ABSTRACTThe raid on the homes is a type of high uncertainly for people today denotes a common factor in both busi-ness and households, which have a major victim of the transgression. The project “The need for a safe house using Kinect and free software” is a system that provides solutions to problems related the emergence of home – room, which lowers the cost of traditional system of video – surveillance, in addition to the security implementation is not only based on the movements (which could be made by animals) but is specifically identifies and distinguishes between humans and animals. At present there are several surveillance cameras such as DVR cameras, IP cameras and motion sensors. This project provides an effective monitoring through its people recognition feature by a linear skeleton, audible alarm, image capture and real.-time monitoring function of the operating system Linux distribution Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin). At the time that the system recognizes an individual within the scenario set by the user, an audible alarm sounds alerting the owner of the home.RESUMENEl allanamiento en las viviendas es un tipo de inseguridad frecuente hoy en día, denota un factor común tanto en negocios como hogares, los cuales presentan una de las principales víctimas de la transgresión. El proyecto “La necesidad de contar con una casa segura mediante el uso de Kinect y software libre” es un sistema que provee soluciones a los problemas correspondientes a la irrupción de casa-habitación, el cual abarata los costos de un sistema tradicional de video-vigilancia, aunado a ello proporciona un mecanismo para la distinción entre humanos y animales sustentada en el reconocimiento de movimientos dentro de un escenario. El presente proyecto brinda una vigilancia eficaz mediante su característica de reconocimiento de personas mediante un esqueleto lineal, alarma sonora, captura de imágenes y monitoreo en tiempo real en función del sistema operativo Linux distribución Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin). En el momento que el sistema reconoce a una persona dentro del escenario establecido por el usuario, se dispara una alarma sonora alertando al propietario del domicilio.

Nowadays, every company has to have a right and efficient way to know their own pricing process. The better the company count it, the better it would be to compete in the market because the right method or system will decrease the cost and increase the profit. Activity Based Costing System is a method of calculating the cost of goods manufactured based on activities in a company using more cost driver, so it can calculate more accurate. This method is expected to be applied to the PT. Sarimelati Kencana who still using the traditional system for calculating the cost of goods manufactured. This research has a purpose to know the cost of goods manufactured in the company using activity based costing system. There are qualitative and quantitative data on this project. Qualitative data for company profile and quantitative data for production costs. This is descriptive research and the result shows that the pricing process using ABC method give overcost condition for pizza hut personal and undercost condition for pizza hut regular and large.

The reserved set of audible alarm signals embodied within the global medical device safety standard, IEC 60601-1-8, is known to be problematic and in need of updating. The current alarm signals are not only suboptimal, but there is also little evidence beyond learnability (which is known to be poor) that demonstrates their performance in realistic and representative clinical environments. In this article, we describe the process of first designing and then testing potential replacement audible alarm signals for IEC 60601-1-8, starting with the design of several sets of candidate sounds and initial tests on learnability and localizability, followed by testing in simulated clinical environments. We demonstrate that in all tests, the alarm signals selected for further development significantly outperform the current alarm signals. We describe the process of collecting considerably more data on the performance of the new sounds than exists for the current sounds, which ultimately will be of use to end users. We also reflect on the process and practice of working with the relevant committees and other practical issues beyond the science, which also need constant attention if the alarms we have developed are to be included successfully in an updated version of the standard.

In order to cope with increasing enrolment demands and funding constraints, some multi-campus universities in developing regions have considered distance learning (DL) as a way to facilitate access, while improving course delivery effectiveness. This paper presents a survey on students' perceptions about hypothetical implementations of DL systems, in particular the use of synchronous two way transmission and virtual classrooms in new locations. We explored three main areas of interest: firstly student profiles, and their cost and time constraints under the traditional system; secondly, pre-adoption perceptions about various DL options; and thirdly, differences in perceived impacts for individuals enrolled in different subjects. Data gathered sequentially from two sub- samples in non-consecutive years (1999 and 2001) enabled numerous cross- section and longitudinal operations. We present examples of findings on the cost-benefit ratios, relative priorities and pre-adoption factors affecting decisions on both institutional and pedagogical issues.

Pixel binning is a very important mechanism in CCD (Charge Coupled Device) image capture system. At the cost of resolution degradation, the readout speed and SNR (signal-to-noise ratio) are improved. A 3×2 pixel binning technique is reported in this paper and the driving timing sequences are presented. Compared to normal 2×2 pixel binning, this technique keeps a relative better SNR ,but in the same readout speed.

