The use of technology has been widely used for many people in every aspect of life and become part of daily activities in recent years. One of technology application is in the learning and education process. Adaptive Navigation Support (ANS) is a method and part of a hypermedia study that can boost the performance of students by using the benefit of technology. With ANS, students are able to make the learning process more interesting as the learning material relatively corresponds to their knowledge and preferences. Furthermore, ANS can guide students in finding their paths and ways in hyperspace based on student requirements, goals, and characteristics. Therefore, ANS has caught many researchers attention in their studies to improve student skills and performance in the learning process. Many papers, discussed in ANS, have been published over the last decade, however, no one has studied the ANS in a comprehensive way. This paper is a literature review in ANS and its application as well as its implication in the learning process. There are fourty-nine papers as its source of analysis. Our findings show that the applications of ANS can be classified into four dimensions, such as platform, use case, impact, and process. These classifications are based on the study of ANS applications and implications over the last decade.

This dissertation comprises three projects designed to investigate the relationship between flow and music performance anxiety and using flow to alleviate music performance anxiety. One investigation is a comprehensive literature review on flow theory and music performance anxiety. The literature review showed that flow and music performance anxiety were negatively correlated, and that facilitating flow can provide a powerful tool to reduce music performance anxiety. The second investigation is a quantitative study aimed to explore relationships between flow and music performance anxiety, which involves seventy-five participants from different music majors and education levels. Data were collected by questionnaires. Results indicated that items from four dimensions of flow (clear goals, unambiguous feedback, autotelic experience, and loss of self-consciousness) were most significantly and negatively correlated with MPA, and that strategies related to these four dimensions items may help to reduce MPA. Gender, age, education level, major, and performance form had no direct impact on flow experience, while performance time and performance frequency were significantly positively correlated with one flow dimension (unambiguous feedback). Educational level was positively correlated, and performance time and performance were negatively correlated, with MPA items. Music performers could benefit by practicing more to prepare for their performances, especially for the soloists. The third investigation is a qualitative study aimed to provide a theoretical framework for facilitating flow and reducing music performance anxiety. Data were collected by seven interviews, and ground theory method was used in the analysis. Based on this analysis, a theoretical framework for facilitating flow and reducing music performance anxiety was generated, which included three themes: preparation of performers, modeling by teachers, and construction of flow experience.

Students with dyslexia often face many challenges in their learning process. Some of the challenges could be trying to understand the content when they lack the ability to read properly. Teachers, however, and all other professional stakeholders have a duty to find ways to help these students meet quality education and exploit their maximum potential despite their challenges. By incorporating technological solutions in the classrooms, academic challenges for learners can be reduced, ensuring that students with dyslexia get the most out of the education process. Therefore, this systematic literature review aims to explore what mobile applications are available that can be used to enhance the learning experience for students with dyslexia and what the literature says about how the overall learning experience of these students might change by providing mobile applications. Nine articles met the criteria for review and were included. The results showed that the introduction of mobile applications can effectively enhance the learning process, essentially pertaining to individuals with dyslexia. Furthermore, the various systems being developed in the form of m-learning applications are proving to be useful, especially on pre-literacy and dyslexic learning. The new developments are poised to increase students with dyslexia motivations for learning since they grant them an opportunity and avenue to make the learning process easy for them. The review concludes that there is a need for more research to determine what development components are needed to evaluate the mobile application that being used for students with dyslexia.
