Competitive advantages are an important economic category that is receiving close attention from researchers. Any organization needs to have distinctive characteristics in order to distinguish it from other market participants. This rule is also relevant for educational organizations that operate in the educational services market, which is characterized by a stable increase in the level of competition. Thus, the relevance of this study is due to the necessity to find optimal methods for solving the problem of competition between educational organizations in the higher education system. The purpose of the study is to reveal the essence of the competitive advantages of an educational organization, as well as to study the factors contributing to their formation and development. In accordance with the goal, the following tasks are set: to reveal the content of the competitive advantages of an educational organization; to formulate the factors characterizing the competitiveness of an educational organization; put forward recommendations related to the formation and development of competitive advantages of an educational organization. The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the scientific achievements of domestic and foreign scientists on the issues of managing the competitiveness of an economic entity, including an educational organization. The author’s scientific conclusions are based on the theory of strategy and the methodology of strategizing by the outstanding scientist V. L. Kvint. To substantiate the achieved results, a set of scientific methods and approaches were used: analysis and synthesis, generalization, analogy, scientific theory. As a result of the research, based on the theory of strategy and the methodology of strategizing by V. L. Kvint, the essence of the competitive advantages of an educational organization as an element of its strategy is revealed. It is concluded that competitive advantages are an essential element of the strategic architecture, which, firstly, ensures the effectiveness of the strategy, and secondly, is a kind of filter in the goal-setting system of an educational organization. A number of recommendations related to the management of the competitive advantages of an educational organization are put forward.

The relevance of the study of the development of competitive advantages is related to the need to ensure the competitiveness of restaurants, given the current market conditions. The purpose of the study is to investigate the ways of developing a strategy to ensure and implement the competitive advantages of restaurants. Theoretical and methodological framework of the study included general scientific methods (methods of scientific generalisation and comparison), specific methods (methods of analysis and synthesis). The study defines that indirect criteria are used to assess competitiveness, which can be divided into two main groups: consumer and economic criteria. It is analysed that for different categories of consumers and groups of goods competitiveness is provided by different types of prices: purchasing, selling, and consumer. The sources of development of competitive advantages are determined. The study also provides the competitive advantages of restaurant establishments, which have different forms of manifestation. The diagnostics of the competitive environment is carried out, which requires not only the analysis of the state of various methods of competition, but also the study of the image of the product, as well as the image of the enterprise. The main factors of competitive advantage of restaurants were considered. The study analysed the factors of competitive advantage of the organisation, which are divided into external and internal. It is determined that the factors of consumer preferences are divided into four groups: psychological, informational, sales, and economic. It is established that each group has certain measures, the consistent implementation of which, in the end, leads either to the development or maintenance of consumer preferences

The authors propose a differentiated approach to the organization of fixed assets accounting, which consists in structuring the account 01 “Fixed assets” depending on their areas of activity of economic entities. This article also substantiates the composition of analytical accounts of fixed assets in the context of factors affecting the accounting. The study was carried out on an urgent topic - the accounting of fixed assets is undergoing changes due to legislative innovations. In addition, organizational and economic aspects and factors of a specific, industry-specific nature are of no small importance when building a system of accounting for fixed assets. The analysis of the role and significance of the influence of the characteristics of various types of activities of economic entities on the accounting of fixed assets allows us to identify the directions and methods, the use of which will ensure a positive dynamics of the efficiency of the use of fixed assets and the growth of labor productivity. In the course of the research, general scientific methods of cognition were used, such as analysis and synthesis, consistency and complexity, analogy, comparative and logical approach. The organizational and methodological provisions developed by the authors of the article contribute to the development of the methodology of accounting for fixed assets of economic entities engaged in various types of activities. Some of the results of this study can serve as a vector for further practical and theoretical developments, increase the transparency, relevance, and analyticity of information about the activities of an economic entity based on accounting and management accounting data. The recommendations and approaches proposed by the authors of the article can be applied as a basis for improving the accounting and methodological support for the management of fixed assets of an economic entity.