Technological-exploratory evaluation of the unit Checchi Magli Unitrium transplanting - Deutz Fahr Agrofarm 420-T tractor in tobacco cultivation Resumen El cultivo de tabaco requiere un intensivo uso de mano de obra, es una importante fuente de trabajo, ya que en promedio se necesita unas 2200 horas de trabajo por hectárea durante todo el desarrollo del mismo. Por estos antecedentes esta solanácea se considera un cultivo de interés, por su rentabilidad y eficiencia productiva (Flores, 2017). El objetivo de este trabajo es determinar los índices tecnológico-explotativos del conjunto conformado por el tractor Deutz Fahr Agrofarm 420-T y la trasplantadora Checchi Magli Unitrium en labor de siembra de tabaco en la Hacienda Tabacalera Tabaganesha, Cantón Valencia de la provincia de Los Ríos, donde se ha optado por implementar la maquinaria agrícola a labores de cultivo. La transplatadora Checchi Magli Unitrium se adquirió en el año 2017, desconociendo sus índices tecnológico-explotativos en la labor de siembra de tabaco. El método utilizado fue el analítico-sintético y la técnica de cronometraje. Para realizar las observaciones y recopilación de datos sobre los tiempos limpio de trabajo, operativo, productivo, de explotación y posterior cálculo de los coeficientes de explotación, de seguridad técnica, de utilización del tiempo productivo y otros, se los hacía de lunes a miércoles durante los meses de julio a septiembre del año 2017, utilizando las Normas Cubanas 34-37:2003 y 34-47: 2003. Para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó el sistema automatizado “TECEXP”. Los principales resultados evidencian que la calidad de trabajo realizado por el conjunto tractor Deutz Fahr Agrofarm 420-T (100 hp o 75 kW) y la trasplantadora Checchi Magli Unitrium en la labor de siembra se considera satisfactoria, ya que se cumplió con la siembra estable a 6 cm de profundidad, con una distancia longitudinal entre plantas de 0,35 cm, laborando a una velocidad de 1,45 km/h. La productividad por hora de tiempo explotativo fue de 0,26 ha/h; el coeficiente de utilización del tiempo productivo es igual a 0,77; durante el período de observación no se registraron roturas, lo que determinó que el coeficiente de seguridad técnica alcanzó el valor de 1,0; se registró el consumo de combustible de 7 L/ha. Se concluye que el conjunto tractor-trasplantadora evaluado cumple con las exigencias para la siembra de tabaco, permite disminuir considerablemente la cantidad de trabajadores manuales y abaratar el costo de manos de obra. Abstract The objective of this work is to determine the technological-exploitative indices of the set made up of the Deutz Fahr Agrofarm 420-T tractor and the Checchi Magli Unitrium transplanting plant in tobacco sowing at the Hacienda tabacalera Tabaganesha, Cantón Valencia of Los Ríos province, where it has been chosen to implement agricultural machinery for cultivation work. The Checchi Magli Unitrium Transplanter was acquired in 2017, ignoring its technological-exploitative indexes in the work of planting tobacco. The method used was synthetic-analytical and the technique of photo chroming. To make the observations and data collection on clean work, operational time, productive time, exploitation time and subsequent calculation of the operating coefficients, technical safety coefficients, use of productive time and others, were used Cuban Standards 34-37: 2003 and 34-47: 2003. For the processing of the data was used the automated system «TECEXP. The main results show that the quality of work carried out by the Deutz Fahr Agrofarm 420-T tractor unit and the Checchi Magli Unitrium transplanting plant in the sowing work is considered satisfactory, since the stable sowing at 6 cm depth was accomplished, with a longitudinal distance between plants of 0.35 cm, working at a speed of 1.45 km/h. The productivity per hour of exploitative time was 0.26 ha/h; the coefficient of utilization of productive time is equal to 0.77; during the observation period there were no breakages, which determined that the safety factor reached the value of 1.0; the fuel consumption of 7 L/ha was recorded. It´s concluded that the evaluated tractor-transplant set meets the requirements for the sowing of tobacco, it allows to reduce considerably the number of manual workers and lower the cost of labor. El cuy es una especie de las más pequeñas dentro de los cavidos, es monogástrico, roedor y herbívoro, el cual se sabe que fue domesticado hace 2500 a 3600 años. La presente investigación se desarrolló en el Departamento de Nariño, sur occidente de Colombia, con el objetivo de caracterizar y encontrar las diferencias etológicas de la especie en dos sistemas de producción, para lo cual se utilizó tres réplicas por cada sistema productivo; cada sistema estuvo conformado por machos, hembras y crías; en el sistema tecnificado se contaba con cinco hembras por cada macho, este número variaba en el sistema tradicional. Se registró las observaciones mediante cámaras de video y muestreo ad líbitum, cada 10 minutos durante 18 días, en los que se observaron los comportamientos propios de la especie y estereotipias generadas posiblemente por el sistema tecnificado, entre ellas roer partes de la jaula, mayor grado de alerta en los gazapos; se observaron además, diferencias entre los dos sistemas productivos en comportamientos como en el cuidado de las crías, comportamiento ingestivo, materno infantil y parto.Palabras clave: roedor, etograma, comportamiento social, reproducción, estereotipiaETHOLOGYC CHARACTERIZATION OF GUINEA PIG (Cavia porcellus) IN TRADITIONAL AND TECHNICIZED PRODUCTION SYSTEMS ABSTRACTCuy is one of the smallest specimen of cavidos, it is monogastric, rodent and herbivore, which is known to have been domesticated 2500 to 3600 years ago. This research was developed in Nariño department, south-west of Colombia, in order to characterize and to find ethological differences of the specie through two production systems, with three replicas of each one. Every system was conformed by males, females and offspring. In technified system, there were five females for each male, this number changed from traditional system. Observations were recorded by video cameras and ad libitum sampling, every 10 minutes for 18 days, and peculiar behavior of the specie and some stereotypies generated by the technified system were observe, like gnawing cage parts, a higher alert rate in breedings; besides, some differences between the two productive systems regarding brood care, feeding, maternal, childhood and birth behavior were observed.

