The world is struggling and dealing with a new pandemic named Coronavirus. Technologies such as the internet of things, IR4.0, artificial intelligence, and social media applications are becoming crucial tools during these tumultuous times to aid humanity in different perspectives. Many industries and people around the world are utilizing these applications to perform daily life operations. Therefore, technological innovations are continuously improving in every sector. For instance, in many hospitals, COVID-19 patients are monitored using the IoT-based networks on a regular basis with the ability to make decisions with the aid of the artificial intelligence. Industrial Revolution 4.0 is another technology that is helping business in current pandemic situation. In current pandemic, internet and 4G networks are playing important roles. These networks demand heavy bandwidth and show new future industries trends. In this chapter, the authors have discussed IoT, IR 4.0, AI, and social media applications' roles and impact on society, usability, and future trend demands.

Abstract According to Christopher Freeman technological revolutions play a key role in capitalist development. In this article, we ask to what extent more recent developments are consistent with the perspective advanced by Freeman. We focus on two issues in particular, the climate challenge and what has been dubbed “A Fourth Industrial Revolution” that is, advances in artificial intelligence and the proliferation of the internet of things.

This book traces the evolution of the archive across the centuries by looking at primitive, Medieval, Renaissance, Victorian and contemporary archives. Crucially, the book evidences the fluidity and potential inter-changeability between libraries, archives and museums. A number of case studies offer an insight into the operation of a variety of different types of archives, including cabinets of curiosity, archival artforms, architectures, performances, road-shows, time capsules, social media documentation practices, databases, and a variety of museological web-based heritage platforms. The archive is shown to play a crucial role in how individuals and social groups administer themselves through and within a burgeoning social memory apparatus. This is why at the heart of every industrial revolution thus far, the archive continues to contribute to the way we store, preserve and generate knowledge through an accumulation of documents, artifacts, objects, as well as ephemera and even debris. The archive has always been strategic for different types of economies, including the digital economy and the internet of things. Shown here to increasingly affect to the way we map, produce, and share knowledge, the apparatus of the archive, which allows us to continuously renew who we are in relation to the past, so that new futures may become possible, now effectively pervades almost every aspect of our lives.

Currently the speeding up of digital transformation makes it obvious that application of digital technologies and the degree of involvement into digital transformation is an essential and significant aspect of scientific and technical potential of an industrial enterprise. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is a phrase that is frequently heard in the media. This study explores the major changes that this revolution has installed for us. The Fourth Industrial Revolution is an umbrella term for many aspects, and the study takes note of the concepts like the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, artificial general intelligence, artificial superintelligence, transhumanism and Homo digitalis. The spin-off effect of this revolution may cause possible disruptive effects on Homo sapiens by creating greater numbers of Homo disruptus. The term Homo disruptus is not a frequently used term, although it can be used in conjunction with the disruption that will be part of our future. Disruption may occur because of emerging technology, robotics, unemployment, digital dictatorships and exploitation, the side effects of Homo digitalis and transhumanism. The church will be part and parcel of this world, although the church does not have to be a victim and can play a significant role in anchoring Homo disruptus with the timeless message of the gospel and finding innovative ways to deal with their disruptive world.

AbstractIn the upcoming years, the internet of things (IoT) will enrich daily life. The combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and highly interoperable systems will bring contextsensitive multi-domain services to reality. This paper describes a concept for an AI-based smart living platform with open- HAB, a smart home middleware, andWeb of Things (WoT) as key components of our approach. The platform concept considers different stakeholders, i.e. the housing industry, service providers, and tenants. These activities are part of the Fore- Sight project, an AI-driven, context-sensitive smart living platform.

The rapid technological advances in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era resulted in various technological developments that were increasingly innovative and varied. Starting from this then innovation about artificial intelligence or Artificial Intelligence began to attract many parties including the government itself to use it in the life of the bureaucracy in this country. This was then compounded by the development of the Internet of Things and Big Data which added to the government's desire to modernize the bureaucracy but was threatened by the disruption that would change all the old orders used and upheld. The preferred methodological approach in the study is a general analysis of auditing in Industry 4.0 in the form of a literature review. According to the purpose of the study, the effect and role of auditing big data, the internet of things, the cloud, artificial intelligence, and other components in Industry 4.0 are investigated. Furthermore, auditing activities that can be implemented in Industry 4.0 are presented as suggestions in the study. The study explains the role of auditing as a whole in Industry 4.0 as a consequence of examining audit activities for each component in Industry 4.0.