Introduction. Introduction. Innovation is an integral factor of social and economic development, which accompanied mankind from the beginning of civilization. Over the past decade, you can observe a significant increase in expenditures for innovation activity and growing interest in the topic of innovation, since technological changes and innovations are often perceived as an influential process that opens opportunities for the benefits of society, as well as social security. Particular attention is paid to the commercialization of innovation, since they are a fundamental condition for the development of both micro-and macroeconomic aspects in the context of their impact on the creation of competitive advantages and economic development. Moreover, the commercialization of innovation is, apparently, the most important challenge faced by all companies. innovations go beyond science or technology; this is what can create value through the commercialization process. The theme of commercialization of innovation apparently paid increased attention Recently, but this subject of research is quite fragmented and distributed between various fields of research and disciplines. As a result, it is necessary to investigate, arrange and aggregate various theoretical and empirical conclusions, the purpose of the article is to determine theoretical principles of commercialization of the results of innovation activity in order to formulate the relevant mechanism. Method (methodology). The study used a number of general scientific and specially scientific methods: analysis and synthesis to find out the essence of the mechanism of commercialization of the results of innovation activity; systematization – determination of the main levels of the mechanism of commercialization; Gnoseology – outlining the main contradictions for understanding commercialization. The results. The main purpose of the article is to form a model of the mechanism of commercialization of the results of innovation activity. The existing connection between phenomena is taken into account: commercialization of innovation and internationalization. A conceptual approach to the formation of a mechanism for commercialization of innovation results depending on management levels is proposed. The toolkit for implementing the proposed mechanism is determined.

The relevance of the problem under study was due to the emergence of new financial technolo¬gies and the creation of prerequisites for their active introduction into the securities market. The activity of the securities market would in many ways expand the opportunities of both the population, represented by private investors and enterprises, which in turn made it possible to solve many problems. Digitalization today has af¬fected all areas of activity, including the securities market. It had an impact on both financial institutions and financial partners. In order to reduce the time spent performing operations, gain competitive advantages over competitors, and attract more customers, securities market entities sought to make as much use of the latest developments as possible in various aspects of performance. Digital transformations in the securities market inevitably entail a rethinking of the views of users and participants in these fi-nas relations. The purpose of the article is to highlight trends in the development of innovations in the securities market and identify the degree of their influence on market participants. In the course of the study, general scientific methods of cognition, such as analysis, synthesis, induction and generalization, were applied. The definition of innovations in the securities market was given, the necessity of their use in the activities of the subjects of the securities market was proved, the main trends were characterized and a regressive analysis was carried out, which proved a high degree of influence of the welfare of citizens and the number of subjects from innovations. In the article, based on the accumulation of the introduction of innovations into the activities of participants in the Russian securi¬ties market, ways of improving them are proposed. It also considered and argued the possibility of creating a financial supermarket based on the Moscow Exchange in the form of a marketplace, which in the future will be able to offer all types of financial services. The results obtained in the course of the study could be used in the formation of a competitive strategy for participants in the securities market in the process of implementing their innovative activities.

Introduction. The process of a new regionalism formation in Ukraine has become the subject of the study. Its conceptual and categorical apparatus has been determined. Purpose. The article aims to ground the author's interpretation of the concept "regionalization" on the basis of analysis of the "regionalization" concept which is provided by researchers of various scientific schools and their critical analysis. It will help to clarify the categorical and conceptual apparatus of a new regionalism. Method. The author has used general scientific methods of research and specific methods of scientific knowledge. In particular, there have been used the monographic method and the method of generalizations (to make the comparison of concepts regionalization); the method of analysis and synthesis (to determine the most important essential factors of the "regionalization" concept). Results. The results of analysis of essence interpretation of the «regionalization» concept make it possible to come to the following conclusions. In terms of spatial and territorial aspects regionalization has three forms: first form is the so-called "regionalization – from the top" (when within the state the regions with administrative boundaries are determined); second form is the so-called "regionalization – from the bottom" (when within the already formed administrative schematization the region can be separated; third form is the so-called "regionalization – horizontal" (when the associations of the regions are formed or those can be the cross-border regions and units). Regionalization is often associated with new spatial and territorial entities at different levels in order to obtain competitive advantages in the context of the formation of an information society. Regionalization is considered as a mechanism of regional social and economic policy, a variety of innovation activities, and the emergence of interstate relations; as a process of institutional change, territorial division, regionalism, decentralization, the choice of a political course. It has been found out that regionalization, in our opinion, is primarily a certain process, which is confirmed by the discourse on the essence of this concept, which is based on the principle of subsidiarity and decentralization of authority. Scope of results. It has been provided the author's interpretation of the "regionalization" essence as a multidimensional process of increasing autonomy and increasing the importance of regions at the level of different territorial entities, which is accompanied by institutional changes, can contribute to the clarification of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of a new regionalism theory.

