This chapter argues, on ethical grounds, that wherever possible patient-participation must be kept consistent with the level of healthy rational agency that is, or might be, available to the patient. Merely compliant patient-participation is not enough. This is also true of patient-adaptation or adjustment. Mere adaptive compliance is not enough. Accepting patient-consent, cooperation, and compliance as an adequate indication of genuine agentic participation is often hard to avoid, but such acceptance is also often inconsistent with appropriate healthcare. These conclusions follow, as a matter of empirically informed practical ethics, from an analysis of the lifelong habilitative tasks that face every human being, and the role that the patient's healthy agency plays in the development, protection, or restoration of the patient's agency itself and the patient's basic good health generally.

Microbiota is a life line for human being, however if the balance in interspecies of microbiota is disturb, it can cause not only serious diseases but can kill also. Collectively the microbiotal species act as epigenetic factor for humans. First exposure to microbiota is in utero. The whole health programming of the individuals stars even before birth. C-section or fed formula fed babies are immunologically weaker than that of normal delivered and beast fed babies. For the lifelong good health of babies, Mothers should opt for vaginal delivery and breastfeeding for healthy newborn

Geriatric patients in intermediate care (IC) often do not feel involved in their rehabilitation process. We conducted interviews with 15 patients and 12 relatives to explore their experiences and preferences regarding patient participation in IC and identify types of patient participation and their potential empowering or disempowering effect. The analysis disclosed a lack of patient choice in a predetermined IC pathway. Being deserving of help meant being sick enough and was associated with the compliant patient who fits the system. Some main additional features were the need of a rehabilitation perspective and patient engagement to enable coproduction as well as the important contribution of relatives as advocates and allies. Finally, the results show the patients’ vulnerable voice in the meeting with the experts’ views. The study will add important knowledge on how staff can contribute to the tailoring of good interventions in IC and improve the understanding of underlying structures.

Focusing on the human necessity of habilitation leads to a more inclusive and adequate account of the circumstances of justice. Such an account involves paying persistent attention to similarities and differences in the physical and psychological abilities of actual human agents. That in turn leads to equally persistent attention to the basic good health (or lack of it) in such agents, and to their inabilities (disabilities) and abilities. Such attention to basic good health then yields a disability-friendly starting point for the construction of normative theories of basic justice generally. It does this by providing a constant undercurrent of attention to the crucial problems of human habilitation and rehabilitation that any plausible normative theory of justice must address. Those problems of justice, moreover, are framed as part of the inescapable project of working around human disabilities, or through them, toward situations in which their salience for basic justice is minimized.

The purpose of this study was to explore the views and experiences of adult cancer patients about patient participation in care and decision making and the preconditions for this participation. The data were collected by means of focused interviews; in addition the patients completed depression and problem-solving instruments. The sample comprised 34 cancer patients from the haematological and oncological wards of one university hospital in Finland. The results revealed considerable variation in the patients’ views on their participation in care and decision making. Some of the patients understood participation either in terms of contributing to the decision making or in terms of expressing their views on treatment options. Some considered that their participation in care was impossible. Patient participation in care and decision making was promoted by good health, access to information, assertiveness, good interactive relationships with nurses and physicians, and encouragement by nurses and physicians to participate. Factors restricting such patient participation were poor health, ignorance, anxiety, age, time pressures of staff, lack of time, high staff turnover and poor interactive relationships. With regard to participation in medical decision making, the patients were divided into three groups: (1) active participants ( n = 7), (2) patients giving active consent ( n = 9), and (3) patients giving passive consent to medical decisions ( n = 18).

Abstract The research purpose is to present the possibilities of the human being which are useful in order to improve the personal level of energy and to achieve an increased balance and a strong self control. These are the necessary conditions to be performed and in the same time to maintain a good health. Humans usually use energy from external sources. But, first of all, by employing different personal techniques, one can reach a high level of balance, energy and self control. These are the simplest, the fastest, the most efficient, the most economical and also ecological ways to have energy. If these attempts are efficient, you are first of all warm, then less ill and stressed. Everybody should try these kinds of methods first. A comparison was made between the results from two consecutive years, obtained by measuring the subject using a Bio-Well device. It results an increase of 23% in the energy level, in the conditions that the other parameters are optimal. The general balance reached the value of 99.97%. The authors proved, with the occasion of these original measurements, that a perfect balance can be reached. Another set of original and new measurements reveal the possibility of the human being to have a good self control. The subject proposed and succeeded in moving the second body energy centre by his own will, which is the most important energy centre of the body in the Zen-Buddhism. This is a remarkable completely original result obtained, maybe, for the first time in the world. In principle, we could control then the positions of the all seven energy centers, one by one. And so, the whole balance of the body. Also, in this way an incredible personal control and level of performance and also a high level of happiness can be achieved.

Abstract The scope of the research is to investigate and to present the human being as a whole. The article presents a series of experiments regarding the human being. It reveals, based on proven facts, such as video footages and scientific measurements, that the human being is not only just a simple physical body. It is a complex structure with an energy shell and a soul with an essential role and these details have to be studied more thoroughly in the future. As the human body uses energy, specific measurement practices are applied. The authors used an Electro Photonic Imaging Device and a Thermal Vision Camera Device because the measured energy frequencies are not within the optical visual frequency range. The general and the detailed human body health state can be evaluated using the EPI Device. Despite the classical medicine approach that considers only the physical component of the body, the article proves the existence and reveals a wider behavior of the human being from the supplementary point of view which is often called spirit, soul, ethereal body or just entity. It is also shown that the human being is capable of evaluating and healing by own means. Thus, a study case is presented regarding the health state evolution during a period of one year, while the human body is continuously taking care of itself. The complete control of the entire human being leads to a continuous good health and also to a good physical and psychic state, with increased performances in all activities. All these achievements can be useful to also obtain a very good job. The objective of the authors are to proof that the soul exists and also that every person can act to improve the own health, the general state and so to rich easier the happiness.
