The article deals with the problem of improving the quality of training future navigators according to the strategic goals of the modernization of the educational process in Ukraine’s marine higher educational institutions, based on the humanistic paradigm, which requires special attention to the formation of future navigators’ communicative self-efficiency. The study of this problem is of particular relevance, since it is one of the main professional characteristics for representatives of the senior command navigators that enables them to carry out professional activities productively, adequately and at a high level: to organize the coordinated work of the crew, especially consisting of specialists of different nationalities, religious denominations, mentalities; competently and skilfully communicate with seaport employees, representatives of foreign companies, etc. The paper presents the conceptual provisions of A. Bandura, the founder of the theory of self-efficiency, its role and importance in person’s life as well as those of J. Caprari and D. Servon, D. Matsumoto (communication), educators (self-efficiency), (communicative self-efficiency) in the context of importance and the need to develop and form these phenomena for improving the quality of the training aimed at future navigators in higher education institutions of maritime profile. The phenomenon “communicative self-efficiency of the future navigators” has been defined; its essence and structure have been considered, the latter consisting of three components: reflexive (self-identification with navigators as model professionals, the presence of adequate self-assessment of their own actions in the field of professional communication, a stable reflexive position), cognitive-operational (awareness of the communicative sphere of maritime professional activity, skills, professional communication abilities); affective-behavioural (confidence in the possibility of productive communication in professional activities, emotionality, activity, responsibility, ability to self-regulate and self-sustain). The forms and methods for the formation of communicative self-efficiency of cadets of marine universities involved into the experiment have been presented: reflective workshop, keeping a reflective diary, which gave the cadet the opportunity to conduct self-analysis of their own professional actions and enhance self-understanding regarding the presence of the necessary professional personal qualities for performing their future professional activities effectively and building a positive Self-concept of the future navigator; the organizing dialogue “The role of the reflective component in developing future navigators’ communicative self-efficiency”, the technology “Developing confidence in self-efficiency and productive communication of future navigators in their future independent professional activities”, the training module “Communication skills”, etc. Keywords: communication, self-efficiency, communicative self-efficiency, future navigator, marine higher educational institution.

The article argues that the relevance of providing the quality of the official website content of modern universities is predetermined by the objective requirements of the present day, such as the priority of the state policy in the field of integration of higher educational institutions into the European education space, the globalization of information technologies and increasing of the Internet activity among the population. The subject of the study is the features of the websites' information content of the universities from different countries. It is determined that the website content of a modern institution of higher education contains information on various types of university activities (educational, scientific, pedagogic, financial, and marketing). The content of websites of foreign and universities was analyzed according to the following criteria: language; informativeness; utility; administrative and financial transparency; technical design. The analysis of website content of various universities was carried out in accordance the availability of information of university’s general characteristics, of the organization of the university’s educational process and features of student life, of university's scientific activities, of ways of advertising and the formation of a positive image of an educational institution in the imagination of Internet visitors. The attention is focused on the features of the websites' information content of the leading foreign and domestic universities. The main distinctions are in the ways of positioning the institution in the future; outlining the competitive advantages of an educational institution and highlighting the opportunities for improving the quality of the educational process; popularizing the university's scientific activities, and identifying the ways to confirm the reputation of the university. It is proved that the development of top-quality content contributes to the improvement of the image of the higher educational institution on the Internet, as well as increases the competitiveness of the university in the market of educational services both in the country and abroad. Awareness of the relevance of providing the quality of the official website content of the institution of higher education allows to tackle the problem of creating and distributing vital, unique, classified, and interesting information.

The high level of development of culture and art in modern Russia requires appropriate training of employees for the theater and concert complex. Well-trained specialists will be able to find a job and employment. In the labor market in the field of art and culture, there is creative competition. Therefore, the training of bachelors at the higher educational institutions should be guided by the requirements of the labor market in this area, and the higher educational institutions should produce competitive specialists in creative professions. In the higher education system of modern Russia, the issue of improving the quality of teaching of special (major) disciplines, as well as all subjects included in the training program, is on the agenda of the department collectives. The program trajectory, which is set through the Federal State Educational Standards, is associated with a certain experiment in modeling competencies based on accepted professional standards. An important component is the position of the higher educational institution and the right to develop competencies based on the experience, profile of the university and the composition of the teaching staff. Higher educational institutions have certain academic freedoms and use their opportunities to achieve a higher quality of bachelor's and master's degree training. The article deals with various aspects of vocal pedagogy, the formation of the necessary professional and general cultural competencies, and individual work with students. Such problems are raised by teachers of creative higher educational institutions. We considered it possible to enter into the discussion and conduct a friendly polemic.