Subject. The article addresses modernization of lending facilities under concession agreements. It is important for evaluating the terms of credit transactions, effectiveness of credit projects, and the concessionaire's ability to repay the loan. Objectives. The purpose is to review the current financing mechanism and underpin approaches to improving the credit facilities within concession agreements. Methods. The study rests on general scientific methods, like the systems and logical analysis and synthesis, principles of induction and deduction, financial calculation techniques. The analytical part employs the balance method, methods of financial coefficients and the method of technical and economic estimates. Results. I analyzed the financial structure and special characteristics of concession agreements, parameters of concessionaires’ activities; considered the types of risks inherent in bank lending under concession agreements, methods for their identification and mitigation; offered a mechanism of lending, including the structure of credit transactions, restrictions for the financial condition of concessionaires, additional requirements and penalties for their non-fulfillment. The findings can help banks define lending parameters for concession agreements. The provided recommendations may be useful for consideration by the authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation. Conclusions. It is possible to reduce the risks of lending under concession contracts, if their terms and conditions are stable, and if the lost income of concessionaires is compensated in the event of early termination. Reasonable tariffs for works and services and increased revenue collection will promote this type of lending.

Subject. The article addresses the specifics of shadow economic activities in reformed Russia in the context of systemic transformations. Objectives. We focus on determining the role of shadow economy in the reproductive process, identifying and understanding the specifics of underground economic activity of the Russian economy. Methods. The study rests on general scientific methods (scientific abstraction, unity of historical and logical, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, comparison and analogy) and special methods of cognition (monetary methods). We employ the systems and integrated approach. The official statistics, regulations, works of leading researchers on shadow economy expansion, resources of reference and legal systems like Garant and ConsultantPlus serve as the study's information base. Results. We present a retrospective rapid analysis of the extent of shadow economic activity in the domestic economy, establishing the relationships with the processes that take place at different stages of the country's development. We also reveal the specifics of shadow economy relations in Russia, factors that play a key role in expansion for a particular period, a shift to another form of shadow economy. The study characterizes the current period of development, assesses the impact of external shocks on shadow economy expansion. Conclusions. The current period is characterized by the digitization of shadow relations, the shift of corruption to the upper echelons of power, the continued outflow of capital abroad, and increased penalties for underground activities.

Subject. The article reviews the way strategic threats to energy security influence the quality of people's life. Objectives. The study unfolds the theory of analyzing strategic threats to energy security by covering the matter of quality of people's life. Methods. To analyze the way strategic threats to energy security spread across cross-sectoral commodity and production chains and influences quality of people's living, I applied the factor analysis and general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. Results. I suggest interpreting strategic threats to energy security as risks of people's quality of life due to a reduction in the volume of energy supply. I identified mechanisms reflecting how the fuel and energy complex and its development influence the quality of people's life. The article sets out the method to assess such quality-of-life risks arising from strategic threats to energy security. Conclusions and Relevance. In the current geopolitical situation, strategic threats to energy security cause long-standing adverse consequences for the quality of people's life. If strategic threats to energy security are further construed as risk of quality of people's life, this will facilitate the preparation and performance of a more effective governmental policy on energy, which will subsequently raise the economic well-being of people.

Since the Republic of Croatia is one of the most popular European and world tourist destinations, the aim of this paper is, from the user’s (n = 596) point of view, to research the importance of stationary traffic in tourist destinations. The purpose of this paper is to point out the possibilities of improving the tourist destination quality and sustainability through an adequate parking service. In order to corroborate constructed scientific hypotheses, a larger number of scientific methods were used from which a polling method, analysis and synthesis method, descriptive statistics method, t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) should be singled out. The major finding of this paper indicates a relatively big importance of stationary traffic (M = 6.51; SD = 2.21) as an element of tourist destination quality. Moreover, regarding the quality of tourist destination, the results of this paper suggest that the parking space availability is more important than the way parking or parking payment are organized. Between the experienced parking problem in a tourist destination and age on one side and evaluation of the importance of stationary traffic as an element of tourist destination quality on the other side, a statistically important connection was established. Gained knowledge can be particularly helpful to hotel industry managers but also to traffic managers whose duty is to provide an adequate number of parking spaces in tourist destinations.

It is suggested that the value-motivational sphere of the personality of preschool educational institutions has a number of features due to the specifics of professional activity.
