The key terms and basic concepts of the agent are analyzed. The structured general classification of agents according to the representation of the model of the external environment, by the type of processing information and by the functions performed is given. The classification of artificial agents (intellectual, reflex, impulsive, trophic) also is s analyzed. The necessary conditions for the implementation of a certain behavior by the agent are given, as well as the scheme of functioning of the intelligent agent. The levels of knowledge that play a key role in the architecture of the agent are indicated. The functional diagram of a learning agent that works relatively independently, demonstrating flexible behavior. It is discussed that the functional scheme of the reactive agent determines the dependence on the environment. The properties of the intelligent agent are described in detail and the block diagram is indicated. Various variants of agent architectures, in particular neural network agent architectures, are considered. The organization of level interaction in the multilevel agent architecture is proposed. Considerable attention is paid to the Will-architecture and InteRRaP- architecture of agents. A multilevel architecture for an autonomous agent of a Turing machine is considered.

This paper proposes a new application of the stochastic game model to solve the problem of self- organization of the Hamiltonian cycle of a graph. To do this, at the vertices of the undirected graph are placed game agents, whose pure strategies are options for choosing one of the incident edges. A random selection of strategies by all agents forms a set of local paths that begin at each vertex of the graph. Current player payments are defined as loss functions that depend on the strategies of neighboring players that control adjacent vertices of the graph. These functions are formed from a penalty for the choice of opposing strategies by neighboring players and a penalty for strategies that have reduced the length of the local path. Random selection of players’ pure strategies is aimed at minimizing their average loss functions. The generation of sequences of pure strategies is performed by a discrete distribution built on the basis of dynamic vectors of mixed strategies. The elements of the vectors of mixed strategies are the probabilities of choosing the appropriate pure strategies that adaptively take into account the values of current losses. The formation of vectors of mixed strategies is determined by the Markov recurrent method, for the construction of which the gradient method of stochastic approximation is used. During the game, the method increases the value of the probabilities of choosing those pure strategies that lead to a decrease in the functions of average losses. For given methods of forming current payments, the result of the stochastic game is the formation of patterns of self-organization in the form of cyclically oriented strategies of game agents. The conditions of convergence of the recurrent method to collectively optimal solutions are ensured by observance of the fundamental conditions of stochastic approximation. The game task is extended to random graphs. To do this, the vertices are assigned the probabilities of recovery failures, which cause a change in the structure of the graph at each step of the game. Realizations of a random graph are adaptively taken into account when searching for Hamiltonian cycles. Increasing the probability of failure slows down the convergence of the stochastic game. Computer simulation of the stochastic game provided patterns of self-organization of agents’ strategies in the form of several local cycles or a global Hamiltonian cycle of the graph, depending on the ways of forming the current losses of players. The reliability of experimental studies is confirmed by the repetition of implementations of self-organization patterns for different sequences of random variables. The results of the study can be used in practice for game-solving NP-complex problems, transport and communication problems, for building authentication protocols in distributed information systems, for collective decision-making in conditions of uncertainty.

An Information system for the analyzing the methodical work of higher educational institution department has been developed. It is established that the methodical work of the department is of great importance in ensuring the quality of educational activities of higher educational institutions, which provides in particular the availability educational and methodological support of the educational process and information systems for effective management. Given the important role assigned to the formation and development of the system of methodical work in the educational institution, the modern requirements and conditions of reforming and diversifying the system of higher professional education has been analyzed. Based on the general review of the methodical work of higher educational institutions department, has been revealed that the development of an applied software product for accounting and analysis of the methodical work of both an individual teacher and the department as a whole is relevant. The developed information system of analysis of methodical work of department allows analyzing the methodical work of both individual teachers and the department in general, to asses the quality of educational activities, documentation, and also provides diagnostics and monitoring of methodical work of department for different periods of time, comparison of teachers’ activities and preparation of recommendations for subsequent periods of work. The proposed information system allows to effectively manage the methodical work and to provide recommendations for planning, implementing and controlling the effectiveness of the strategy for improving the educational process and its methodical support. In particular, it is envisaged that the program includes such activities as: accounting for the methodical developments available in the department methodical cabinet with their reference to the name of the discipline; names and codes of the specialty; course; teachers-authors; lectures; study groups; the number of students in the group and general in the stream; the number of copies of educational and methodical literature; time of publication; taking into account the existing methodical developments within the virtual learning environment with their binding to the above parameters, as well as the time of the last editing; the number of lectures and students registered for the educational complex, student activity; accounting for existing methodical developments within the section “Electronic Library” of the department’s website with a separate link to the number of copies by users. The developed information system is being tested at the Department of Applied Mathematics of Lviv Polytechnic National University.

Has been carried out analysis of the subject area and main functions of the intellectual system for research of space weather parameters are identified. The model of static structure of intellectual system is developed as well as its dynamic aspects are modeled. Also is constructed an architecture of intellectual system for research of space weather parameters on the basis of “client-server” two-level model. The scientific novelty of the obtained results stands on developed model of the intellectual system for research of space weather parameters. The practical significance of the intellectual system lies in its capabilities: automated collection and processing of data on the manifestations of solar activity; storing information in the database; data analysis and establishing links between helio- and geo-activity indicators, as well as forecasting geophysical disturbances caused by cosmic factors.