The goal of this research was to provide readers the information about the calculation methods, both traditional and activity-based costing in the application of the cost of production. The method used in this research was the qualitative method. The analysis was done by calculating the amount of the production cost using the traditional system and the magnitude of the production cost when using the activity-based costing system. The amount of each acquisition was then performed into data analysis. The results achieved are massive distortion between the calculations using traditional systems and activity based costing system. The conclusions of the whole thesis are activity-based costing system is considered more relevant than traditional systems that are currently used by the company.

Introduction. The traditional system of calculating the cost of production by the complete expenses has performed an accounting function but carries overhead (indirect) costs to the cost of certain products only in proportion to the volume of its outputs. That is why it has a number of shortcomings, which are particularly acute in market conditions: it does not provide for the distribution of costs by functions and actions, does not provide reliable calculation, the objectivity of assessment and market pricing. Results. It has been calculated and compared the cost of the main products of the enterprise in the research (on the example of LLC "Design and Construction Company" RIKA") by the method of calculation by the complete expenses and the method of ABC. It has been established that when calculating by the complete expenses there is an insufficient share of overhead costs which refers to the cost of products produced in smaller quantities and vice versa. It has been determined that using the method of calculating the cost by the complete expenses leads to unjustified overstatement of the share of overhead costs in the cost of products with a significant share of direct labour and material costs ( namely: construction of facilities and production of concrete products) and the share of overhead costs in the cost of products with a small number of direct labour costs and materials is insignificant (namely: the production of mixtures and the development of documentation). It has been calculated relative savings of unit cost (construction of facilities, production of concrete products) from the application of the ABC method. It has been also determined that it is advisable to change the approach to the pricing of such products as the production of mixtures and the development of documentation, as their cost is higher than the accounting. This indicates the unprofitable price for the company of these products and the need for management decisions or the abandonment of these products or a change in pricing policy. Application. The application of the ABC method in the distribution of enterprise costs could identify new benchmarks in product cost management, provided that existing accounting is adapted to this method.

RESUMENMinimizar el costo de la energía eléctrica en Zonas Francas de Colombia, es una necesidad apremiante por ser este un factor directamente relacionado con la competitividad de parques industriales que, bajo un régimen especial, promueven la entrada de nueva inversión al país. En este artículo se presenta una herramienta de optimización de la explotación de una planta de autogeneración que junto con la conexión convencional a la red eléctrica se usan como fuentes para el abastecimiento de energía de una Zona Franca. Bajo estas condiciones generales se ha valorado el beneficio de la condición hipotética de operación. Como herramienta computacional para resolver el modelo planteado usamos el Sistema General de Modelamiento Algebraico - GAMS - con la ayuda de MATLAB para agilizar el ingreso y procesamiento de datos.ABSTRACTMinimizing the cost of electricity in commercial areas of Colombia is one of the biggest needs of this economic sector covering the competitiveness of industrial parks that stimulates investment in this country. Dans ces conditions, la valeur ajoutée du bénéfice hypothétique de l’opération se trouve valorisée.
