The results of physical fitness level of highly skilled football players in the preparatory and competitive periods of the annual macrocycle are presented. The study involved 34 players of Football Club “Zorya” (Lugansk city) aging from 20 to 30. In the annual cycle of football players training season 2018/2019, the training process was carried out in accordance with the current program. An experimental program was used in the first and second preparatory periods of the annual training cycle in the season 2019/2020. Insufficient efficiency of the traditional program of physical training of highly skilled football players in the preparatory and competitive periods of the annual training cycle has been established. The athlete’s training level was marked by optimal indicators of readiness only by tests that characterized the explosive strength and joint flexibility. Experimental program was developed in order to increase the efficiency of the training process of highly skilled football players. The main feature of this program was the use of three innovative methods of modern fitness training: MAX®, Tabata, HIIT. Functional classes that based on the use of step platforms were offered instead of classical aerobics classes. The results of the physical fitness testing of FC “Zorya” football players at the end of the preparatory periods of the 2019/2020 season indicated a significantly better level of athlete’s readiness for the next competitive periods comparing to the corresponding periods of the previous season. Experimental program effectiveness was confirmed by the results of the FC “Zorya” team in the championship of the Ukrainian Premier League 2019/2020.

The purpose of the article is to get and summarize the data obtained in the new study, namely the change in the indicators of the functional state of 11-12 year-old players having different typological peculiarities of the nervous system. The leading methods to research this problem are ascertaining and formative pedagogical experiment, theoretical analysis and summarizing of methodological literature and methods of mathematical statistics. The result is a change in the indicators of the functional status of 11-12 year-old children who play football, after using the methodology of the differential development of coordination abilities of players 11-12 years with different typology of the nervous system. Conclusion - the article can be useful for improving the outdated forms of coach’s training and instructors in football and other sports, and also can be used in the training process of football players with different skills. The urgency of the theme is caused by the search of modernization of training process in football reserve, which would increase the functional status of the children and improve their results in football.

Football 7 and Football 9 are worldwide famous – sport-game for children and adolescents from 7 to 12 Years. In this relation, the need for an in-depth analysis of the football training - in particular with the younger football players in our country - is of interest and current, by seeking new forms and diversifying the activities in the physical education and sports lessons that are in line with the national traditions, socio-economic conditions and leading European practices. Such an opportunity is provided by the gaming approach that seeks to explore, summarize and propose effective solutions to optimize football education. This study aims to identify and compare changes in indicators that inform on the specific preparation of pupils from the initial stage of primary education after applying a gaming approach to football education. After the end of the experimental period under the influence of normal biological development and under the influence of the applied gameplay approach with the students from the experimental group, there were significant positive changes. The developed gaming approach should be offered as an opportunity to diversify the organization of the physical education and sports training process in the initial stage of the primary education.

The direction of fitness aerobics contributes to the harmonious development of the child, the improvement of physical, intellectual, mental, as well as spiritual and moral qualities. When training movements, young players acquire the knowledge necessary for their conscious motor activity, gain experience in their implementation, including creative. In the process of learning motor actions in young athletes developed the need to improve their own nature, they create the prerequisites for the implementation of their own individuality. Mastering a variety of fitness aerobics complexes, engaged in the opportunity to improve, as well as they have formed a deeper interest and love to practice in the football section.

The aim of this research is to determine the differences between the aerobic functional abilities of football players from different positions in the team, which should serve as a starting point in planning and monitoring the training process of football players. VO2max, as a basic parameter of functional abilities, was obtained by applying a laboratory progressive test on the treadmill. The sample of respondents was composed of 57 respondents (GOD = 22.47 ± 3.78SD), football players of clubs competing in the first and second leagues of Serbia from the area of Vojvodina, of which 8 goalkeepers, 16 defensive, 17 midfielders and 16 attackers. To test the functional capabilities (oxygen consumption - VOmax), we used a test of progressive continuous load on the treadmill with increasing load per minute through a "breath-by-breath" gas analyzer (Quark PFT ErgoCPET, Cosmed, Italy), which gave data on ventilation and spiroergometric parameters of the subjects by different positions in the team. Anthropometric measures of body weight- (TM) and body height- (TV) were applied to test the morphological characteristics of the subjects. SPSS 20.0 software package was used for data processing. In order to determine the statistically significant differences of the measured variables between football players by positions, a one-factor anova of different groups, the level of statistical significance (p <0.05) was used. The obtained results of maximum oxygen consumption indicated that there is a statistically significant difference in aerobic abilities between goalkeepers and players in other positions, and they are certainly a consequence of the physiological requirements placed before them and the different training process. The highest mean value of VO2 max had midfielders (53.3 ± 1.9 ml / kg / min), followed by attackers (52.9 ± 4.4 ml / kg / min), defensive players (51.8 ± 3, 3 ml / kg / min) while the lowest values were recorded in the goalkeeper (50.5 ± 1.8 ml / kg / min). There is a logical conclusion that the need for running midfielders is the greatest, and the goalkeeper the least, and that the results are the result of training processes and different requirements for individual positions in the team.

The present research featured the possibilities of using the training process to develop volitional character qualities in young football players in a sports school. The article describes the theoretical ideas about volitional qualities as an object of psychological and pedagogical research, as well as various types of activity where these qualities can be realized. The authors focus on the development of volitional qualities in primary school children involved in sports vs. their peers. They believe that sport brings about positive changes in the parameters of the volitional sphere of the primary school students, e.g. discipline, sense of purpose, etc. The research experimentally proved the effectiveness of football for the development of volitional qualities in primary school children. The research results can improve the process of developing various volitional qualities in pupils during extracurricular activities. The paper also introduces a program of psychological and pedagogical support, which develops volitional qualities in young football players.