The method of localization of noise level calculation from a rail vehicle in the city of Lviv is investigated and developed. Models of noise load measurement have been adapted, the measured values have been unified and our own solution has been created on the basis of the road surface, the speed of rail transport and the distance from the noise source. According to the research methods, namely: Schall 03 (from Germany), Nordic Train (Scandinavian countries) was carried out compared to the Bland—Altmann schedule, with which we can adapt the studied results. distance from the noise source. As a result, models for predicting noise load measurements were adapted. The results were carried out compared to the Bland-Altmann plot, which helped us with the comparison table. The purpose of the study is to analyze methods for noise level measurements and adapt them into our realities. Based on the known methods of measuring the noise load of railway vehicles, we can assume that there are no correct methods for the cities of Ukraine (especially Lviv).

The problem of constructing metrics is crucial for solving the problem of quantitative evaluation of both systems of objects of arbitrary nature as a whole and the relationships that describe the connections between the components of these systems. Modern information systems simulate subject areas that contain objects and systems of complex structure. The network model is most appropriate for describing the world around it: it reflects objects and systems of objects of arbitrary nature that interact with each other. In fact, any system can be described using a network model. Hierarchical models should be singled out as a kind of network models of complex systems. Hierarchical models are very widespread and are used in various fields — in biology, sociology, economics, technology, management, etc. — each industry has a set of its own hierarchical models. The paper analyzes metrics suitable for evaluating intelligent information systems, in particular — systems that are based on ontologies, non-relational (hierarchical) databases, non-normalized (nested) relationships.

Blockchain (blockchain — chain of blocks) — Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). This is a combination of components that includes: peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, distributed storage, and cryptography (hashing and public-key encryption). Popular implementations of blockchain technology include Bitcoin as the electronic currency, which can be used to make money transfer transactions from one wallet to another. This paper considers Blockchain technology and the possibility of its usage to verify real estate information. There is a high demand today in the Ethereum platform for creating any decentralized online services based on blockchain (Dapps), working on smart contracts basis. Ethereum greatly simplifies and reduces the cost of implementing a blockchain. Representatives from various industries are interested in blockchain technology. These are mainly companies from different sectors of the economy, especially the banking sector, stock exchanges, etc. Also known applications of technology to the land register. It is implemented by both large players (Microsoft, IBM, Acronis, R3 banking consortium), and the new startups. The paper analyzes various types of real estate fraud and their impact. The requirements for building the architecture of the real estate information verification service have been collected. The architecture of the reasonable contract which considers all the requirements is offered. To implement the blockchain-based algorithm, a distributed Ethereum database based on smart contracts has been chosen. The built approach itself is based on the use of Blockchain technology. The architecture of the real estate information verification service has been developed using Blockchain technology, which, in turn, guarantees the successful execution of transactions and stable operation, which guarantees the entering, updating, and storing of real estate information and its verification.

The work is devoted to the research of sources of risks of formation and management of human resources of the company and the development of a project of an information system to minimize the risks of dismissal. Existing approaches to employee incentives and programmatic decisions on the human capital accounting are described. This work analyzes the most famous modern information systems for monitoring and management of personnel. A target tree has been built to address the current problematic situation. Alternative means for the realization of the project of the information system considering the peculiarities of the scope are considered. The hierarchy of the general purpose of choosing the optimal means of implementing the information system for minimizing the risks of personnel management is presented. Using the method of analytical hierarchy, the priorities of alternatives relative to the focus are calculated. The most appropriate project implementation for such a system is to use the WordPress platform. A complex of UML diagrams was developed for the project implementation. The structure of the project in the form of WBS is given. Gantt chart, which shows in detail the schedule of information system design. To track all possible deviations of the project, the critical path of the project is calculated. The prototype information system for minimizing the risks of dismissal of workers runs on an Apache Web Server using MySQL as a database. The design was based on a suite of tools for creating WordPress sites and web applications. The project of the information system implements the policy of identification and management of risks associated with the outflow of valuable employees, describes and allows to regulate the procedure of identification and accounting of employees who are the sole owners of project knowledge. It also defines the sequence of steps that make it impossible to incur the risks associated with the outflow of staff, complicate, and/or slow down the process. The information system in the field of software development, database design, and support of existing information systems is offered.

This paper is devoted to implementing the algorithm for constructing short-term strength curves of wood with biaxial stress states in the radial-tangential plane of structural symmetry. To implement this algorithm was developed software based on the Qt cross-platform toolkit, which allows to build and analyze short-term strength curves in the cross section of wood. The created program has a possibility to choose one of three failure criteria, a kind of wood, temperature and humidity distribution of lumber. The C++ program code is designed so that you can easily add another type of wood as well as a failure criterion. To display the curves, you can select table or graph mode. Graphs can be fixed on a graphics widget, and new ones can be added to compare to previous ones. Based on the analysis of the constructed curves, the ultimate stress state of the material in partial cases is established. In conclusion about expedient using some criteria to describe the strength characteristics of wood with strong and weak asymmetry of strength limits.

The concept of creating a multi-level mobile personalized system for fighting viral diseases, in particular Covid-19, was developed. Using the integration of the Internet of Things, Cloud Computing and Big Data technologies, the system involves a combination of two architectures: client-server and publication-subscription. The advantage of the system is the permanent help with viral diseases, namely on communication, information, and medical stages. The smart city concept in the context of viral disease control focuses on the application of Big Data analysis methods and the improvement of forecasting procedures and emergency treatment protocols. Using different technologies, cloud server stores the positioning data obtained from different devices, and the application accesses API to display and analyze the positioning data in real time. Due to the technologies combination, internal and external positioning can be used with a certain accuracy degree, being useful for various medical and emergency situations and analysis and the following processing by other smart city information systems. The result of the given investigation is the development of the conceptual model of multi-level mobile personalized health status monitoring system used for intellectual data analysis, prediction, treatment and prevention of viral diseases such as Covid-19 in modern “smart city”.
