Ethylene is the largest of the olefin markets and is also one of the most important petrochemically derived monomers that are used as a feedstock for the production of various commercially useful chemical products (e.g. polyethylene, polymers, fibers etc.). The primary objective of this chapter is to provide a comprehensive overview about olefins particularly ethylene production technologies and its commercial significance in the world market. The content of this chapter is presented as follows: a general overview about olefins production is given. This is followed by introducing the reader to ethylene including its properties importance/applications. The next section describes the production technologies of ethylene and some of its selected derivatives, followed by an overview of the technology, market, costs, capacity, global demand and supply of ethylene technology. Finally, main points and outlook of this highly industrially important commodity chemical are summarized.

The main organizational characteristics of the world space industry in the context of increased international competition have been determined. Introduction. The world market of electrical equipment is developing very fast. There are many companies in the market that sell electrical equipment, among them there are companies that occupy leading positions. Today, the world market of energy engineering is estimated at 87 billion dollars per year, based on the structural dynamics of growth, the annual volume can reach 110-115 billion dollars per year until 2025. The global market for energy equipment service in 2020 is 31.7 billion dollars, including: LTSA (long-term service) 47 %, modernization – 20 %, field service – 24 %, engineering – 9 %. The purpose of the paper is to analyze the world market of electrical equipment, determine sales, business growth. The list of leaders in electrical equipment on the world market is considered. Results. The main trends in the world today are the following areas: development of DC transmission system, cable lines for underwater laying and cable for connections of renewable energy sources to reduce energy transmission costs through the capabilities of existing transmission lines, through network voltages and innovative design solutions and installation methods. The amendment for these trends shows us the world leaders in the electrical market, such as Legrand, Schneider Electric, ABB, Siemens, DEKraft, SASSIN, EKF, etc., R&D costs are 3.5–5 % of profits (over 60 years). Thus, we can conclude that the global market for cable networks is developing rapidly. This market is expected to grow in the development of smart grid technologies, renewable energy generation and initiatives to modernize the transmission and distribution system. Conclusion. That the global cable ladder market is developing rapidly. This market is expected to grow in the development of smart grid technologies, renewable energy cultivation and government initiatives to modernize transmission and distribution systems.

Franchising has been popular as a strategy for businesses to grow and innovate. It is even more so in today's business need of developing digital solutions for sustainability. In responding to United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, using franchise innovation to replicate proven sustainable solutions in other parts of the world is an effective approach to scaling up solutions to achieve Sustainable Development Goals. The essence of a successful franchise innovation lies in managing the good relationship between the franchisor and the franchisee. In this paper, we show that digital business solutions for sustainability play an important role in growing and nurturing such a good relationship. Specifically, we discuss that franchise innovation via Netchising, combining the digital power of the Internet for global demand-and-supply processes and the international franchising arrangement with local business solutions for sustainability, is an entrepreneurial approach to communities' development where economic and social aspects are mutually supportive.

In the majority of the developed and in some of the developing countries we can observe gradual shift from the conventional public urban transport vehicles driven by diesel fuel towards electric vehicles. The process requires changes in the demand and supply side of urban transport market in particular countries around the world. The aim of this paper is to assess the standing of electric bus market in Poland against a background of the European and world market. The assessment involved presenting, in the first part of the article, characteristics of the worldwide and European markets from the demand and supply side. As for the world market of electric buses, the article discusses at great length the characteristics of Chinese market since this is the dominant market as regards both the number of vehicle in operation and the number of manufactured electric buses. The second part of the article provides the characteristics of demand and supply side of electric bus market in Poland presenting both domestic and European electric bus manufacturers who situated their production plants in Poland. The article also presents forecasts related to the scale of demand increase reported by the Polish local authorities.

Space is not only a place of international cooperation, but also a place for competition. The failures that accompanied the key player in the market, the United States, have recently stimulated NASA's ambitious commercial space program which has enabled a successful partnership with two American companies. This new business model should not only reduce the cost of flights, but also create a basis for further space exploration. In order to create sustainable economic growth in Russia, it seems necessary to develop the whole range of priority areas. One of the most promising is the rocket and space industry. The reasons are the large turnover, experience and unique technological competencies. We believe that Russia will succeed in case it activates internal reserves of a country and wisely uses global market opportunities. Technical and technological development of the rocket and space and related industries will strengthen the state’s position in the world market and will enhance the international competitiveness of Russian enterprises. In this article, authors analyze the current state of the Russian and world space markets, evaluate the performance of RSC «Energia», formulate proposals for modernization of company's activities that will help Russia strengthen and expand its positions among the global players.

Despite the global economic slowdown, the sales of organic products on the international market continue to grow, and their production is becoming one of the most promising directions in agriculture. Given Ukraine's natural resources, export-oriented production of organic products has great potential. The purpose of this survey – to analyze the current trends on the global market for organic products, as well as the potential for organic farming in Ukraine, and to find the prospects and ways to develop exports. Using of general logical methods of induction and deduction, analyzing the trends on the global market for organic products and the potential of Ukraine's agriculture, organizational, economic, socio-cultural and regulatory conditions for the development of organic production in Ukraine are distinguished. The factors and promising directions of Ukraine's export specialization on the world market for organic products are explored, major methods of stimulating and supporting exporting producers are suggested.

The paper examines the existence of a causal relationship in Grangers' sense between the movement of Bitcoin prices and the price of gold at the global financial market, in order to answer the question whether it is possible to predict the movement of the Bitcoin price based on the movement of the price of gold in the world market, but also vice versa. The survey was conducted from January 1, 2019 to December 1, 2019. In the research was used the Granger causality test (1969). The research results show that historical data on the movement of gold prices in the world market cannot be used to predict the change in value and price movements of Bitcoin. On the other hand, the survey results indicate the possibility of a reliable application of the use of historical data on the movement of value and price of Bitcoin.
