategic relational orientation of their firms. The higher the manager’s network awareness, the more interorganisational relations a company forms with different partners, and the better the manager’s knowledge about their partners’ expectations and needs, which are then included in a company’s strategy.