An Information system for the analyzing the methodical work of higher educational institution department has been developed. It is established that the methodical work of the department is of great importance in ensuring the quality of educational activities of higher educational institutions, which provides in particular the availability educational and methodological support of the educational process and information systems for effective management. Given the important role assigned to the formation and development of the system of methodical work in the educational institution, the modern requirements and conditions of reforming and diversifying the system of higher professional education has been analyzed. Based on the general review of the methodical work of higher educational institutions department, has been revealed that the development of an applied software product for accounting and analysis of the methodical work of both an individual teacher and the department as a whole is relevant. The developed information system of analysis of methodical work of department allows analyzing the methodical work of both individual teachers and the department in general, to asses the quality of educational activities, documentation, and also provides diagnostics and monitoring of methodical work of department for different periods of time, comparison of teachers’ activities and preparation of recommendations for subsequent periods of work. The proposed information system allows to effectively manage the methodical work and to provide recommendations for planning, implementing and controlling the effectiveness of the strategy for improving the educational process and its methodical support. In particular, it is envisaged that the program includes such activities as: accounting for the methodical developments available in the department methodical cabinet with their reference to the name of the discipline; names and codes of the specialty; course; teachers-authors; lectures; study groups; the number of students in the group and general in the stream; the number of copies of educational and methodical literature; time of publication; taking into account the existing methodical developments within the virtual learning environment with their binding to the above parameters, as well as the time of the last editing; the number of lectures and students registered for the educational complex, student activity; accounting for existing methodical developments within the section “Electronic Library” of the department’s website with a separate link to the number of copies by users. The developed information system is being tested at the Department of Applied Mathematics of Lviv Polytechnic National University.

This research elaborates the selection of the Test First and Test Last model for a pilot experiment that was executed as a feasibility study to validate the suitability of the existing Test First model for its implementation in the series of actual experiment. The series of actual experiment is designed to investigate the quality of the project developed by the students in higher educational institution with the Test First over Test Last model. The findings gathered from the pilot experiment demonstrate that there were misunderstandings on the user stories among the participants that have led to the development of an enhanced Test First model.

ABSTRACT Quality of learning is determined by a classroom, where a classroom must have facilities to support the learning process, at least chairs, tables, blackboards, and LCD projectors. The design of supporting facilities for the learning process that is not following ergonomic principles can cause the risk of muscle and skeletal disorders. This study aims to examine and provide an overview related to ergonomic support facilities for the learning process contained in the classrooms of Educational Institution X. the learning process is not following the principles of ergonomics and causes complaints of skeletal muscle disorders in students. Complaints of muscle disorders felt by 97.61% of students in their body parts and related to choices when they study in the classroom, it is necessary to take corrective steps by redesigning to support the existing learning process and for students to have a comfortable seat so as not to display skeletal muscle disorders. Key word: ergonomic, study posture, MSDs ABSTRAK Kualitas pembelajaran yang baik dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik ruang kelas, dimana dalam sebuah ruang kelas harus memiliki sarana pendukung proses belajar minimal kursi, meja, papan tulis, dan LCD pyoyektor. Perancangan desain sarana pendukung proses belajar yang tidak sesuai prinsip ergonomi dapat menyebabkan risiko gangguan otot dan tulang rangka Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memberi gambaran terkait ergonomic sarana pendukung proses belajar yang terdapat pada ruang kelas Institusi Pendidikan X. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa desain sarana pendukung proses belajar tidak sesuai dengan prinsip ergonomi dan menyebabkan keluhan gangguan otot rangka pada mahasiswa. Keluhan gangguan otot rangka dirasakan oleh 97,61% mahasiswa pada bagian-bagian tubuhnya dan berhubungan bermakna dengan postur janggal pada saat mereka belajar di ruang kelas diperlukan adanya langkah perbaikan dengan mendesain ulang sarana pendukung proses belajar yang ada dan atau menyerukan kepada mahasiswa agar memilih tempat duduk yang nyaman agar tidak mengeluhkan gangguan otot rangka. The purpose of this article is to elaborate means of intellectualizing management of changes in higher educational institutions, analysis of monitoring components as one of the tools for managing system of higher education, identifying problems of its organization and implementation. In the course of the research, we used the following methods: the method of expert assessments; document analysis; analysis of structural divisions work experience; sociological methods: observation, questioning. Every higher educational institution depending to their self-organization creates the internal monitoring model, that is, in any case, an integral system, which, in our opinion, should comprise the following components: purpose; task; requirements; object and subjects, monitoring criteria. Priority in this research is given to "consumer monitoring".
