Every child has a lot of extraordinary potential, depending on how the parents hone and nurture it. Children have various hopes and beauties in them, but children can turn into Troble Maker if wrong care, bad environmental conditions, experiences during developmental times, bad relationships between parents, materially incapacitated, lack of attention to children, poor communication, parents are too busy with work, too much physical and psychological punishment. There are ways to deal with the Troble Maker child are some of the approaches, methods and steps. The approaches used are the Rational Approach, Emotional Approach, Functional Approach, Behavioristic Approach, Cognitive Approach, Humanistic Approach. The method used is the Uswah method, the method of advice, the habituation method, the Shawab method and `Iqab, social skills. For the steps used are as follows: Step of Discovery, Step of Understanding, Step of Living, Step of Practice, Step of Consolidation.

Advertising communications are one way, they are also impersonal and receivers are not obliged to listen or even pretend to as they would in a personal exchange. They are free to ignore the message, remember it, or forget it as they please. This makes it imperative for advertisers to create messages that will intrude on the consumers' perceptual defences. Advertising hence, by necessity, must use powerful emotional and rational ad appeals to be noticed. While rational appeals would go down well with the left brainers (high on cognition), emotional appeals would be well received by the right brainers (high on feelings). Need for cognition represents the tendency of individuals to engage in and enjoy thinking. It may be described as the need to structure relevant situations in meaningful integrated ways and a need to undertsand and make sense out of the experiential world. It is helpful in understanding how argument strength and endorser attractiveness in advertisements may influence consumer attitudes. Insurance is universally acknowledged to be an institution that handles risk and provides security to an individual and his/her family. Given the fact that it also has a bearing on his/her future income (through the element of saving and investment); and offers him/her additional tax saving benefits; one may conclude that purchasing of insurance policy is a complex and high involvement decision for both emotional and rational reasons. An individual ranking high on a rational approach to a product and at the same time exhibiting a high degree of involvement would need more facts and evidences for making a decision. While, another individual taking a more emotional approach to the product and exhibiting the same high level of involvement would be influenced by strong emotional appeals. What should then be the stand of the advertisers when developing ads of insurance policy? What works best – an emotional approach or a rational appeal? The present paper is an attempt at investigating whether variations in the need for cognition makes individuals favour a particular type of appeal, especially in case of advertisements of insurance policy. The study is exploratory in nature with 2×2 factorial design, wherein need for cognition and types of appeals are independent variables and consumers response is the dependent variable, Independent variable of need for cognition has two levels high and low; whereas advertising appeal has two categories rational and emotional. The study proposes to examine whether there are significant variations in the responses of individuals having high and low need for cognition towards emotional and rational ad appeals, in case of advertisements of insurance policy. The findings of the study would enable marketers and advertisers in developing suitable ads for insurance policy.

Personality aspects are largely neglected in existing models of media preferences. Based on a functional approach, it is hypothesized that media preferences are affected by Extraversion and Neuroticism particularly in situations that correspond to the motivational implications of these traits. The results of a questionnaire study (N = 228) on preferences for communication media with varying levels of media richness (face-to-face conversation, e-mail) revealed Extraversion and Neuroticism as significant predictors of media preferences. Moreover, these effects were mediated by the motivational manifestations of these traits in social situations (i.e., social skills, social anxiety). Finally, the effects were moderated by the potential threat of a communication situation, showing significant trait effects particularly in social conflicts.

In order to explore aspects of loneliness and social competence of learning disabled students in relation to specific environmental contexts, this study focused on children in two different social systems: a kibbutz and a city. The aim of the study was to investigate the social skills and loneliness patterns among 122 students with learning disabilities (LD) in self-contained special classes within regular school systems (66 kibbutz students; 56 city students) and among 120 nondisabled (nonLD) students within these same environmental conditions (69 kibbutz students; 51 city students). A four-way MANCOVA (LD/nonLD X kibbutz/city X male/female X lower/higher grades, with age as covariate) was performed for self-reported loneliness and empathy, peer-rated sociometric measures, teacher-rated social skills, and classroom adjustment as the dependent measures. LD youngsters were found to be less socially competent and more lonely than their nonLD peers in all social competence areas, and as assessed by three sources of information. When compared with LD city students, LD kibbutz students were evaluated by their teachers as demonstrating fewer maladaptive externalising behaviours, and by their peers as having more friends. Social contexts did not differentiate between the two LD groups' feeling of loneliness or rates of peer acceptance, and it can be concluded that students with LD were found to experience loneliness regardless of gender or environmental conditions.

Problems and issues arising in the design and operation of mono-hull FPSOs have been apparent for many years. This has resulted in shortcomings of current design philosophy being highlighted. Environmental downtime of 10 to 14 days per year is not uncommon in both new-built and converted FPSOs. The financial loss resulting from this downtime during the life of a field, is a significant factor in the overall field economics. The importance of selecting the principal dimensions of the hull to optimise the natural periods of the FPSO is discussed in this paper. Converted FPSOs are therefore at a disadvantage as the natural periods are already set by the principal dimensions and mass properties, which may not suit the environmental conditions at site, potentially resulting in high downtime. However, it is also noted that preliminary design of new built-FPSOs has also tended to neglect this aspect of design and opportunities to optimise motion performance have often been lost by following standard ship building practices in selecting initial principal hull dimensions. This paper explores a new rational approach to the design of the FPSOs, relative to the field environmental conditions, particularly for deep water locations. The main objective is to achieve minimum downtime to avoid financial penalties caused by the associated loss of production. Preliminary hull sizing software for optimising the hull principal dimensions, relative to the mooring and riser requirements and the field environmental conditions for a given storage capacity and topside load is presented. Benefits for the riser and mooring systems and for hull material and fabrication costs are also outlined.

The transition from the education system to the adult labor market system is mediated by interacting subjective and structural factors specific to each country including its educational system structure and organization, social and cultural context, demographic factors, labor market and role of state in shaping labor supply and demand.
